In today's video, I'll go over 5 Things I Love and 5 Things I Hate in SnowRunner. Overall, I think SnowRunner is a great game, but it could use some improvements. Let me know what you love and hate about SnowRunner in the comments!

One of the most ridiculous things is how we can't clear the debris off roads. We can somehow delete giant boulders by delivering service spare parts to them but can't permanently push some tiny pebbles off the side of the road.
I completely agree! That is possible with a truck, but it resets whenever you leave the map. Thank you for commenting!
I really wish they would remove the road construction signs as they are nothing but a HUGE pain along with the little rocks on the road, exposed tree roots in the mud and tree limbs that always seem to snag you and won't let you go!!

The high(er) speed on roads thing really annoys me! It’s how you can drive around for miles and miles off road and take no damage doing it, then you drive on a paved road surface and run over a stick or tiny stone and it damages your suspension or tyres. Fair enough if you hit a big boulder damage is to be expected but small sticks or stones…
I’d love to see repeatable missions on all maps too. Once you complete a region that’s pretty much it. There’s nothing to do there anymore. If even certain missions were repeatable it’d give the old maps/regions a purpose still. They could even add random pick up/drop off or recovery type missions to the maps after you complete the main missions, just to keep it interesting.
Still a great game though!
Have you not heard of New Game + mode???? 😂 Make yourself a custom game with tons of setting controls. You can unlock every truck for any map, unlock all parts from the start, give yourself level 10 20 or 30 rank, start with 500k, make all the missions 50%, 100% 200% or 300% payouts... Endless possibilities. And too, the vast majority of regions have unlimited supplies or a way to craft more supplies. Just make up your own contracts dude. And just use the money mod to drop yourself 10k or whatever you want for completion.

I'm not sure about, the physics. You could be speeding down a bush road, in a heavy hauler, and a tiny little branch snags ya and sends you flying back. That doesn't necessarily seem like physics.
I agree. I think the offroad physics are great, asphalt physics could (have to) be improved 😉
Repetitive missions is my biggest beef. Im doing the Yukon flooded foot hills.... That drive from the warehouse to the rail yard and then the goldine is getting pretty tedious !!
I hate that when your close to deliver your materials they always fall
Great video, but just my feedback - change the subtitles/text. It keeps breaking up the sentences and the box appearing and disappearing all the time is very annoying. Otherwise, good stuf my man!

The one thing I dislike about this game is, even though one can can have sufficent rank and fund's to afford a purchase any truck and it's avaible upgrade's. One can not purchase a particular add on, they would desire. Not alway's but on occasion, one has to purchase a truck, they don't want. In which sometime's the add on will then fit on the truck they do want. Or get that one has to either subscribe too or add manually. Which may or may not work anyway's.
In the real world, having sufficent fund's, I can purchase any truck and any add on's that I desire the truck to be capable of doing what I want a particular truck to do.
Wanting a mini crane in the back of the sideboard, rather than it being in the front, directly behind the cab. Is a plus, with and when one purchase's a truck, with the purpose of pulling additional trailer's. If not, then behind the cab is sufficent.
And then there's "MOD.IO", are they not supposed to regulate the various mod's, they make available. Having mod's that are one or more generation's older than the version being played is assinine.

uh dont know if i should buy or not, played american truck sim and its boring in the long run and nothing happens.
I definitely recommend it! I may be biased but I think it's a great game and has plenty of content to keep you entertained!

Things I hate in SR, auto switching to 3rd person view in water, the pointless high gear, to many winch points on trucks, should be ether front or rear with a purchasable 2nd winch point front or rear & none on any trailers. The damage thresholds are stupid, i've driven large (mainly ex Soviet) trucks in nasty off road terrain they do NOT break, SR trucks are made from tinfoil & chewing gum it's ridiculous
Hard (🤣😂🤣) mode should be actually HARD & not just financially inhibiting, no 3rd person whilst driving, no waypoints, no map markers whilst driving, watchtowers reveal 50% less of map leaving unrevealed areas, less engine upgrades, no active suspension & a limit of 5 trucks across all maps at any one time with no cost to move trucks to next region once 75% completion of a region

Agree with almost everything here except customization of the driver. Yeah, sorry, but no one cares about that. You're literally the only person I've ever heard ask for that in the 2+yrs I've been playing and active on numerous FB and Discord pages 😂
One small thing, also, while I certainly agree the paved road physics at speed is indeed garbage, I think the devs tried simulating the lack of grip a truck has if using any form of off-road tire. I speak from experience on that matter too. But, Saber definitely over did that aspect. The damage aspect in the game is broken too. Luckily, there's New Game+ and one of the settings let's you turn damage off. As replayability goes...again, New Game+ mode. Start with $500k, all vehicles and parts unlocked, rank 10 20 or 30, increase payouts up to 3x or make everything free etc etc. And...this game has mods! Just use the money truck/trailers mod and drop yourself whatever you need to get started. THAT'S your replay value man. I'm workin on my 4th playthrough; 3rd custom run.

Yeah, high speed driving is awful. Especially when you play hardcore and you have to repair all the trucks manually.

What I hate is six months worth of hype and anticipation for a download that wrecked the entire game. Season 10 download has disabled my Logitech steering wheel for the ENTIRE game. 100’s of useless videos and 100’s of hours of hype and testing. Not one person noticed this HUGE glitch? I found out the hard way, at the cost of $7.00. Thanks for nothing a$$holes. Game over, for me.
