I miss being a kid, being a true kid. I miss my elementary friends. I miss secrectly whispering when the teacher left the room. I miss making duct tape wallets, trading silly bands, and spinning rulers on top of pencils. I miss playing tag on the playground, having contests to see who could swing the highest. I miss when the only stressful thing were time test. I miss Valentine day parties. I miss the feeling of last day of school, the pure joy that filled out hearts on that day as we played games. I miss doing silly stuff with friends. I miss getting let out early for lunch. I miss trading lunches and talking about our plans for the playground. I miss kickball tournaments, dodgeball, and capture the flag. I miss my innocence, the faith I had in my teachers to protect me. I miss when teachers were cool if they handed out candy. I miss the Halloween parties where we would trade candy and wear vampire teeth. I miss when being popular meant you could to the fast rap parts of certain songs, when dating meant you shared school supplies and held hands, when the worries of the world couldn't even come near you. I miss searching pictures of puppies and secrectly playing Club Penguin in computer class. I miss when test were open book, when the word failing didn't even exist. When school shootings were a thing you hear about in the movies. When depression, suicide, and drugs were all words too big for you to pronounce. When we thought high schoolers were cool and we couldn't wait to be one. I miss it, I miss my childhood... -Tina Cheng

Doing it right now - and, much like Carl, had to learn to let go of the past and look forward. Not easy, but worth it.
Literally every moment and every second. I always live in fear, to an extent.
But nevertheless, I try to see all the good that has come into my life despite all the bad. Because that's what counts really.

@@NT-kr6dn No They showed him sitting at the funeral, every time I listen to this it makes me cry just because of how sad that was, because they tried having a kid, they get old, want to vacation so they save up as much as possible, and then she starts getting to the point where her time was coming a bit too soon. So like when he was in the hospital she sent a balloon with a stick while he read their adventure book, so he did the same, kissed her on the head, and now she's passed on, and he's spends the rest of his days with his house where everything in the city has changed except for his house, and he didn't want anyone touching it. It makes you want to cherish everything you have, because one day it could be gone. And that's a hurt that last a life time.

@@Phil-bz5jq you'll get there. it took me close to 7 years before i was confident enough to play infront of people. guitar is a slow process but what you get out of it depends on how much time your willing to put in :)

Thank you for making this cover. The movie reminds me of my grandfather who passed away this past September. This song always brings happy memories back of when I was little, then leads to the sad part, following with the happy tune again. Like living those happy memories, mourning, and continuing life remembering those memories. This song means a lot to me.
hey man I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather. one of my grandfathers passed away last Thanksgiving and one of my grandma's passed away around 6 years ago. just know it does get better, it still hurts, but it gets better

I was too young to understand the movie that time but felt sad for the old man

I felt the emotions in the guitar beautiful cove man I swear I could off closed mi eyes and see every seen of this wonderful movie.
The first time I watched this film, I was on my way to my home country and had access to films on a tiny TV screen fitted to the seat in front of me.
After this scene, I looked at both my parents and couldnt stop my tears from flowing.
To this day they are still confused as to why I was crying and they actually bring it up as more a funny joke about me crying randomly at 'nothing' 😂

I remembered my Nanay Apiang(Grandmother). She is a caring old woman. She really loved to sing alot like alot. She sang these nursery songs to us, her grandchildren, and it was really charming. Yeah and she had this dream to go to this show on tv. It's a show by an influencer here in Philippines. And she really really wanted to go there. But she didn't get to go to the show because she's been too old and cannot think straight and we had no money. So she died without even having the chance to see the host of that show, Willie Revillame. And whenever I see that show still running on tv, it pains me so much. And this song just reminded me of the joys and songs she used to sing everytime. I still love love love Nanay Apiang...and I would always do

this piece I disliked. Notes with no feeling. This performance made
me cry(great) I would love to play Piazzolla “1930 Cafe” with this
guitarist at one of my concerts. Others I’ve tried, they have educated
feeling, but don’t get it. This guy is the real deal!!
