As a historian that "Unearthed" game really ticks me off. Ibn Battuta's travels were truly amazing. The fact that this game may be the only time many have heard of him makes me cry.
10 reminds me of a Unity asset demo that Unity gives you when you buy the asset package. Just the story is not there besides for the bare minimum to get you started with how to do it for yourself. That is how "Final Sword" came off to me just "Final Sword" is worse as it has a full story and tries to be a game worth playing instead of a demo area that is intended to be improved upon by the developers.
honestly 10 could be good, if they removed the obvious legend of zelda music and if they polished the game a bit. some TLC. from the looks of it the animation quality isnt terrible nor are the fighting mechanics but the rest of the game does feel like a demo.

Dishonorable mention: The War Z AKA Infestation: Survivor Stories, a ripoff of DayZ by the co-creator of Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing, Taxi Chaos, a terrible Crazy Taxi ripoff by notorious shovelware studio Team6, and Sabec's Popeye, an asset flipping 3D mockery of Nintendo's original arcade game.
Bro ngl the nova games (halo copycats) are actually decently fun to playthrough specially nova 3, if you have nothing better to do (like me) you should give nova 3 a shot but that game is long gone from the playstore so you have to download it via archives there's alot of tutorials out there so uh yeah give it a shot
I actually really enjoyed Rogue Warrior. For a really bad FPS, it's pretty darn fun. The one liners by Mickey Rourke are hilariously bad, and that end credits song? forget about it!

This came out when video stores were around and I was like oh this game looks cool, I put it in...and wow... I hated it so much I just had to keep playing to see if it got any better lol
For the first game, Final Sword at 1:34, I recognize that wolf from a free asset pack in the Epic Games library, it even is using the default animation that comes with the creature. All they did was add a shader to it. xD That means they had a exceedingly low budget.
A LOT of these games are made in SE Asia and that way they get around all the copyright and IP stuff in most markets - all of them are in the bargin section of any game market ....
Okay, Geography lesson time Did you know South East Asia only consists of 10 countries? Out of those 10 games only 3 made in Asian land which are Japan, Saudi, and China. Fun fact none of them are considered South East Asia. The rest of these games are either made in Britain, USA, Mexico, and Italia. So wonder what game you talking about that being made by South East Asian.
The thing about haze is that the concept behind it is actually really cool. If only a game did it well....oh wait. we happy few exists so it has been done well lol

2:12 actually, n.o.v.a used to be one of the better Halo knockoffs. N.O.V.A 3 is very impressive for a mobile game that came out in 2012. Everything was great until Gameloft released nova legacy and Gameloft became greedy
I find it funny that you mention Breakin' 2 Electric Boogaloo while talking about a max payne ripoff.. considering there's a game called "Double Action: Boogaloo" that was a half-life mod with bullet time powers. (Which is honestly one of the few PvP-only shooters that I actually really like)

If Final Sword is that bad then it make Baldo look like a masterpiece.
Ill never forget that fuckin song. I laugh every time i think about it 😂
Watching this top 10 list almost made me want to quit gaming but then I remembered all the great games such as, Witcher 3, Metro Exodus and RDR2 among many more; Definitely depressing.
I guess at some point we will see rip-offs such as: turbo championship (rocket league) , drop dudes (fall guys) , huntbuild (minecraft) , we who remain (the last of us, god of battle (god of war) , 😉😏
I have a feeling that these copycat game were made by a team who had a 1-2 passionate devs, those who probably just graduated. I feel sorry for them, the ones who actually tried to give it their best thinking this was their starting off point.
I feel HAZE had a really interesting premise! It would be awesome if it got another go and it got a decent budget!

That girl... Is she from "Battle Chasers: Nightwar"? I love that game)
Haze wasn't bad after updates, Hype killed it from the start. Rogue warrior is a blast for 1 playthrough.
@@Almighty_Flat_Earth man you're such a wimp
Back when I didn't care about reviews, hype etc I absolutely loved Haze. Me and my best friend were playing splitscreen Multiplayer 24/7.
Rogue warrior wasnt a knock off. Marcinko is an amazing rl hero. That was the name of one of his books.
I agree. Haze is a good game now, if you take it for what it is.
I enjoyed playing through it.
I remember playing rogue warrior on pc. It was mediocre, not horrible. You just... play it, end it because it is not so bad you stop it midway, and never play it again.
Rogue warrior is an experience every gamer should have 🤣 It’s so bad it’s good. Very hilarious 😂
All they did was add a shader to it. xD
That means they had a exceedingly low budget.
A LOT of these games are made in SE Asia and that way they get around all the copyright and IP stuff in most markets - all of them are in the bargin section of any game market ....
Okay, Geography lesson time
Did you know South East Asia only consists of 10 countries?
Out of those 10 games only 3 made in Asian land which are Japan, Saudi, and China. Fun fact none of them are considered South East Asia.
The rest of these games are either made in Britain, USA, Mexico, and Italia.
So wonder what game you talking about that being made by South East Asian.
Would love to see 10 copycat games that are actually good

The voice acting in Haze was awful. Just...awful.
The thing about haze is that the concept behind it is actually really cool. If only a game did it well....oh wait. we happy few exists so it has been done well lol
@@whitepaws60 define "well" lmfao
@@DoctorSquirt I mean its not the best game ever made but its pretty decent imo. World wise its great
Rogue Warrior sound alright actually
Wasn’t expecting a Breakin 2 stray 😂😂😂
Finally there are kids in 3rd world countries that may only have these as options; so it’s cool they have a Mario kart substitute .🍾
i remember haze. well not really i forgot about it till this video lol. wasnt terrible tho.
I was dying by the 20th "look at it. Just look at it." With games this bad, a glimpse of a clip is all you need lol
Is there a joke I'm missing about the cover of the third Ratchet and Clank game being to glitchy or...?
No it's for the RUclips algorithm the games name is Ratchet and clank up your arsenal, RUclips will demonetize for less
@@krushking643 Really ? For a picture now ? This platform is falling appart more and more by the day...
can someone tell me where is that clip from at 8:47? I know i seen it but not sure how to find it.
You forgot Capstone the the pinnacle of doom clones.
In the wolfenstein 3d engine... or terrible Build ones
William Shatner’s Tekwar is probably my favorite game of theirs, purely because of the meme potential of Shatner himself berating you after each mission. 🤣
I'm here! 😎 Great video, just posting a comment to show some support! Keep up the good work. 🤙
This is great
2:12 actually, n.o.v.a used to be one of the better Halo knockoffs. N.O.V.A 3 is very impressive for a mobile game that came out in 2012. Everything was great until Gameloft released nova legacy and Gameloft became greedy
Wasn't the ripoff of BotW called "genshin impact"?
The "Just look at it" gets me every time
This list makes Genshin impact look decent.
I find it funny that you mention Breakin' 2 Electric Boogaloo while talking about a max payne ripoff.. considering there's a game called "Double Action: Boogaloo" that was a half-life mod with bullet time powers. (Which is honestly one of the few PvP-only shooters that I actually really like)
The best part of this is rogue warrior. Only because check out who Dick Marcenko is and his book. That had so much potential.
The game Haze was so hyped that Sony dished out money to have KoRn make a song for the game.
"There's so much souls-like game to choose from"
*Beyond: Two Souls*
yep, that's a very souls-like game
