i think he didn't need to because the power-ups are 5 times as powerful and he gets 5 of them which means every time he gets a power-up he gets 25 of them
I like how blitz forgot that he had 2 multiplyers that basically made each chest give you 25 items and not 5 because it gave 5 things that were at 5x strength each
