See I think there's more to that in that November is usually when the cold or winter is in full force. I figured he was going with the bar that you're four times weak being ice and something else.

Mat4yo has had a solid pen (though I think he's leveled that up recently too). I think his biggest weakness was that his deliveries weren't always the coolest. Like there are some dudes you can just hear how much of a nerd they are in their delivery. But Matt has stepped his up by a lot since I first hear him.

Well its nerdcore, you can't really have a Nerdcore scene without Somebody like Mat4yo who is on the nerdier side, if everyone rapped like Ty Wild it would still be fun to listen to but you would miss the variety pretty quick

8:40 so the pokemon shown on that b sharp bar is called bisharp its a play on the word bishop and yes its a chess reference as well as a key stone being used in mega evolution which was the main gimmick of the game/season that that character came from, also the “a be sweeping to XYZ” is a reference to said games pokemon x and pokemon Y and the lengedarys representing the letters x, y and Z

There is a song I really don't think you've ever checked out, Daddyphatsnap's Todoroki song called "Frostbite." I know it's really old, but it features Gameboy and Cam and I think Cam went absolutely crazy on it. It's worth a check out.

That last “ember 4 times weak” bar is a reference to the types. The steel and bug types are 4 times weak to the fire type.

Is an ABSOLUTE BAR if you know Pokémon.
You see, in the game, you do 2x the damage if your attack is super effective. This depends on the “type” of your attack and the “type” your opponent is.
Ember is a “fire” move. And he says that you are 4x weak. That is the maximum multiplier to damage because a Pokémon can only have 2 types, and if each is weak, then you get both 2x multipliers, which gives you 4x weak.
You wanna know the best part..?
The only types weak to fire are Bug Grass Ice and Steel.
This is basically saying that you are two of these types at once, and all of them are HORRIBLE type combinations.
So it’s saying that you, at your core, suck, and that his fire, his raps, are super effective against you.
Ok Grass/Steel is pretty good, but, even then, your still 4x weak to one of the best offensive types, Fire.

Cam has a weird style of Cyphers. He doesn't like long Cyphers he likes short and quick verses. Also you missed one of my favorite lines in this Cypher! Rustage said "They been Hoenn for me cause I'm quite the man" Basically the region Rustage's character is from is called the hoenn region. And... yeah you get the rest.

It’s crazy that Ty Wild is able to consistently steal the show with his features, but I never really hear anyone talk about his own stuff. It might be because I’m on the wrong side of nerdcore (Mainly Rustage, Shwabadi, DPS, and HalaCG), but his features are on a tier of their own lol

Mat4yo is a rapper I think you've managed to like quite a few times on his cypher appearances, but because you don't hear him consistently he hasn't stuck with you quite as much. He's a very good writer but produces a lot of rhymes and bars that, while layered, tend to be packed more with references that are much likelier to be appreciated by those in the know.
