@@luvuchuu No literally during the say my name performance, I was thinking "wow no wonder shanbin is the center, I can't keep my eyes off of him😍" then i realized it was cause the camera was literally only following him💀😭. Like i'm talking others were singing and doing adlibs and hanbin was just dancing and smiling.

Like I was really annoyed at the Hao and Kuan Jui dance break because it mostly focused of Hao close ups meanwhile Kuan Jui was slaying the moves as well.
Mnet we know who the most popular contestants are but this is a mission. The camerawork really should have followed members more on their parts more, there also wasn’t enough full team shots on all stages like I was confused, I want to see the choreography as well please.

I hate how the Say My Name beef was dragged on for nearly a month when Jiwoong and Matthew made up the same day ugh Mnet is so annoying but anyways I'm glad to see Ricky get more vocal recognition and Phanbin is going to the finals which is deserved! The final lineup has the potential to be legendary most of the trainees left are actually talented and not visual dozens you love to see it!
AGREED. The SMN beef had NO reason to be a month long like we could’ve started it and ended it in 10-20 minutes in a single episode😭😭
Mnet loves drama and they milk any tiny conflict and drag it even more then it actually lasted. Also they add more stuff to it for more drama like they did with silver hair guy from Feel Special team. Silver hair was hard to work with and he did make Woonggi sing almost the whole song, but if it was actually Woonggi he badmouthed when he spoke chinese is unknown. Silver hair could be talking about the translators for all we know.
The way Mnet is trying to erase the G group members they don't want making it at all. Jay was doing adlibs the whole time and barely got any focus. Keita has been killing it this entire show and this time Mnet chose to just never focus on him during the whole performance, I barely managed to get glimpses of him and he was my favorite in that group.
Don't even get me started on Hiroto, who has gotten maybe 5 minutes of screentime this whole show despite making it to episode 10.
Yes i was hurt too i barely see keita also, so my eyes is just following him so that i can see him.. its the first time mnet did not focus him.. i'm disappointed

someone showed a leak of the next 2 groups - they get 2 songs and the boys are parted in 2 groups - and you could see who got eliminated since they are not listed
if the leak is true, then we now only have as foreigners Zhang Hao, Ricky, Keita and Jay in the show (since Matthew and Kamden are ethnically Koreans I dont count them; they are in the list though btw)
Mnets tactic to kick out many foreigners and getting the Korean trainees up worked

I'm still upset about Jay's low score. How come the live audiences chose B whereas Jay did his part well?? HE DID SO WELL AS THEIR MAIN VOCALIST AND I WON'T GONNA SHUT UP HOW GOOD HE WAS!! IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL IT'S OVER #JusticeForJay

Bro ep10 was a bit better than ep 9 since they actually fit more than two performances in. but what pissed me off was how blatantly they cut people screentime. especially during that acting mini contest. they were only 14 teams they could have shown snippets of each of them instead of showing us the boys in the dorm. And don't get me started on the elimination broadcast. Somi was just repeating herself over and over(well she was just reading what was given) but omg it too 40 mins just to announce one person, congrats to phanpin 11 place
I agree this episode was better, I was just already annoyed at it cuz of the past couple episodes so I just wasn’t having it 😭 and I was going to talk about the musical theater screen time cut but it completely slipped my mind and I agree. If you’re going to have filler then at least make it a full segment not half assed. CHEN KUAN JUI GOT ALL STAR AND WE DIDNT SEE THE PERFORMANCE NOR THE PRACTICE LIKE????

Mnet has been aggressively pushing Jeonghyeon after noticing knets gush over him in forums. He's pretty good vocal wise from what I've gathered, but the way he had next to no screentime up to this point + the whole Over Me thumbnail debacle just seems a little off to me. They're definitely trying to push out G-trainees from the top 9 and it isn't even subtle anymore.
Yeah they're becoming a lil too obvious about it. Sure he's good looking but it stops there for me, his voice is meh and I personally think his rapping is nothing special. During Love Me Right era, Haruto and him got the same part, but his sounds straight up bland compared to Haruto's part that has character. Can't help but notice the difference.

I don't mind him debuting but if it's at the worth of my Pick's place then I absolutely against it.
I would rather have others who are between top 8 to 12 being pushed!!!

