Im very loyal to my grandfather, he used to make wooden toys for a living. I once recieved all the old toys he made before he retired. When I accidentally break one of the toys, he wouldn't mind to fix it. One day, I broke my wooden duck. My grandfather that time was weak and quiet, but I still asked him if he could fix the duck. "Of course my boy, anything for you." He said that as he smiled. The next day, I was very excited to get my duck back. I found my grandfather lying on his bed with my duck fixed and newly painted. It reminds me of the short time of living here on earth. We should spend the given time for those people that we love. Becouse if the time will come that they need to rest we can't even enjoy the every moment of happiness in life. Ups and downs will never disappear in life, we should be positive as always and put a smile on your lips to shine and share it to others. Love all the people who loves you too

Before I was born my mother was told she would never have another child, my father told me she had cried for weeks after that revelation. After the news had sunk in they decided to adopt a child, everything was drawn up and ready but during one of the mandatory physicals to adopt the doctor found my mom was by a miracle pregnant with me. When I first saw this film in theaters with my mom I never knew why she hugged me so hard in that scene but now I understand and it makes it hit all the harder.
Aren Sereathy cheers bro, you’re the miracle baby, keep that with you for the rest of your life and anytime the hardships of life come, remember that you were brought into this world by destiny
One of the last things my great grandad said to me was when we visited him in hospital, he said: '' Merry Christmas '' and gave me and my siblings at the time some money.. It was nowhere near Christmas though. He was always so sweet and his memory is with us forever 💜
You know what, personally, I am not a person that cries while watching something, of course, I feel sad and sorry but usually I don't cry like with tears. Like I cried only 3 times in my life while watching something, and one of them is Up. I cried at the beginning, more precisely at moment, which is showed in the video, and at the ending, where Carl opens next page and finds out Ellie's message and scrapbook omg At that moment I felt a lot of wmotions, like sadness(and started to cry), sweetness(how Ellie made scrapbook), enjoyment of the graphics(i literally can tell every object's material) and surprise(the fact that i am crying over a film) So, Up is masterpiece. This is the fact
My grandpa passed away a week ago, and my grandma died a few years before he did. My grandpa went into such a depression when she died. Whenever I see this, I think of them. Rest in Paradise Grandma and Grandpa ❤️😇
I remember being 6 years old and watching this at school. I pretty much cried at every movie I saw back then, no exaggeration, so you can see how this turns out. I couldn't understand why the other kids were fine and just kept watching it. I kept thinking about the scene for the rest of the day and tbh didn't even pay attention to the rest of the movie. The tennis ball walking stick hitting head thing made me cry even more. I think I might have gone out the room, or at least did some coloring for the rest of the film. It still really hurts today and I haven't watched the full movie since.
Sorry for your loss, if you want we can talk about it so that you'll feel better. I lost my bird, and he was so white like the snow and sweet... I loved him very much...
Anybody noticed that when they were getting married, so much people were there, but when Ellie died nobody was there to comfort the husband.. that just goes to show yo
When you grow old sometimes all of your friends die and that's why that particular scene where he's at the funeral is sad because all his friends are deceased
I like how the song goes happy at first then sad for 1 second and back to happy but then immediatly to sad again and happy and then sadder and just saddest.
I lost my dad a month ago, he and my mom were married for twenty years, and when I see this it makes me so sad, because they were so happy, just like my mom and dad... I am sad
See that's the worst thing about death, is that it hits you smack bang in ur face like a wall and it sticks with you and you have to try and hammer it down thinking of all the positive times thats you have ecpirenced. (Rip Granddad, died last year in his sleep with his favorite book in his hand and on his favorite chair and thing reminded me of him )
*When your online friend say his last "bye"because he's about to graduate and you open your game 4 months ago and you waiting him to play again but you realize he dont play games anymore*
That is both amazing and sad. The piece of music and the movie conveyed the emotion so clearly, and thats beautiful. But the fact that your parents only see Up as a sad movie is sad. Then again, everyone bases their opinion off of this one score anyways, so idk
Same I say I cried but I'm crying o. The inside...wait the only time I cried was when I listened to my great uncles funeral songs(backstory) my evil step mom didn't let me go see him as "punishment" in stead I only got to message him before they unplugged him also I didn't go to the funeral.
same, I feel really sad on the inside tho. there's nothing wrong with not crying to it but if you don't feel sad watching it, that's a whole nother story.
My grandmother and my grandfather both look so much like Carl and Ellie, down to the hair and faces. I can't help but think of them both when the movie plays their scene together. My grandmother reminds me of Ellie, being full of life and happiness, and traveled a lot (she was an immigrant from England and moved to America). They went on a fishing trip once and I think somewhere in Europe after saving up enough money. Carl reminds me of my grandfather, not only because they look alike but because he was so happy to be with her all the time. They even had chairs that LOOKED like the ones in the movie. He would sit in a small square one while my grandmother would sit in a tall red one. What breaks my heart is that she passed away in 2012, a few years after Up was released. We miss her so much, and my grandfather hates living in a big house without anyone by his side except for our annual visits. He recently had to put down his dog Rusty, who had been living for longer than he had and had joint problems. Now he has another dog we gave him when we moved out, and I'm not sure if she'll live another two or so years. My grandfather is grateful to have all these wonderful things in his life, just like how Carl does.

