Cellframe - Integrated 2x different quantum signatures at the same time. Quantum signatures file is huge, while CELL was coded in C programming language for hardware optimization. The team already tested 3 different quantum signatures, and top 2 is run in under few milliseconds. Hence Cellframe team has choose and already integrated crystal dellitium and falcon into their platform as recommended by NIST.

But that’s not really true. There are only a few quantum algos that are hypothetically useful for specific tasks. However, for most tasks for which no algo in polynomial time exists, you are facing the same issue on quantum computers as well: you need to define an algorithm that brings an exponential speedup. Quantum Computers by itself does not bring any benefit at all.

I have spoken with one of the top researchers working with quantum computers at a certain company at a conference in ACM CCS 2022 in Copenhagen and he has a very pessimistic outlook on quantum computers. We just aren't going to have computers with enough qubits to do all the things we are hoping to do since we will need SOOO many redundant qubits just to prevent all the faults that are possible. Even with research that suggests fixes, scaling is always an issue. I have a chemistry degree and computer science degree and a lot of the things he was telling me to justify his claims I forgot but it really did put a damper on my short term excitement in the industry.

U need a quantum channel. It is the only heuristic way to replace thermodynamic cybersecurity like pow or pseudo random algorithms like u could integrate it into pos with/by an infinite quantum rule: observer effect! If u look at me u will make me spin! Asymmetric keys wont last long in that decade, we will enter a decade of symmetric keys/ road of keys created by randomly polarized photons (4 different quantum informations) and random filter patterns (another 4 different states of reading the info out). So if u all look 4 that gem u should maybe wait 4 a meme token called "schroedingers cat"... LOL

difference between traditional and quantum computing is the first are general purpose computers , quantums are single , you build a quantum computer for a specific purpose , i.e break SHA256 , a quantum wouldnt mine BTC it would break the underlying protocol , ONCE. crypto is going to go anti quantum same as it went anti ASIC (well at least some protocols)

    • @hanelyp1

The approach to cracking a wallet is to reverse derive the private key from the public key. Common password hashes are unrelated algorithms, not vulnerable to quantum attack.
In our favor, I expect exponential difficulty with key length to still apply with quantum algorithms.

The NSA and CIA have probably had a fully functional 5000 qbit computer for the last 20 years and only recently allowed tech companies and the public some exposure to the tech. Whatever the case, the public is always the LAST to even know about such things. Decades later, if at all.
