  • Hello friends!
Seeing that chickens are all the rage right now, I decided to make one myself! I hope you like it.
It takes very little yarn to make one so crap yarn is a great choice.
I used Bernat Premium in white and yellow, a small amount of Red Heart Super Saver in red and Big Twist Value in light green.
    I also used my 46 and 22 needle Addi’s.
    Have fun!!
Be sure and post yours in my Facebook group. If you are in other groups then please add the link when you post.
    Thank you so much!

Finally got to watch. Genius doing the jogless color join.

I’m going to try this on my flatbed machine! They’re absolutely adorable! Also, if you add some weights to your flat panels, you won’t have to manually push the first and last stitch down. Just a tip. Lovely project!!

      Excellent tip!
I so badly want to figure out my flat bed machines. I was gifted three machines, every accessory you could ask for and many cones of yarn. Old instruction books and punch cards as well.
I have cleaned the machines and they look like new and I have changed the sponge bar on one.
I just haven’t had the time to spend learning. I need to change that.

Have you thought about a darker background when working on light colors? Would stop the white washout.

I generally have a dark grey background. I haven’t used this one in a very long time. I have the hardest time figuring out what works best. Thanks for the feedback. I will go back to a darker colour.

Would a 48 needle machine be good too? I love all of your content! I want to make this for a friend for Christmas

I'm working on this pattern. I am having a really hard time seeing where you are putting your stitches in the white yarn. I am at 52:22. Is there a video showing the Kitchener stitch?. I will have to look. I love your videos. That white yarn is hard to see the stitches.
