Great video! I've been interested in JTC 400, I recently bought Ivory Route, and love it, also from the JTC collection. I own Naxos, so if 400 smells anything like Naxos, I know I like it off a blind buy.
I have only sampled around 15 fragrances from Xerjoff, but Naxos is still my favorite, so if JTC 400 has a similar vibe, but more flowery then I definitely must try it out. Thank you for the video!

It sounds like maybe one is a bit more feminine (400) and Naxos stays Unisex because it is almost a Amber/Fougere with the lavender note...They both sound great! And Xerjoff is one of those houses that are sooo great at making those sweet, gourmand or almost gourmand fragrances! I mean - they are worth the money! Thank you for sharing this comparison video! xoxox

JTC 400 used to be exclusive in Selfridges and its 100ml is still exclusive there
Selfridges does not sell the 100ml bottle anymore.
Mmm tobacco flower... there was this fragrance I used regularly back in the day called Tobacco Flower from The Body Shop out of all places. Super yummi!
I just picked up Comandante by Xerjoff also part of the JTC collection . It’s heavily underrated idk why. It also has tobacco and honey and vanilla with red fruits. It goes towards that Naxos vibe but it’s totally different.

Comandante is a great fragrance. Cherry, honey, tobacco is what I get. It doesn’t perform the best, but I just spray more and it’s absolutely great.

I get same vibe as Naxos with JTC 400( maybe 60-70% similar to Naxos). I blind bought 400 and was worried about white flowers but 400 surprised me smells unique and complex some say that lean little bit feminine but i think it's totally UNISEX! The longevity man 12+ hours on skin!

Sounds worth a try. Unfortunately a lot will have a negative opinion of Xerjoff because of all the blatant fakes sold on ebay.
An excellent honey tobacco fragrance to get your nose on is Beverly Hills Exclusive by the house of Unique'e Luxury. The house actually has quite a few great fragrances and a delicious caramel and patchouli fragrance called Crush on Me that I think you'd enjoy Sebastian.
JTC 400 is great - massive ylang and that xerjoff tobacco, but flower in this, can't say I get any ashiness. Picked this up in 19 as a Selfridges exclusive. Great scent, great scent. Some will say leans femme, but really nice. Vastly different from Naxos, a little tobacco DNA, but that's it.
Referring to yesterday's video I would love to see a series about famous "Nez" Perfume creators and their career, best fragrances and cheapies created by them

I've never noticed any similarity. They smell very different to me. 400 is powdery as well.
400 is absolute fire. I love the feminine/masculine dichotomy.

This Hass to be my favorite house, I have over 30 bottles but unfortunately I’ve never had the opportunity to get my nose on 400.

for me 400 is far better than naxos in longevity & projection but with the price of 100 ml naxos i get 50 ml of 400, so i use naxos more hah / one thing about 400 for a reason Orange Mauresque from Chopard got same vibes as 400 on me, same feeling not the same but those 2 got similarites one with the other

I know someone who wears naxos daily. Havent sampled it myself but oh boy it does NOT smell good when he wears it. I'm afraid he oversprays it a lot and reapplies every few hours - he actually carries the entire bottle with him in his jacket at all times. And when he visits and sprays, our entire house smells like naxos and it just reminds me of public toilets here in Germany and the chemicals they use to clean...
Definetly wanna give it a try but I'm afraid he ruined the fragrance for me.
Tobacco and/or smokey fragrances are great but I can't get into any fragrance that smells like cigarettes. Just my take.
I got a sample of 400 and I totally love it. Normally o wouldn't go for a tobacco scent and I like feminine/neutral scents but I can't stop sniffing my arm ❤️.

Would you say that JTC 400 is unisex?
It's unisex but it might lean femme to some. Although I think the tobacco touches balances it out to make it more unisex! Try before you buy though! :)
I guess it is the old formula of JTC 400? One of the fragrances that need to be reworked due to the ban on the sale of the ingredient "Lilial" in the EU. 400 was heavily discounted in the last few days here, same as Apollonia.
Edit: Naxos also under rework btw :D
Lilial has been restricted by IFRA for ages now. There are many lilial and lyral replacers now that the reworks don’t seem to be far off. So I wouldn’t be too alarmed….hopefully.
