Amazing build. Definitely gonna try this on NG+. Bit of advice, you can improve your gun damage by an additional 15% by equipping a melee weapon with 5 augmentation slots and placing 5 kinetic coils in it. You gain the bonuses from melee weapons all the time unlike guns where they have to be unholstered to gain the bonuses.

ZaK McKRaCKeN the cryo pod perk allows an extra augmentation and higher tier melee weapons like the asari sword have 4 slots already

Changes,
Add Fusion Mod of Shielding to your chest. It has a great Synergy with Life support in the Tech tree because then your 50% health is always regenning to Full from the 50% health regeneration cap.
Add Shield Oscillator To you weapon for +25% Shields each time your clip cycles (which is all the time, instantaneously)
Finally Choose Hold the Line instead of In The Trenches because of the synergy between Hold the Line Fusion Mod of Shielding and Bio-Converter. Your health is already at 50% due to Fusion Mod of Shielding and your constantly draining it down to 30% with Bio-converter with then drastically pumps your Damage resistance (something this build clearly wants) Considering Damage resistance works with shields and health and you almost constantly being below 30% health your tankyness increases incredibly.
Nice idea, though i am unable to add the bio converter if I have the oscillator and vice versa.

A shotgun build with range, cloak, and gap closer, all in one, plus speed boost fire rate endless reload. Doomsday device confirmed, no wonder it sucks you dry, its a demonic weapon. Awesome build!

There is a bonus that is useful in auxiliary systems in the tech tree... it makes using Tactical Cloak reset the cooldown of all other abilities, including TurboCharge every 15s. Its called Omni-Vents.. (its a 50% cooldown rebate)
if you replace 1 kinetic coil for shield oscillators you gain 25% shields on every kill, which would be very beneficial on insanity
not for boss fights, tried this but felt lackluster.
Boss fights are trivial in this game.
You can't have the shield oscillators with the gun behavior augment.

you drop 5 damage resistance because you only have 4 kinetic coils but regain 25% shields on every kill, it is really quite OP.

I think this works very well with just turbocharge, shotguns and the tech tree.
I would recommend Operations or Tech instead of Biotics because of animation delay in cover

I would like to recommend a single change for your build.
Adding the Shield Oscillator Mod to you chest armor.
Regaining 25% shields on each kill, with the rate at which you kill enemies, would be awesome.
shields dont benefit from damage reduction
According to the sources I have read it seems that DR does apply to shields, but due to the fact that shields tend to be so low compared to HP, it just isn't as easily visible.
Anyways - regaining 25% of your shields per kill is a benefit - regardless of the question if DR does or does not apply to shields.
He is getting 100% shield recharge every time he uses Charge, regardless of whether its a kill or not. Shield Oscillator would be both redundant and ineffective, while replacing the most unique mod slot available.
I hope this wasn't nerfed in patch 1.10. I fell in love with Tactical Cloak while playing an Infiltrator build, and this has to be the best use of this ability. Mad props for the detailed guide

Found my Insanity run build. Awesome work, man!
Since Rizzit, despite his great tutorial, forgot to mention that this build can ONLY be achieved later in game. This means that you need to pour at least 10-15 hours first in order to start following this guide, otherwise you will get confused by all the modifications, research, materials, money and development that he shows in the video, but that you might not have yet.
I would also recommend to get a much clearer info in the description.

I'm not level 90+ yet (currently level 86), but this build still works ridiculously well. I added some tweaks for more raw damage such as: replacing charge with invasion for the beneficial debuff, picking the soldier profile for the incremental damage increase with each quick kill, and throwing more kinetic coils into a melee weapon of choice (I don't really melee much at all now). I can't speak for 90+ yet, but for level 86 everything still dies really quickly
So you switched to raw Soldier profile? Im currently using the Explorer profile Soldier/Tech/Adept hybrid and i already was using the invasion over Charge, as on insane difficulty you want to expose yourself to close combat as little as possible. @lv 83 here
I like the evasion type on the Explorer profile as it makes you evade trough objects, but considering the bonus weapon damage and also incremental bonus damage on the raw Soldier profile, i might try it out.
15 hours in an open world (or semi open, I haven't played the game yet, it is downloading now) isn't much these days to get rolling.
I'm pretty sure this is how the designers wanted this game to be played...

The Piranha is just a sick weapon regardless (best shottie in the game, IMO) and I use it in a sentinel build that sometimes switches over to Andromeda Explorer --- singularity/incinerate, overload and warp. It made insanity relatively easy, although I'm not sure I could characterize it as totally Insanity OP. This build however does look pretty OP.
Greatest build man, played A lot to be able to make this build after seeing the video and I'm not disappointed at all
don't worry about the tech pronunciation. I still can't roll my Rs in spanish so whatever.
For the arms, legs, and helm you can add either tech recharge or combat recharge augments to help with your cooldowns

This is an amazing build. i had something similar but the small things make the difference. i was using the maxed out remnant chest armor to recharge shield/health. I'm gonnna respec and try this. Keep up the good work.looks good.
Thotkin Rifle with Disruptor Ammo (seeks and destroys shields, I have a level 3 at level 34 and it's still kicking ass), Incinerate/Tactical Cloak/Energy Drain. Keep load out light and go for wide area of effect. Kills about as fast, although not as hardened in defenses but very adaptable ESPECIALLY since your double jumps are mini-cloaks and help in evasion, it's the infiltrator equivalent.
The bio-converter is seriously insane for this gun...
I have mine equipped with sticky grenades instead of the plasma bolts. It's safe to say everything goes BOOM at the end
I found this game very hard at the start. then I made all level 2 armour and did as much of this build as I could with 40 skill points and I smashed everythig. And I keep getting stronger. thank you
And i thought playing ma3 with incendiary and concussive shot was cheesy. But that's just cruel. Love it.

