Indians didn't grow up with Star Wars? I watched Star Wars long before I ever watched Sholay. Star Trek even before that since they used to air it on TV in the early 80's.
@@maneeshd3 We watched Star Trek on a communal TV. Star Wars on rented VHS tapes. you could rent tapes for Rs.10 and the VCP for Rs. 50-100. TV's were available for rent too. Actually Star Wars, James Bond and The Lord of the Rings are equally popular in India. We watched these movies as kids on TV and watched whenever new movies released here to packed cinema halls. ❤️❤️❤️
Not equally. Very few privileged kids had watched those shows. I think the most common superhero serial was shaktimaan which almost all 80's and 90's Indian kids can connect to.
Star Wars is not at all a famed in India. Yes maybe, Spiderman or Superman or even Pirates and Harry Potter. To be frank 95% of Indians won't know a single character from SW the same way Westerners are also alien to our movies.
From the above 3 you mentioned- I have only watched 1James bond movie- Casino Royale. That's all. India is big. Apart from a few metro cities, Hollywood movies are not even put up in movie halls. But, the Hollywood movies that are actually popular in India, that even the kids from small towns must have seen are Harry Potter, Titanic, Jurassic park and Spiderman.
Well, Hollywood movies have become popular only now. Until a few years ago the boomers, the silent gen and older Gen X population were the the Indian parents and they didn't bother with Hollywood movies. But what has made them popular now is the advent of high speed internet that brought the world closer here and a large millennial population that grew up with fascination about Hollywood movies but didn't have access to it or was restricted by their older gen parents, has now become wage earning population. After the boomer gen, millennials are the largest population and along with the Gen Z aka Zoomers born to the youngest Gen X and older millennials have become the largest patrons of Hollywood movies in India. So the oldest zoomers are the last segment of population to remember a time when Hollywood movies were not so popular here. But the youngest zoomers and the new Gen Alpha were born into a world already populated with high speed internet and a booming Hollywood market here.

God of Bgm_ ARR❤️
Indians actually did grow up with Star Wars!! It was released in Indian theatres as well, my dad saw it when it first came out and is a super fan
Bombay is the movie i've watched almost 100 times . especially the first half . i love that ❤
You should watch 'Woh Kaun Thi' (the black and white movie whose song you reacted to), for classics month. It's a thriller with a Hitchcockian feel to it.
AR Rahman most often ask the vocalist and musicians to improvise and he selects their best interpretation of his idea… Maestro Ilayaraja writes the whole piece in 10-30 minutes … that’s what I have heard
Ranveer's face in background i can't keep my eyes off of him too distracting 😂😂
Gay
@@nikhilkumar-hj8rt yeah I'm
You?
This was his top song that year thanks.
10:06 to 10: 12 wow Rehman' s flute music really mesmorising. I really tried to set as ring tone , but it dosent
A.R.Rehaman was worked with Mastro illayaraja since younger day's... Highly Talented..
You guys should bring guest people (apart from family) in the relevant field so that we can also be exposed to their knowledge and brilliance.
ARRAHMAN sir veriyan 🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
Link to Original post should be made available in description. Seems he has put down lot of efforts to publish this quality research.
This was a very enlightening video🔥🔥
Loved that he acknowledged RD Burman!

No,we didn't grow up with starwars but we have feluda, Satyajit Ray....and trust me that's more than enough for us.
Just watch him playing the score at Berklee College of Music. A.R.Rahman does that for India
If our todays musicians will make efforts at least like this man who narrated the Bombay music... imagine!!
Pl study the masto illayaraia regarding his extraordinary talent he has.ust see the screen and write usic notes with differently instruments.you cannot imagine.pl verify with Ar.bb and kamal.do not miss.
You should watch 'Aaradhike' song from Malayalam movie 'Ambili'... Trust me, it's simple but very powerful ❤️❤️💖
