Scru you know rapping, but you don't know Pokemon like the target audience and they aren't here for just battle rap. Like954Mari's bars are a good example. You weren't impressed because "they're not that hard to get", but you didn't. A couple examples: -Kommo-o's abilities are soundproof, bulletproof, and overcoat, so "Your sounds don't phase me, your bullets just graze me" and "Overcoat, weather the raining attacks from so and so's" aren't just for talk. -Overcoat makes the pokemon not take damage from weather attacks like hailstorm also. -"I seek strong opponents" and "rings shimmer to the tip of tail" is referencing a pokedex entry ngl, it feels like someone's reacting to an Eminem single and them going "it's a'ight" after. Not in the scope, but definitely in the spirit of it.
That's the point, isn't it? Scru's personal opinion is that nerdcore rap bars should be understood by anyone who listens to it, even if it contains a reference. Like bars should work on their own without considering the media it's referencing, but if you happen to know the media then you become aware of its deeper meaning. The problem with Mari's bars is that they don't work unless you played Pokemon, or played the specific Pokemon game it appears in.
Your last sentence isn't a problem, that's the point. Bars can definitely be average, but good rap bars never just work on their own. Mainstream or otherwise, you have to know something about something or it just sounds like talking and you miss it. Nerdcore just adds another topic to the list where you gotta know the source material or you think they're just words like Scru did with Mari's verse. Ignorance of a bar speaks volumes, just not about the bar. If you watch Shwabadi's reactions he'll sometimes say something like 'I know there's something I'm missing in this verse' and check later; that's a great way to approach not knowing the bar. Regardless the goal was reached at the end of the day. These bars are what Cam and crew wanted to make and the target audience is happy because they catch 'em all.
Still waiting for that Ham Sandwich ronin reaction. Also Shwabadi dropped a live action music video for his ranking of kings rap where he shows his face so you might wanna peeep that.

Scru you know rapping, but you don't know Pokemon like the target audience and they aren't here for just battle rap. Like954Mari's bars are a good example. You weren't impressed because "they're not that hard to get", but you didn't. A couple examples:
-Kommo-o's abilities are soundproof, bulletproof, and overcoat, so "Your sounds don't phase me, your bullets just graze me" and "Overcoat, weather the raining attacks from so and so's" aren't just for talk.
-Overcoat makes the pokemon not take damage from weather attacks like hailstorm also.
-"I seek strong opponents" and "rings shimmer to the tip of tail" is referencing a pokedex entry
ngl, it feels like someone's reacting to an Eminem single and them going "it's a'ight" after.
Took til my fourth listen to realize the Tyranitar 2 4 8 bar references its number in the Pokedex, 248.
Good lord that segment was such hot fire
Screw! I need you too take a look at "This is war 7"! Frivolousshara is on there she go crazy my boy
I've been waiting for dis
This was definitely a Breeton Boi pops off moment xD I can't dislike any of the verses but some of breetons bars gave me goose bumps on first listen
U-Turn is a bug type move in pokemon.
I love the Shaggy (Scooby Doo) t-shirt!
Love this guy
Need to react to Connor quest “rhyme alchemy” it’s not an anime rap just an anime amv, and Connor snaps
U turn is a bug type move and the pokemon the breeton rapped as is a dragon/ghost type
Chech out hams album ronin
3:46 That rapper Drake bar was crazy!
Still waiting for that Ham Sandwich ronin reaction. Also Shwabadi dropped a live action music video for his ranking of kings rap where he shows his face so you might wanna peeep that.
Yes Dragpult is a Dragon/Ghost Type
Overcoat is an ability
You gotta get on GBJ’s psychic cypher
Nah but what you missed with kommo-o is his two in game abilities are soundproof and bullet proof
you really should check out diggz's spiderman villains cypher its so dope and so many peeps put work into it it goes mad crazy
also dunno how you sayin breeton had the best verse when diggz's metagross had you screamin at least 3 times, man even had the robotic flow down, and the clear body was a double entendre for his in game ability and how singles are fought 3v3 lolol
Thank you bro
@@diggzdaprophecy np bro, keep up the great work
I cried listening to this. I don't know why but this hydra keeps getting ahead and ahead and ahead hit different for me
U-turn is a bug type move
U turn is a bug type move
Scru face if cam steady is going to a gym leader cypher bet you would rock as Brock
I think they put Breeton Boi last on this cypher so he could shine unopposed. In the Pokemon Champion Cypher, Breeton had an amazing verse, but he was immediately followed by Dan Bull, so how good his verse was got lost. This let you see how good Breeton can be.
