I carried the streamlight equivalent for quite some time in the corner of my back pocket. I'm a sparky so must have a flashlight at all times. Here is the thing about streamlight's warranty. The warranty doesn't cover the button. I could send it in and let them troubleshoot it, only to find out that it is the button. The replacement button is pretty much the price I paid for the light. If they replace it then I also get charged labor or service fee on top of that. I have a bunch of other lights I paid much less for and they have outlived that streamlight at least 4 times. I will say though if ya want reliability go with a petzl. I've had the same petzl on my hardhat for I'd say probably pushing 25 years. Paid about 100 for it back then but it has lasted through spray chambers in steel mills, -40 temps, and all kinds of falls. I can leave that light in my shed winter or summer and a yr later the batteries are ALWAYS still good when I pull it out.
Petzl makes great lights. I was introduced way back because of backpacking and also military gear. It was great figuring out I never needed someone to hold a flashlight again as well
I have 5 of those, and I love them. I have 3 of them in my service box so they do get beat around in there and still work fine after probably 3 years, I have couple in the house. I also have bought about 15 of their Luminar Outdoor can lights that you just pull up the outer cover, and you have 360° of light their perfect for power outages their in every room. And at $5 each thats definitely a good deal and there really bright. Was the last clip one of those just add booze moments
I have several of the brand that Harbor Freight used before switching to Braun. Quantum. I’ve had them several years! They seem identical to the Braun. (Probably made in the same factory in China) They seem to be holding up fine to the abuse I put them through. Will probably purchase a few more when they go on sale again. 👍
Thanks for shedding a light on this subject, young man!

Wow! you have quite a few. I might need a few more myself
I have a hard time with off brand lights like this. I'm sure they work great, maglight makes an awesome pocket light!
Yep, the maglight is nice. Do they have them that are rechargeable?

I understand, it is nice to have them lying around.
I could sure use a light like that. Currently using an Everready tactical light that uses 3 AAA batteries. I use the light a lot at night.
It is a pretty nice one and it wasn't very expensive.
I love their magnetic base LED lights, so I'm sure this one is fine too! But I lose things so I can't say I'd hang on to it long! :)
Yep, I have 2 of those magnetic base wand style. I love them