Rap wise Gunwook Keita and Haruto can easily do better
Vocal wise Hui and Jay are alot better choice (I think this is not even arguable)
Dance wise also Gunwook haruto zihao are way better.
Intially he made buzz only for his visuals but we already have jiwoong shanbin guvyin

I actually agree the Girls Planet artist mission was definitely better overall. The editing was terrible last two episodes.
This episode all but confirmed that Lip J's behavior is weird as hell and inexcusable tbh. She needs to dial it WAY down, and it's always with Yujin :')

You hit the nail on the head for everything🙌 mnet unnecessarily dragged out so many things like the Matthew drama, the performances, etc. meanwhile there are trainees who barely get any screentime. I’m really upset they didn’t show all the attempts at the musical, I wanted to see everyone ;( especially kuan rui, he got 4 stars but we don’t even get to see how or why. I’m happy over me won the mission, but I agree that the camera work was so bad, I found it hard to focus on the performance. I hope that things go better in their mcountdown performance! And omg how mnet never let’s Zhang Hao be center when he’s literally finally the killing part?? As a rosin im so mad. I’m glad jeonghyeon’s getting more screentime & recognition, but like come on. Mnet is really only singling Zhang Hao out, and it’s also funny that they choose to focus a lot on the only Korean trainee in over me team while the g trainees barely get anything😀 sneaky mnet maggots😒😒 I do have to say I’m proud of rosins for directing our distaste towards mnet & not jeonghyeon tho. For any rosins who are mad at jeonghyeon, don’t be, he didn’t do anything wrong, let’s not act in a way that would be disappointing. Zhang Hao is our pride, we should also behave with decency so that he can have pride in his fans too

they ignored jay the entire ep and when the mentors finally started praising him after the performance, lip j had the guts to make fun of him when she could only dream of sounding like him. and the yujin comments? just get her off the show already.
She's way too old to be doing this I feel so bad for Yujin She's constantly sexualizing him also with jay that was so unnecessary she's so mean For that it's honestly annoying She's seriously needs to grow up and stop She's out of control
TBH i was shocked ep 10 was the shortest episode at only 1hr 45mins . Like cut off the acting mission and it’s not even that long like MNET really could have added those stages onto ep 9 instead of us waiting a week.
During the previous seasons we always got the scenes where they recorded the songs at the studio, which I really liked, and seeing the last episode I thought "guess we're not getting it this time". But in ep 10, they showed Over Me team in the studio, and I thought "Jay, this is your time!!" only for them not to show him? The main vocal? Absolutely ridiculous.
the seok mathew situation is so bad like why is he getting hate for stating his opinion and having emotions? of course, when they said he could take the sub 2 vocal he was so excited and thankful for it. but then they suddenly wanted to change it, which he would obviously feel sad and disappointed. he needed some time to gather and feel his emotions first. it’s hard to conceal and just brush it of for something that was big deal to him that it lost his confidence because it seems that they had no trust in him. i honestly feel like he just oppressed it for the sake of everyone. idols or these trainees are humans too.
Yes honestly, Matthew had ppl in the group like Jiwoong and Hanbin who he really trusted and thought appreciates his hardwork but they decided not to trust him no shade to them but if the two most trusted ppl of mine turn their back on me, I would just quit rather than trying hard like how Matthew did. Props to him and hope he debuts. The group needs a wholesome Matthew!!
Say my name was giving what adore u, manse and pretty u by svt gave. I wasn't expecting say my name to be this fresh and sweet. Like the song, performance and everything abt it was just nostalgic and lovely. Matthew was the cutest. Me and so many other star creators didn't even liked the song at all but the performance and delivery of the song was so good that now everyone agrees it being great. Although it's just another cute bg song. I don't it was adorable and it's doing great for a reason. I have the song on repeat 😭💕💕💕

Matthew’s views adds up to me. He’s not even a favourite of mines but he was the first Say My Name fancam I went to watch because he literally fitted the song sooo well. He’s adorable and really has a great smile. Ppl are just mad Matthew beat out Hanbin in views like please Koreans shut up.