I liked his verse, but I didn't like his as much as some others in this one. Breeton did great as Kukui though
Yeah for 954 that was pretty light.
Consider the beat too bro , Mari would never pick this on his own
@@BlvkDivmonds That's true but still man on a pure pen level he wasn't really saying anything. It fits the demand of the cypher where they're damn near advertising the pokemon but this style of nerdcore never really works for me anyway.
@@Isaiah_McIntosh they was going for a tropical theme
It wasn’t light there was more beneath the surface you didn’t catch
@@Isaiah_McIntosh None of the references are purely surface level every little word is always deeper than you assume even the description ones
There’s more to those bars buried beneath the surface than what you assume
Each Pokémon has a theme 954’s had a laid back tropical theme
This was a good reaction.
Can you react to OmarCameUp “back to the basics” or any song off his redemption arc deluxe album? We need to finally get some Omar on this channel, he’s part of Cypher Gang with Pe$o and shofu and them, he’s also one of the most fire producers, he produced most of the beats on the pokemon cypher, most of his music is on spotify but I think his redemption arc EP is on youtube and he just came out with the deluxe which is FIRE 🔥
Robin Hood vs Guy Fawkes would make a great video.
So sad you paused on the "komo'o, totem pole, overcoat, so and sos" bars. Honestly one of the best schemes in the cypher
"Been an infiltrator run up on you in your own home" 💀💀
Scru you should check out Mir Blackwell, Ty Wild, and Peso Pete- Never Ending Story
Gameboyjones’ psychics of anime cypher
Breeton’s new age yakuza cypher 👌
You should react to the psychics of anime cypher by Gameboy Jones they all snapped on that
248 is also tyranitars dex number I'm pretty sure
Horn Drill and I miss
I think you should react to some more Breeton cuz he be punchin like this in every song
the culture need this JID album reaction expeditiously
You trying to react to Robin Hood vs Guy Fawkes Freshy Kanal?
You need to see gameboyjones’s three sword style in the cut video it is sick
Should definitely react to cam steady deoxys rap song forme switch ft. Peso pete
I mean, let's face it, 90% of rappers are talking complete fantasy when they rap about guns, cars and/or the opposite sex.
React to Jacob Cass Jujutsu Kaisen cypher, it's truly a contender for song of the year.
"You can look at charizard and know what he is"
Yah... I mean charizard is totally a dragon right...right?
You missed two previous cam steady songs scru ft peso Pete and Connor quest
Yeah the one that rap dragapult had the best rap no cap
Scru one of my favs, but is it just me or does he have something against Connor Quest?
You need to check out Dan bulls gears of war rap or golden emps frieza family rap both are 🔥🔥🔥
Did anyone catch the 248 bar reference?
You gotta react to the Deoxys Rap my boy
React to shwabadis live performances
Hope you can react to Robin Hood Vs Guy Fawkes
Day 2 of asking for dizzyeight "gang activity"
You've got to check out Connor Quest's Rhyme Alchemist, it's not a nerdcore song
How do you grow wings
Do you react to camsteady rap battles??
Why is this not on the main channel?
shell to his ass like a slowbro not tooooo crazy considering kez said that in the 2019 Pokémon cypher 😬
"i put shells to his back like he slowbro" that line was legendary
@@davex7755 cant forget the “eughhh” to finish the line
I had no idea Kez said this line before. Shout out to him
@@diggzdaprophecy pokemon cypher 2019. i recommend watching it, it's easily one of the best cyphers of all time
Day 2 of asking for delta deez “who raised you” rap
10:58 Who turned out the lights? 🤤
Lol nah Dragonite do go harder than charzard, don't fuck with pseudo legendaries dude
Ash has both
Yeah Goodra’s verse was pretty lackluster, not sure what happened there
Bro please react to jamar rose unlimited
Don't disrest dragonite....he'd body Chardizard
Is it even really a breeton verse if a gun isnt mentioed at least once? Lets be real
I feel like you should just get into the franchise imo
Drop dead by sinewave fox
:)
i usually think breeten boi's verses are either fire with a lil bit of cringe or cringe with a little bit of fiya...
this shit was just straight FIYA bro got on here and fucking solo'd no diffed body'd
