This mall was more lively 40 years ago Eatons ,Bowling,The Keg,plus many more stores. It was a great place to go.
Malls just aren't as fun as they used to be.
I enjoyed the mall tour Ken! However, for a small mall, the layout was a bit weird. I'm glad you were able to find the mall entrance to the Cineplex & the rooftop ending was perfect! Also, congrats to Meghan on reaching 1K subs🎉 Looking forward to more great videos🤗
Thanks very much, Jeanette!
I enjoyed the walk. Have not been there in ten years. Would visit often. It is cool that it has a Pickle Barrel and a Laura Secord store. Both are almost all closed. The patio is a nice place to visit. The locals love it but tourists don’t know it exists. One thing that never changed is how crazy it is to get around with bad signage and mystery corridors!
Glad you enjoyed it, Kevin!
I remember traveling to Toronto 40 years ago I stayed in a hotel on East Eglinton and the Yonge Eglinton area was a favorite of mine.
It's still a great neighbourhood!
That was great. I moved into that area when I was 22 years old. Huge changes. Thank so much.I miss it a lot.
You're welcome, Robert!
Nice tour around the Yonge-Eglinton centre in Midtown Toronto Ken! Enjoyed it! Also, congrats to Meghan for recently hitting 1K subscribers!!
Thanks, Sepand!
Interesting tour. Great view from the rooftop patio. Have a great evening, Ken!🙂
Thanks very much!
I didn't realize Laura Secord still had stores
Wow! I don't think we have any in BC.
I never thought I would see you lost in a mall. I laughed so hard.
I would have done the same thing in such a confusing mall.
haha A few better signs would have helped.
Nice mall tour Ken. I know you said in one of you're previous videos your not really a mall person but it is very nice of you to show us around that place oh and A&W I Iove that place the last time I was at an A&W was 10 years ago I think. Long long time ago. When I go back home to Canada Ken I'll make sure I go to Toronto and go to that mall hopefully my wallet won't completely dry up lol 😆 Take care Ken👍
Thanks Jeff, lots of A&Ws all over the place here! haha
Hi Ken, nice stream but inadequate signage for the cinema complex. They needed directional signs placed in the lower floor of the Mall. Hope you are well.
Thanks for watching, & yeah, better signage wouldn't hurt. haha
Ken very nice walk. Thank you stay safe. 😊👍
Sure thing, Colleen!
Bowling was meant to be Bowrings
Was an international student in Canada during the 90's and remembered watching a musical around the Yonge/Eglinton area. The complex was a huge modern building that I kind of remembered having some sort of circular structure kind of like that with the cineplex sign on the outside facing Yonge. Was really impressed with that complex. Left Canada in 98. Was really wondering if this Yonge-Edlinton center used to be a performance theater converted into a mall and cineplex? Had looked thru Yonge street on Google maps and could not find anything else that resembles that performance arts center. Thanks. :)
I don't think there was anything like that there before?
@@TheKenContinuum Oh...I might have mistaken the location...Haiz, wonder where was it...I like that place. Need to revisit Toronto. :)
It used to be just east of Yonge where the Loblaws and LCBO stores are at. On the corner of Yonge and Lillian Streets.
@@nonamo9348 Thanks for the update...would love to visit that area again if I were to visit Toronto again. :)
1:12-This subway station is in dire need of a complete renovation/rebuild; the exposed pipes look untidy and disgusting.
😅 you were never able to go to the mall and work out at same time..how ironic work out and buy your food then you got to try and daggg it home .😊😅
Hey come back in 6 months to see the improvements of food court
Will do.
Good video Ken
Thanks!
i only been to mall once it's kind of relaxing even doe some of the stores closed ime.
Hi Ken, awesome live video walk I enjoyed it. How is your week going? My week is going well. Have a good night see you next video ❤😊
Thanks, my week is going great!
Wow Ellington station change alot more modern than it was 15 years ago
It's pronounced _Eglington_ .
Lost in Stridesland, huh?
Ken, You have too much testosterone to be a mall lover. I did like the roof top patio...🇨🇦
haha Malls reduce testosterone levels, I think.
You’re in Johnny’s hood. Bracing for a turf war. This could get ugly, especially if the Henry rebels get involved.
haha Rumble in Stridesland.
