Pokemon masters 8 is a tournament in the anime to determine the strongest trainer in the world . It has all of the champions from the games minus the ones from generations 1 and 7 , Ash for the gen 1 spot , and the gen 7 champ isn't here since Ash beat him , and they replaced him with Alain , the rival for the gen 6 anime

Cam dropping this was the highlight of my week. I made my own Masters 8 rap with my terrible audio quality cause I figured no one else would, and then I found a Spanish Masters 8 cypher and was absolutely floored. And then I found out Cami made this. I couldn't have asked for anything more; this was heat and a blessing upon my soul
To quickly go down the lineup and emphasize the sheer scale of the Masters 8:
Leon's the current World Monarch, Galar's champion and the strongest trainer in the world.
Cynthia's the 2nd strongest and is Sinnoh's champion.
Steven's 3rd and is Hoenn's champion.
Lance's 4th and is Kanto and Jhoto's champion.
Diantha's 5th and is Kalos's champion.
Alain's 6th and is the Kalos League winner and Ash's strongest rival.
Iris's 7th and is Unova's champion.
And of course, Ash's 8th and is Alola's champion.

Right now, Ash is ranked 2nd, having beaten Steven and Cynthia in the quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively. Leon is still ranked 1st, having beaten Alain and Diantha. In the quarter-finals, Lance lost to Diantha, and Iris lost to Cynthia.
