Not sure if you'll see this, since its been months, but this little chickky-doo is so cute! Chickens are such cozy critters.
I love that you are giving non-crochet options! The little comb bumps are adorable, and i think they'd also work for a back ridge on something like a dinosaur or a dragon. Getting so many ideas!

Hi Laura, they are indeed, we have a few hens here ourselves and one at the moment is sitting on some eggs so we should have little ones very soon (pets). Love the dino suggestion I'll def have a think on that. All the best

Well we made one!! Daughter has returned home. We only managed the one but she is so cute! I had trouble with the beak. I thought it was too bulky so I crocheted a small, flatter one … like you I don’t crochet but it was easy enough. Today I’m going to make a knitted nest 😂 and put ‘Henrietta’ in the kitchen keeping my eggs warm lol ……. Have a great day Caz …… thanks for the video 😊

Another great idea Caz! My daughter is visiting for Easter so we will make a few chickens. There will be a few donated to the local animal shelter for them to sell at their next Open Day!! Your lovely hats are always a hit!! Have a wonderful Easter! Hugs from France!

That turned out great. That last pour really tied the pond and embankment together.

This is the best chicken tutorial ever that I have seen on you tube. saves my hands than the traditional knitting method. Keep up the great tutorials. Thank you.

Could you sew the half circle on a sewing machine?

I would have thought so - a walking foot would probably help

I imagine it would be really great to make this design into a chicken hat, or a chicken tea-cosy too! 🙂

Great job but video is too dark. Needs a lighter background and a brighter overhead light.
