Interesting. If you guys were in the theater watching this on the big screen for the first time for both of you, you'd be thrilled. I took my son to see Top Gun Maverick in the theater with the big screen and surround sound and even though we knew some of the actors we didn't know the storyline and so we could not determine the outcome. So, watching a movie for the first time without someone explaining it at each turn was a thrill and rewarding. In addition, I think it's okay to explain some elements of some scenes, especially if she has questions, but don't tell her EVERYTHING. She should experience it herself, but granted,cits difficult to be a reaction chanel if we can't see your or hear your comments or reaction for the first time. I think there's a delicate balance for you two. I still enjoy watching you guys because of your excitement for films. Thanks as always and on to episode 1 🎉😊.

The language of the Ewoks is called Ewokese and is based on the real life language of Kalmyk, a Mongolic language spoken by the Kalmyk people of Russia. It also utilizes Nepalese and some sped-up Tibetan phrases.
I love how you avoid looking her in the eyes when she asks you an important question about the movie that if you answered would ruin the experience for her. In other less important moment, you look in her eyes and give in and tell her everything. I don't know your relationship with each other but can tell you have great love for her and fight your desire to answer to ensure her memories of the experience are as special as it is for all of us. I love the innocence you both give off like an aura. "May The Force Be With You Both, Always". "Live Long And Prosper". May your heat and mind grow while your goodness remains.
The Alien that was the co-pilot for Lando was actually speaking Sudanese.
Loved how the Ewoks joined the rebellion and contributed to the Empire's defeat, shown at the end as the Galaxy celebrated and some even rose up against their Imperial garrisons. A different era begins. Also Luke wearing a white shirt that's exposed beneath his dark attire shows he never intended to join the dark side even if it seemed he would.
apologizes for spoiling and then....."just enjoy this movie for lord Darth Vader because you will miss him in the next three parts". COME ON MAN..... there's more to spoiling than just simply telling someone what's going to happen. A filmmaker fine tuned their movie and franchise a specific way for the audience to experience it organically, how it commences on screen. You really should not deprive anyone of that.
Relax. The creator made them expecting and wanting the audience to know that they're prequels and before the time of Darth Vader. Not a single ounce of spoiler in saying Darth won't be in the next movies.
@@unclebounce1495 You clearly don't understand what i was getting at when i was saying spoilers are more than revealing future plot points. the intention is for a viewer to find out what happens OR DOESN'T HAPPEN by experiencing the film(s).
The dark side of the force was also what kept Darth Vader alive. By willingly giving up on it. He gave up on what kept him alive. But it was a sad and angry life. And now he's free and his soul is at peace.

They got the buring Vader's body in his armor idea from Viking burials.
Ewoks are cute af, but I'd rather hug Chewbacca (granted he's in a good mood). I also can't help but cheer when Leia chokes out Jabba with that chain.
Side notes:
1. The creature that killed that Twi'lek (green woman with tentacles/tails on her head) slave and almost kills Luke inside that pit in Jabba's palace is called a rancor.
2. The scene at the Sarlacc pit was shot in my home state of Arizona in the middle of the Yuma desert, while the scenes on the forest moon of Endor were shot in the Redwood Forest of California.

I admit, the only thing that could have made this better is if they kept Sebastian Shaw (Vader's body actor) as the ghost of Anakin Skywalker. While they changed it to Hayden's image out of respect for the Prequel trilogy, but Shaw slaved around in that demented black suit for YEARS, allowing a separate person to speak for him. I was so happy when the audience finally got to see what Vader looked like as a human, only for his image to be taken away. It was criminal that they did him so dirty.
Dave Prowse was the body of Darth Vader. But I agree, it would have been better to leave Sebastian Shaw as the force ghost of Annakin as it makes sense within the film to have him recognisable as the redeemed character that Luke saves.

Exactly, thank you. It's crazy to think about, once you know it, but it took three actors to portray Darth Vader. David Prowse when he's just walking around, James Earl Jones when he talks, and Sebastian Shaw when the mask comes off.
In the beginning, I was glad they put Hayden Christensen in because it often felt that the prequel trilogy and original trilogy while all part of the same story were disconnected from each other due to the times they were filmed and continuity problems. Now though with Rogue One and the other shows Hayden isn't needed anymore in that scene, but I feel Anakin could always change his image to whatever age he wants due to being the chosen one.
I agree and it does not make sense as why keep old Obi Wan if you go to a younger form. The old ending needs restored. I miss the ewok song too. Most the other updates I was fine with but the old ending was perfect and a crime to alter IMHO.

The Emperor manipulated Anakin for most of his life, but that's a story for the prequels. As far as Leia becoming a Jedi, that answer is complicated. In Legends, the pre-Disney books and stuff, she was Luke's first student, became very talented, reaching the talent of a Jedi Master, but never technically joined the order, at least not in a full sense. In the current timeline, she was also a student of Luke's, but she stopped her training.

Thanks for reacting to this film. Return Of The Jedi is always my most favourite Star Wars film no matter what but only the original version of it. Also, Return Of The Jedi is the true end of the six-film Skywalker Saga because the Disney Star Wars films are not canon in my opinion.

Hey, guys, don't forget there are episodes 7, 8 and 9 too; The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and the Rise of Skywalker. Watch those too to complete the story arc. 👍

The original plan was for it to be the Wookie homeworld not, Ewoks. But Lucas felt that they'd made Chewbacca too sophisticated for that to be believable that the Wookies were so innocent and untouched by tech so, they invented the Ewoks instead........, which for me, is what ruined the franchise
