    Hi Paul - Good progress on the track laying and I love the paint rack . I too had good service from DCC Concepts and I am always happy to use them. Nice to see the trains running at the end.
    Cheers Kev

      Thank you Kev, it is always nice to find a manufacturer that stands by there work. Indeed when a few years back Hornby really messed up with me, one man sorted t all out way beyond what was needed, sadly no longer with us, he was a great credit to Hornby, cheers P

    You need to use trackseta jigs in the three radi you require.

    I would number the space and the bottle as well. Great space saving.

    Hi Paul, Layouts coming along nicely, just a thought have you tried Golden Valley Hobbies, they do adjustable gauges you can use to space the track and set each track parallel to each other, you get two in each pack. I struggled with track spacing and I found them ideal. I'm sure somewhere on youtube there some info. Keep up the good work Richard

    Dear Paul, very nice paint shelving you made there. Love the idea of the white doorstopper strips at the front as a way to display the true swaths of color of the bottles behind it. Cool to see how the shallow cabinet improves the access on your workbench.
    Always a bummer when one tries out fav locos and rolling stock on turnouts already tested with the foolproof equipment and a derailment occurs. Great to hear your friend was able to help and locate the problem accurately. Must have been a relief.
    Anyhow, love the progress on the incline, slowly but steadily getting there. Curious for next episode. Cheerio

    Great paint rack, and really does help organise them. I made a smaller version a while ago, but need to be disciplined in putting them away, lol. My work desk is... well. Say no more.
    Enjoyed seeing your trains run.

    Hi Paul, i have used PVA on all my cork, works great and cheap in a 5 litre, just need to apply to both surfaces. I also use it to lay the track but I know many use copydex.

    • @Sandlingjunction
      @Sandlingjunction  11 месяцев назад

      Yes should have used PVA, I tend not to on track to find copydex easier to lift if needed. cheers P

    @Sandling Junction - paint the lids of the paint, then it doesn't matter where you put them back :)
    Peachey Models is a commission painting service in Cambridge - would love to see some 40k content :D

      @@Sandlingjunction I get you… I have filling drawers sorted by colour.
      you could prime them all the same colour, or white, grey and black to show the paint over those primed colours.