Piranha has been OP since ME3 Multiplayer ;p. So has tactical cloak ;p, which is why everyone played infiltrator on platinum.
Tactical cloak allows you to free fire without being charged by fiends or kett ascendants, taking the heat off you while you do damage, and allows you to safely rez your dumb squad mates when they go down after taking aggro.
Tactical cloak even stops the attacks of an Architect on you while you freely take out its legs.
Also, lol at Drack getting immediately bent over by the Destroyer.

Dude that is awesome! Now I'd like to see you combine this with the already OP perma invisibility build using Cloak and Fusion Mod of Adrenaline! :D I'm currently using the Dhan and Isharay and so I can keep the invisibility up all the time, but I'm only level 25 or 26 but I don't have the amazing DPS you have and need to use melee and guns to kill. At your level, all you need to do is add the Fusion Mod and you'll have a perma Charge and perma Invisi build with constantly high DPS, haha!
Thank you bud :) Yeah I tried adrenaline but it is complicated, you have to keep track of your cd's or else turbocharge etc wont reload, then again I want to be able to defeat solo bosses as easy as trash mobs, adrenaline didnt make the cut for that.

I had soooo much more fun with Andromeda than a lot of other so called top tier games. Finished Andromeda at least 3 times.
This build pairs well with the kett carfolon Melee weapon it refills a portion of your health on weapon strikes

With twelve in the mag you may better off going with aerial performance optimizer rather than bio-converter on your pirhanha - 35% weapon damage while hovering (and combat tools lets you hover for ages while being more tanky). I like bio-converter on a dahn, not so much on a piranha.

To add even more OP to this build, get the FUSION MOD OF ADRENALINE and put it in your chest mod slot. This mod resets all cooldowns with every kill. You kill someone, you can immediately charge the next guy and then cloak and rinse and repeat.
husleman I tried that you will have trouble vs boss mobs

very nice. I'm using energy drain, incinerate and turbocharged. not dying at all and just ploughing through enemies. only on rank 3 of the gun as well so that will get increased significantly.
After rewatching this vid again i found that piranha gun is now not as good as the kett hesh shotgun when it has automatic build augment attached, also when you have bioconverter attached not only does it reload instantly when the clip depletes but it doesnt consume any of you ammo, making the gun unlimited ammo, also its damage is still very high but it has an advantage the piranha doesnt have, the hesh has double the rifiring rate making it dish out more shots an damage in a shorter time frame, i also use plasma seeking on my hesh gun plus some extra connetic coils for extra damage
thats the build im using, all you need though is to fully upgrade all passive powers in all biotic tech and combat...
Wish there were more armors to wear. Hope they'll patch some in or release some as free dlc.

I wonder how well the Fusion Mod of Adrenaline would help with this assuming it works the way I think it does.
Every kill you get would reset the cooldown on your powers even if they otherwise suffer a -50% recharge speed penalty so you could just constantly cycle the abilities as you rotate targets.
Alternatively, if you don't want to rely on kills, there's a mod that gives +50% power recharge speed for -30% weapon damage that you can reduce to -15% with a cryo pod perk & that measly -15% is easily overcome by loading a melee weapon with damage augments.
The combat system in this game is amazing.
You are just like those pros on Anarchy Online.. they play a complete noob character and can max out damage with a mid level unique weapon.. doing basically what u described.. neat!

Much respect for the build, man. Really well done! I have to say though that I dont see myself enjoying this playstyle for like 50+ hours. Its basically holding down mousebutton1 without having to aim or reload, right? No offense here at all. looks like one of the strongest builds ever made for MEA, but is it fun to play in the long run?

This is an awesome build. Better than what I'm running now with charge, turbo, I need to add tactical cloak over annilation. I like being able to go invisible to escape. Also the piaranna over the dhan but right now with no skills active my dhan damage is 1322
1702 with turbo charge activated but I still may try the piarana

This is quite an obvious build, you can consider how much buffs are for melee damage around mods and skill trees so... you can build pretty much melee only build with nearly the same build.
With assault rifle and high stability and little bit of aiming you will have similar consistent damage output w/o skill bursting. because you can headshot consistently.
that missile ammo blueprint is absurd. pretty nullified the shotgun biggest weakness
gun: "give me ur blood to reload me"
this build would be amazing on an infiltrator or soldier/tech because tech passive life support heals on casting.
It sounds great to focus on shotguns due to their big power but there is one prob, its awesome for the first 1min or so if their auto augmented then your outta ammo thats why i only use remnant guns as main weaponry, still good vid though an nice build.
get a vintage heat sink or bioconverter and your problems are gone! I have 2 versions of piranha, one with each ammo augment, and both with seeking plasma. it's so much fun, I can kill anything. since piranha has a larger clip and I have +25% clip size on the shotgun tree the heatsink penalty isn't so bad. I only really need the bioconverter version when fighting architets.

Nice build man. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if something like this can be done with a sniper rifle? I believe there is a full auto sniper rifle that could possibly be used like this. And throwing some points into hover damage since your sniping from a distance would negate the need to charge enemies.

I would add the heat inducer for extra damage when using fire ammo in exchange for one of the kinetic coils. There's also another that gives you a bigger clip when using special ammo, but I'm not sure if you can do both.

I'm over Lv70 so my base Piranha IX has 666 base damage, pretty adequate number :p But with perks and IX Mods and equipment it has 1090, and then with the 3 active skills reaches 1800+. All other guns in the game feel like BB Guns, and with the nerfing of Overload and Shield drain in comparison to ME3 where any of them could take out an enemy shield in a single use in Insane, now the shielded enemies are tanks and take nearly all your ammo if they don't kill you before that because they don't even take half the shields out.
