Torino 22 is miles better. 21 is sharp lemon sour frag. 22 is beautiful. Imo

Torino 21 was the best fragrance I purchased in 22. I keep reaching for it and it's become my signature scent. Look forward to trying Torino 22 in 23. LOL.

I discovered Torino 21 earlier this year when I purchased a bottle of Naxos and Xerjoff threw in a free 15 ml bottle of Torino 21 (which BTW is a very cool miniature version of their larger bottles). It is a very nice spearmint scent with a cooling effect making it great for hot weather. Most RUclips reviewers didn't seem to discover it until the fall season. I purchased a larger 50 ml bottle later from a discounter.
T22 is the more exciting choice for me. I love the combination of saffron and mate. With T21, I do not like the drydown, reminds me too much of fabric softener.
Torino21 was one of my favorite warm weather fragrance pickups from 2022. I’ll definitely be sampling Torino22. I’ve heard some others comparing it to BR540.

Xerjoff "Naxos" is the only Xerjoff fragrance I've tried so far. I truly enjoy it and I'm glad to have a bottle of it. I hope to sample a lot of their other fragrances and I'll put these two on my list to sample first.
I was looking forward to try Torino22 because I have a bottle of Torino21 and I love it. The note profile of Torino22 made me question if I would like it though. But when I tried it, I actually really liked it. I think Torino21, Torino22 and Renaissance are all great! I want all three of them in my collection 😊
I love Torino 21 too. It is fairly masculine leaning, but it’s so beautiful it doesn’t matter. It’s still perfect for women ❤ - kind of like Jo Malone Lime Basil Mandarin, one of those masculine scents that really appeals to women too. Very fresh and cooling for a hot summer day. I would like to try the 22, but the maté smell as a tea doesn’t actual appeal to me. So not sure what I will think …
My bottle arrived yesterday and I couldn’t stop smelling my hand!!! It’s different than 21 (I had to mentally prepare myself to not expect a slight tweak on 21), it’s deeper, not as citrusy, but it’s another gem, IMHO 😉. I haven’t smelled the original, so can’t compare them.
You inspired me to an impulse buy, albeit a modest one: I just ordered myself two "farewell" sample vials of Torino 21. I won't be repeating that, because if I'm going to keep buying samples, after all, I might as well just go ahead and buy a full bottle. Interestingly, I tried to order three at Lucky Scent but they would only let me buy two (running out?). So I will enjoy these last two samples to the max and then let it be a happy memory. 🙂
I had a sample of Torino 21, thanks to your reviews of it, and, yes, it was simply breathtaking. A rather expensive scent to buy full bottle, though. But it's on my "dream list." And then I worry it will disappear since they update it every year. So I'm really intrigued to see what you'll say about the 22 version.
My husband loves Torino 21 and wears it everyday. I prefer Italica from Xerjoff but I wonder if he will like the new Torino 22? He might.
OMG TORINO 21 is my absolute fav of all time so far! Great and easy daily grab - super anxious for torino 22 havent found it anywhere to smell in person - i may be in trouble though because of how much I love torino21- youre the best! Both great scents but I prefer 22 all day
21 is too sour. Rather have mancera cedrat boise. Now 22 is creamer...smoother not as sharp. Better
Torino 21 is best in all Xerjoff series. Initial projection is crazy.
I always wanted to smell Torino21 but never had the chance and when I finally got to visit their boutique it wasn't anymore available, but the new one hadn't come out yet. I hope I will get the chance to smell Torino22 soon.

T21 is very nice. I do notice that it doesn’t change drastically meaning it stays the same longer meaning the dry down is more like the opening but less. Need to try it and let me know.
Yes, what you're saying about the maté note makes perfect sense. I've tried the tea and that "roughness" turns me off. I am immediately wary of any fragrance that includes a maté note.
Never tried any of them, but I'm not in my citrus phase right now, I like citrus fragrances but not now. I'm more interested in trying Monkey Special and Cruz del Sur II than these two, anyway thanks for the review Sebastian!!!
Monkey Special is my favorite cold weather scent from Xerjoff. If you’re not into strong citruses atm, you might really enjoy 22.

