    Thank you very much for this tutorial suite on cinema 4d. I do not regret my purchase.
    Have you discussed the different types of lighting in 4d cinema?
    A big thank you to the trainer, he is just brilliant in these explanations.

    Huh, never thought about using volumetric for this kind of thing. I always thought SSS for objects, volume for fog & cloud.
    Very interesting indeed, definitely learned something new. Very great tutorials man, hopefully SSS is next.

      Thank you for the feedback, glad you found it useful! For SSS, we won't dive into that in this particular series, as it is getting into more specific and less common material types, we'll save that for things like "How to make a good wax material" and other examples where things like SSS would come into play.     I'm so glad you keep making the new videos for us, I'm so grateful for it! Hope to see more videos soon. Thank you. Also I have a question about Material Library = are you going to update all meterials to the Physical Model? I noticed a lot of "old" materials are in the material library, or at least an option to show only Legacy Materials or only Physical

      Thank you for the feedback, glad you are enjoying the videos, and we plan on keeping a fast pace of delivering new ones :) At some point the materials should be swapped to the new Physical, perhaps as part of moving the Corona Material Library into Cosmos instead (due in Corona 9 if all goes according to plan), we shall see as 9 continues development.     great , hot to create Volumetric Spotlight Corona for Cinema 4D

      With Corona it is best to approach it like you would in real life. You take a light with a higher directionality setting and you point it at a room where there's noticeable volumetric properties.
      So create a Corona Volume Material, place it into the Global Volume override slot (or place it on a mesh that encompasses the desired area) and then create a Corona Light and up it's directionality parameter a bit.
      Unfortunately we don't have any Cinema 4D tutorials available on the topic yet but if you follow along this series (ruclips.net/video/68m776w7loU/видео.html) it will hopefully get you going in the right direction. Nejc

    Thanks for that, but I really hope to see something more in depth on this. I couldn't figure out what does the Directionality field, very weird behavior.

      Dully noted and thank you for letting us know!
      To offer a nugget of extra information, the directionality parameter mainly controls the direction in which the light scatters. It can scatter evenly on all sides when the parameter is set to 0 and positive values make it scatter forwards along the same path it was already traveling. Negative values make it scatter backwards along the path it was traveling.
      Hope that clarifies it at least a little bit. If not then you're always welcome to start a new topic on our forums (forum.corona-renderer.com/) where we can share screenshots and go more into detail. Nejc
