@@Myview246 the marriage broke-up, which means he most likely couldn't provide at the time so they divorced. Child custody, if you didn't know, is biased towards the mother most of the time. The idea that "he would be better off without me" is highly likely. Also, he was a circus performer, it's most likely that circus on the way out at the time of divorce, which made it tougher. Finally, a father never forgets about a son (unless they actually have brain issues like dementia). He was only informed that his son, with a different name, was a billionaire. He was already dying, so money doesn't exactly matter anymore when he found out. It's not like he was a drunkard, a criminal, a drug addict, a womanizer who was divorced 5 times or any of that sort (as far as it seems). Seemed like he made an honest living remarrying only once. If I was Jeff, I would at least hear his side, especially if I knew he was dying, cause it would most likely be the last time I would see him alive. For crying out loud, Jeff Bezos himself is also divorced.

His laugh at the end, it was just a small laugh but the way they laugh and the expression is actually exactly the same. Didn’t expect that considering they didn’t grow up together.
As sad as it is, don’t let an old man’s regrets fool you. He said it himself, he used to change his diapers. That was his boy, his own flesh and blood and he never bothering staying in his life. It takes an incredibly callous man to walk away from his baby son like that. Jeff owed him nothing. I personally don’t think there’s a wrong choice in this. Whatever Jeff decided was the right choice because ultimately it’s his decision and his life. I do think it would have been nice if he did see him, just to see his biological roots, but I’m not Jeff Bezos.
Shame on anyone of you who thinks Ted had ulterior motive. Decades ago, Ted didn't abandon Jeff. His mother divorced Ted and was automatically granted primary custody of the 2yo (it's far easier for the mother to gain custody of an infant, go check your country's law!). His mother forbade Ted to keep in touch, went off to another state and married a hose and changed Jeff's last name, effectively erasing Ted out from Jeff's life. That is the work of an evil woman. Whatever marital problems she had with Ted, that has nothing to do with the relationship between Ted and Jeff. She had no right to deny that father-son relationship. She intentionally erased the memory of Ted so that her second marriage has a better chance of success. A very very selfish and evil woman. The old man Ted was nearing death. All he wanted was to see his son again and to hear him call out 'dad'. It's no different than Darth Vader wanted his helmet removed so that he can see Luke with his own eyes. Ted just wanted to say "No, I am your father". Jeff is such a scumbag. He will forever be a bastard son wearing that Bozo name and denying his Jorgensen origin.
In any other context, this man would be considered a success. Owns a business, lives in a decent house. But to inside edistion he;'s an obscure failure. Talk about disconnect.
Marcia Marcia ok true? But he said at the time he thought it was the right decision doesn’t mean he made the right decision. But I guess over the years as he became older he realize it was the wrong decision and he regretted that decision. I’m sure at the time he was selfish But I can’t blame him to much because he was just a kid himself, still developing.
Rahma Awil it was a very different time, people didn’t fight for custody like they do now. divorce was looked at in a different way and the women almost always had custody of the children without help from the father. it was kinda always expected to go that way.

His laugh at the end, it was just a small laugh but the way they laugh and the expression is actually exactly the same. Didn’t expect that considering they didn’t grow up together.
🤣🤣🤣

Nothing to be happy about if he's becoming richer the world is becoming more poor lol

Shame this emotional comment didn't get many likes. You even went ahead and placed Vader in there

I literally hate Jeff since a long time ago with various reasons. It's one of them!
You know all the inside stuff of the family...you might be related to jeff's family or something
@@AF911vids i wish i'm related to Jeff as I'd be filthy rich. I'd be a super mega sugar momma, lol. But no, I read all these on the news.
At least he wasn’t a gold digger dad that only wanted to contact his son just for money like almost any other dad would do
Wow you’re just gonna assume that??
that's quite a big leap
Not any other dad . Some would but not all . Don't be like that
Nothing wrong to get 0.00001 percent of his sons wealth, his dna juice was the reason why Jeff came to this world

In any other context, this man would be considered a success. Owns a business, lives in a decent house. But to inside edistion he;'s an obscure failure. Talk about disconnect.
Let's throw the meaning of success to the toilet
Can’t blame him he was just a teenager when he gave up custody
Sichael Mcott true but why he didn’t go after
Your username made me chuckle.
Maddie Um I took on my eldest son when I was 19. I was there since he was 3 weeks old. It had nothing to do with societal norms. It has to do with your personal values.

@@adil0028 uhh no, not really. E-Commerce was already a thing long before Amazon existed and so was online shipping. If anything, E-bay did more for the E-Commerce boom than Amazon. Try again.