21 is much, much better....I bought two bottles. Wish I had sampled 22 before buying a full bottle. It's not good at all for a wearable perfume. it's polarizing.

Sebastian, I love your videos snd your honesty about the fragrances. Also, I agree about the redundancy of perfumes, and not just Torino 2021. Even though my opinion doesn’t really matter as I am not an expert nor a reviewer, but if I were a betting person, I would bet I have been a fragrance junkie longer than any one else on this blog or any others. However, I will defer to Sebastian for reviews and expert opinions.
yeah I was surprised too to see the notes published for a JTC fragrance. I hope one day they will release the note breakdown for all the JTC fragrances...it would be super interesting to then see if one got the assumed notes right and whether or not the unofficial notes on fragrantice for example would turn out to be true:)
I haven't even tried Torino 21 and now Torino 22? I like the notes for it. I'm with you though I don't care much for maté but willing to try it to see.

I ordered a sample of Torino21 from Twisted Lily on Cyber Monday and still haven't received it. Hopefully I get to try it the next few days.
Citrusy fragrances are a big NO for me,unless it's something like Nio,that I like a lot
Got Torino 21 and like it a lot but not as much as Dhofar (discontinued), Starlight, Ivory Route or Zefiro which no-one seems to talk about.

Saffron... I am scared bc i don't like baccarat rouge (yes, I said it...) - makes me gag. But does it smell different in different perfumes? It seems to be an ingredient a lot of fragrances have these days. Would be interesting to see a video with this note featured :-)
Torino 22 btw has a very Baccarat dry down.
Thanks to you my hubby and I love Torino 21 and wore so much of it. We almost went through a full bottle during the summer season. But I don't want another similar fragrance though if you think they smell similar?
They are not identical but they do remind me of one another. You will have to put your nose on it though to see.
Will you make a video for that specific scent made for a groom in his early 40's for a wedding in May with a great purchasing price?......

Oh not Paragon? There's no plum in Torino22? No way. I don't get fruits in Torino22 and Paragon is a plum bomb!
I like tea and drink a lot of it, but matè is definitely my least favorite, and I do not like how it smells either. It's very sharp and weird. If I want a tea note, I really want a green tea like a matcha or gyokuro scent.

Renaissance was to be my first freshy Xerjoff but not sure now....
Despite the citrusy opening, for me Torino 22 dry-drown is really similar to Baccarat Rouge 540 (at least on my skin). As I do not like BR540, i just did not like Torino 22.

For some treason, I've never tried Torino 21, even though I visit the Xerjoff boutique quite a bit. I'll try both next time I'm at the boutique.

Several years? They're milking this. I have 21 - it was a stellar release. All the others are going to be just slight variations on a theme. Sort of niche flankers.

From what I remember I know it will go for a while but I'm not sure for how long. Torino21 is great but if you have Torino21 you might not need Torino22. That's just my opinion. And I do enjoy Torino21 more than Torino22! :)
Just a friendly reminder, XERJOFF is the Silver partner for the @nittoatpfinals NITTO ATP ( Association of Tennis Professionals ) Finals to be held in Turin from 2021-2025. The notes for this JTC were revealed because of the Nitto ATP Finals only, and each offering has a DNA backbone, but they are not the same whatsoever; Xerjoff will make Torino 21, Torino22, Torino23, Torino24, and Torino25; it's like it happens with Coffee Break Collection with Golden Moka, Golden Dallas, and Golden Green so far, this collection will have six offerings which mean three offerings will be added to the Coffee Break collection in the years to come.
Torino22 gives me warm vibes thanks to the saffron, a bittersweet and spicy accord, like a burnt caramel, but it disappears quickly to let the leafy green nuances of herbs take the lead of the perfume, especially when you are outdoors.
With Coffee Break Collection, the backbone DNA is Saffron/ Oud / Coffee in each offering is the same, but each offering has different supportive notes, same with The Nitto ATP Finals collection.
