You talk to two women that raised him; one heals your party, the other gives you a little backstory. She finishes it by saying that N was always innocent, and that “nothing is more beautiful and terrifying than innocence.” 11/10 shit

I wouldnt even call them unorthodox, but thats why i love Pe$o and the Cypher gang. They rap like they wanna make music, different flows, vibes, beats you name it. While 90% of the anime/gamer rap scene just sticks to the wannabe-eminem flow where you just say words really fast and stay on beat. No hate to any of them, but I legit cant tell apart so many youtube rappers bcuz their rapping lacks any musical substance

I know this is a stupid thing to point out, but Connor Quest had slow and fast parts in his verse and he said ‘Magma that’s how I flow’. Magma can flow either really quickly or really slowly, so he set up a bar in the first half of his verse and turned it into a bar in the second half. Just wanted to point out how much better Connor’s verse was than all of us probably originally thought. Insane.
Ok, because I've noticed a few people missed the theme of Giovanni's bars I'mma say it here:
Giovanni, alongside being the main villain, was also the Ground Type Gym Leader.
Break the dirt in half is probably referring to the fact that Giovanni canonically designed the Earthquake TM
Fissure is one of Pokemon's very few One Hit KO moves, and is ground type.

I actually like how zach B rapped N. Because in the show, N didn't really feel like the stereotypical "bad" guy in my opinion. He seemed like the good guy doing bad things. He brought up many existential questions in the show if I remember correctly. He was a villian that you really connected with and might've even felt sorry with. He was a very well thought out villian and the rapping by zach shows that he's done his research into how the man acted in the show.
N wasn't even a villain. He was a rival.
@@BJGvideos I’m two weeks late but N is considered the secondary antagonist. I guess he might be a rival but he’s different compared to the rivals of every other region. I think he’s closer to a villain than a rival.
@@a3gis692 Eh, when you find out his entire role was to be a figurehead with no real ideas or morals of his own and he's really only starting to gain that aspect, it's hard to view him as being any sort of villain.

Btw I’ve always been a bit confused about the actual definition of villain. It might just be based on however someone interprets it. What does it mean to you?
@@a3gis692 I guess someone who knowingly and willingly does evil or bad. N had been intentionally shaped very specifically and had no frame of reference for anything else. He lacked the ability to make decisions.
Best thing is, Natewantstobattle is more known for being a singer than a rapper, like a more video game orientated Divide music. His shit is fire, I remember jamming out to his Undertale song "Ashes" way back in 2018

Natewantstobattle is mostly a singer that works on his own music and various covers. Highly recommend his stuff
If you’re interested in nate’s stuff, he mainly does singing and he has 2 full original albums and loads of songs based on video games like legend of Zelda and pokemon( which is where he got the ‘wants to battle’ part of his name from)
I would recommend sandcastle kingdoms (either the song titled that or any of the songs off the album named after it)

N's character in Pkmn Black and white is one of the deepest pokemon has EVER written, tragic backstory and all. I dunno if you'll ever check the games out, but if you like how philisophical N is, just know that he's like that in-game too. Ghetsis, the dude that followed up on N, is his (former) adoptive father. Hence the "sonned you a bastard" line.
I don't even buy the adoptive part. That's a biological relative for sure. You gonna tell me that Ghetsis had this perfect plan and then just HAPPENED to find a kid in the woods who not only suited his plan but also looked exactly like him? Hell no, he put that kid there.

The only thing I don't like is (while I like the mewteo verse) I wish they had gone with Jesse and James, Mewtwo was a villian for two or three movies but Jesse and James have been around since the beginning, it is like having a Shonen cypher and not putting in Goku or Naruto or Luffy
@@itsjoxius Most people who prefer "bar" cyphers were disappointed with this one cause it's a "vibe" cypher for the most part.
Not like one is better than the other, but the previous cyphers were the other type, so they went in expecting A and got B, so it's kinda offputting at first.

as someone whose been a fan of NateWantsToBattle for god id say almost 10 years now if not 10 (when did X & Y get announced?) but hes all about making music, he doesnt really do rapping, but hes been in the Nerdcore game for years, making anime covers, and pokemon parodies and then went on to making all original music, inspired by video games mostly, and has some really good Original songs all him. and he does really good covers of popular punk and rock music

the best part about the charchter N from pokemon is that he has a Perfectly Valid Point, i do not consider him a villain but rather a rival, he really makes you think and question what you know and do, that is another reason as to why Pokemon gen 5 has the best story in any pokemon game (in mine and many other's opinions)