You are literally right for every single point you made in this entire video. Watching ep. 9 and ep.10 i was kind of like mentally done with it all, because i already knew what the rankings for the songs would end up like + all the unnecessary dragged out drama with the Say My Name team that could have been edited into a literal 5 minute clip before their performance had me fed up as it was really taking away a lot of screentime that could have been spread out equally towards the other trainees in the show before the elimination!
Also, i cant put it into words how pissed i was to see how they decided to cut up the filler clips of the musical challenge! I was so excited to watching Seunghwan + Woonggi, Ricky and Ollie, and just all the trainees try that cute little challenge but it was so half-assed to where i was just annoyed the entire time. Like theres so much i can say, even starting with the elimination broadcast (i literally screamed and cried in happiness when PHanbin got announced as rank 11), but the 40 minutes it took to announce one damn trainee, only to cut the broadcast and tell us to comeback next week... Like are you serious? Plus, lets also talk about the horrible camera work for some of the stages? En Garde and Over Me had by far the worst camera work ive yet to see when it comes to watching the produce series! It was just ass.
As much as i love all the trainees we've been able to watch this entire season, this is by far the worst produced (editing wise) season to date under mnet's entire survival show discography. I am extremely nervous with this upcoming elimation as its not really looking too hot for my picks but im trying to stay positive! Overall my fav songs are definitely en garde as Seunghwan, Hui and Gunwook really blew me away, and Over Me! Leejeong, Ricky and Zhanghao
I think Mnet was trying to give Matthew a big redemption arc but they really fumbled the ball there. Like he's upset about his part then gets a reality check from evaluations and thrives anyway, similar to his story line in the Kill this Love G team but with more dramatic zoom ins and higher-ranked trainees.
Since the resolution of their disagreement wasn't shown until ep 10, fans and voters had basically 3 weeks to sit on Matthew being 'evil' or 'not a team player' or whatever you wanna call it when in reality this beef lasted a day max. I'm scared it will hurt him in the long run. Hopefully it's not enough to drop him out of the top 9 but with 1 pick coming up I can't help but be a little worried for him.
matthew has a strong fanbase backing him up, so he probably won't drop out of top 9 but might rank lower. my guess is top 5 or lower.
I think Matthew's redemption arc was rushed and was finished half heartedly.
The viewers who were probably neutral during whole thing must have felt unsettled upon this!!

They stretched Matthew's evil editing so much!! It was shown in Ep 9 and it all cleared out in Ep 10. People had a full 1 week to vote in between and many people just made the perception that Matthew is selfish and greedy without understanding anything because mnet showed it much worse than it was. I am so afraid for Matthew's ranking 😢😢

The whole Matthew drama happened for a couple of hours and they stretched it for 3 episodes, half the time they were replaying the same footage too. So annoying, it's annoying because he's the only G member in the group. When I saw the live performance my first thought was why did they give Matthew that part in the first place...its obvious he doesn't suit it, which makes me wonder if mnet scripted the whole thing to create drama/storyline for the Say Yes team.
I wish people would stop hating on matthew because his reason to be upset was completely valid, and they ended up performing beautifully
GP999 ep.9-10 was way better than Boys Planet to be honest. Like I was so pissed when they split the artist battle into 2 eps. that they could done in one episode. Also the drama in each group was like badly edited like they ended here without a conclusion (specially in over me team). Also matthew story line in part switching was way too long that would make up in 1 ep only. Also the filler content was so random and somehow unnecessary ( except when they perform infront in their relatives).
I just wish mnet arrange the 2 eps just like in GP999 like ep 9. Was full of filler ep with the trainess having break and went outside . And ep 10 was the performance of all team.

Jay was robbed idc what anyone else says. Jay deserved first in over me, I was really upset when Jay acknowledged not being cheered for while performing. I seriously hate how these survival shows find every possible way to eliminate foreign trainee’s. Like people from G group are disappearing. Not to mention the favoritism of K group, like I get it’s a K pop genre and all that but like seriously?? If ur gonna incorporate global trainees you should at least treat them equally, smh.
MNET better get it together AND quit the evil editing so many people lose their chances on being voted for due to it. Plus Mnet needs to quit allowing for major idols to join survival programs. I love hui don’t get me wrong but he is on a program at 30 competing with 14+ year olds, he is from a successful group and has a successful career, there is no reason for him to be on this show. Mnet survival shows have always been ass, but this is a new level for sure. I’m only watching it for Jay, seo won, keita, haruto and woongki.

Mnet is clearly showing us only their fav boys now...cutting off others important parts even if it means showing us irrelevant drama. like don't get me wrong im not hating on any boy but maybe it wouldve been nice to actually see Jay's high note, more focus on matthew and seungeon's duo part clearly, others reacting to overme rather than just sunghanbin etc etc..well only finals are left & its becoming more clear who'll get the topper ranks