I see that quote at highschool
I saw this movie in the theater when I was 13. Even now at 28 this part of the movie still has me sobbing like a baby.😭😭😭😭
Love all the people who loves you too
Damn..
no-one loves me
@@pesty4592 you'll be surprised how much your mom loves you. you just don't know that
Damn that hit deep
This is why we need God. Jesus holds the key to life and death. He will let us see each other again and we will live on if we accept Him.

Every Time. I cry every time... Dang it, Pixar! So good!😭 that piano was just beautiful! I can't play piano but man, I love the sound of it.
I know that feeling...
The worst thing is we have a piano in our house always taunting me
Begging me to play it

+Patrick Wheeler I agree learn then you have all the time in your life to play it

You’ll never truly understand sadness until you’ve lost what was important to you.
Years later, I understood what the meaning of love was...
Aren Sereathy cheers bro, you’re the miracle baby, keep that with you for the rest of your life and anytime the hardships of life come, remember that you were brought into this world by destiny
omg😥💜
❣️
Thxs for coming to this world cuz your mom would been even more sad
Thumbs up
*9 years later and it still hits so hard-*
One of the last things my great grandad said to me was when we visited him in hospital, he said: '' Merry Christmas '' and gave me and my siblings at the time some money.. It was nowhere near Christmas though. He was always so sweet and his memory is with us forever 💜
@Narwhallys tv that's so sad sorry for your lost
Don't lie you at least cry once during this scene of the movie
Im not crying. Im cutting onions
I bawled my eyes out
You know what, personally, I am not a person that cries while watching something, of course, I feel sad and sorry but usually I don't cry like with tears. Like I cried only 3 times in my life while watching something, and one of them is Up.
I cried at the beginning, more precisely at moment, which is showed in the video, and at the ending, where Carl opens next page and finds out Ellie's message and scrapbook omg
At that moment I felt a lot of wmotions, like sadness(and started to cry), sweetness(how Ellie made scrapbook), enjoyment of the graphics(i literally can tell every object's material) and surprise(the fact that i am crying over a film)
So, Up is masterpiece. This is the fact
Well when I was a kid I don't remember if I cried or not. But I do remember crying on Land Before Time
I didn't cry,you did.
Hahaha, I won’t cry on this one

“Burst With Tears”
Has to be one of the happiest and saddest moments. Hard not to smile while being teary eyed when you know
imagine if they could have a child
the story will be much more heartbreaking as they grow old
Yeah, but after Ellie died Carl had no one by his side for years(before Russel came) so by having someone to at least visit him he wouldn't be so sad
A i m a n if they had a child they would probably not go to paradise falls but they might when the child grows up

Jillian Katie you made me cry awwww that's so sweet rip

Nothing is worse then the feeling of when you’re watching the happy part happen knowing that that happiness is going to vanish.

Anybody noticed that when they were getting married, so much people were there, but when Ellie died nobody was there to comfort the husband.. that just goes to show yo
Maybe they were dead already
He could have stayed after the funeral if you ever been to a funeral you will know that the closest love ones will stay after
When you grow old sometimes all of your friends die and that's why that particular scene where he's at the funeral is sad because all his friends are deceased
Thats messed up
Maybe theyre already gone home?
someday i’ll find a girl to love eternally. And we’ll be together forever

I like how the song goes happy at first then sad for 1 second and back to happy but then immediatly to sad again and happy and then sadder and just saddest.

See that's the worst thing about death, is that it hits you smack bang in ur face like a wall and it sticks with you and you have to try and hammer it down thinking of all the positive times thats you have ecpirenced. (Rip Granddad, died last year in his sleep with his favorite book in his hand and on his favorite chair and thing reminded me of him )
Rest In Peace dude

It’s funny that up made all of us cry over characters we knew for what? 5, 10 minutes?
So true...
pixar showed us the cycle of life and having someone you love so dearly leave. :(
Lol
this is the only part where my parents understood the movie because they don’t really understand english..
same
You could say they got a *potato life*

ling - shan lmao
That is both amazing and sad. The piece of music and the movie conveyed the emotion so clearly, and thats beautiful. But the fact that your parents only see Up as a sad movie is sad.
Then again, everyone bases their opinion off of this one score anyways, so idk
This hits different especially when you're a teenager now
Ik, I felt like rewatching it for some nostalgic fun and then I end up tearing up.

No matter how hard I try I just can’t cry while watching sad things.
Pyromania it will come maybe not now but it will later you just don’t get it when your young but when your older you will understand.
Me too bruh
Same I say I cried but I'm crying o. The inside...wait the only time I cried was when I listened to my great uncles funeral songs(backstory) my evil step mom didn't let me go see him as "punishment" in stead I only got to message him before they unplugged him also I didn't go to the funeral.
Same. I feel the pain on the inside, but I don't end up crying
same, I feel really sad on the inside tho. there's nothing wrong with not crying to it but if you don't feel sad watching it, that's a whole nother story.
I cried to this and I never cry to things like this
SAME GODFUCKINGDAMMIT. I HATE CRYING. And this movie just does something to me!
UGH! I KNOW! This movie!!!!!!!!! GAH! I NEVER CRY! but...
Lol I never cry to things like this... and I still don’t cry at this lmao
El mejor flashback en la historia de Disney Pixar sin lugar a discusiones.
My grandfather is grateful to have all these wonderful things in his life, just like how Carl does.
what i'm not crying you're crying
You're right, I am
I’d literally watch a whole movie about their whole love life
