VengefulWarriorRose when I first heard that theme during the prologue that played in 2011 with Mission Impossible I was obsessed with it. it is very ominous. I was glad to hear it used in the movie multiple times and not just at the beginning when we first see the plane.
The amount of chills that run down my spine while listening to Hans Zimmer compositions, be it Batman Trilogy, Inception or Interstellar... Is unbelievable. Like, his compositions just rake you into another world... Away from reality.
I love how with BB, TDK or TDKR, Hans Zimmer is able to add different flourishes to his batman theme without completely rehashing it - BB had more of an upbeat lighter tone to it as Bruce Wayne makes mistakes and learns the ropes to become Batman; TDK relied more on strings and violin to create tension as the Joker got underneath Batman's skin; TDKR relied more on drums and operatic beats to imply that something ominous was brewing underground before the shit was gonna hit the fan.
I'm rewatching Rises, and I don't even know why I disliked it so much to my recollection. The whole atmosphere and grandiose of this film is as good, if not better than The Dark Knight. The final 40 minutes of this film, I think, is the best 40 minutes of Batman I have ever seen; better than the best that TDK and Begins had to offer. Glad I gave this movie another chance. 9.5/10 for me.
In my opinion The Dark Knight will always be the best but Rises is the second best, Rises is probably the most powerful and emotional Batman movie we've ever seen
The fight scenes in the movie overall was underwhelming. But the acting was top notch as usual, story was great and it had the most satisfying ending I’ve ever witnessed in my movie watching life
I am just gonna say... play any Arkham city video game series listening to this soundtrack!!!! the game experience is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more epic!!!
The intensity of this track just keeps going up. It starts with a bang and when you think it will take a breather, begins @2:43. Then it goes a couple of notches up at @4:02. Finally when we think the fiery intensity will calm down around @5:15, begins @5:26. It makes one feel invincible.
If you haven't been to a Hans Zimmer concert, you should go. Its incredibly epic! I went to the one in London in 2019. I want to create my own light show at home with Han Zimmer music. So I'm currently researching the right equipment to buy
This soundtrack boosted Hans Zimmer's credentials to God. He may copy music from the past, but its his twists of emotional inspiration that makes them unique. Everyone copies from everyone anywhere, its how you put your own twist into it that determines its success.
The fire rises!!! Such an amazing soundtrack. Driving to this makes you instantly feel like your sucked into some massively epic mission , and completely unstoppable.
I would disagree but it's you're opinion. I personally prefer The Dark Knight over Rises. I thoud Rises was a bit boring in the 2nd act but it did pay off in the 3rd act.
The bit between 1:54 and 2:25 is fucking brilliant. Foley, "close it off gentleman. Batman, on the batpod when he whooshes sideways and off down the alley, "fuck you Birdy."
This played when the cops were chasing Batman instead of Bane after they held up the stock market exchange building. And I think the other half of the track is when Bruce Wayne finally made it out of the prison.
Yes it was. It played during the scene when John Blake tries to convince the officers on the other side of the bridge to let the children on the bus pass.
Where does this play in the movie? Are there bits and pieces scattered or does a good chunk of it play in the movie? Absolutely love this part of the soundtrack
At 4:21=Zimmer uses that six-note instrumentation a lot, albeit with different instruments. I remember it in Crimson Tide, right after Denzel tells Gene Hackman to leave the bridge of the sub.
The greatest Batman of all time with the most epic music to fit! A true Legend and inspiration. Always remember his words and the world will be a better place. - "Batman can be anyone."

1:10 Batman Begins Theme
2:43 Underground Army
3:41 The Fire Rises

5:17 The Fire Rises

2:43 is sinister as hell, I absolutely love this part.
Sounds like it’s for a scene where some soldiers are searching a building or something
Sounds like the soundtrack for Scorpion from the Transformers movie

This song isn't the one we needed, but the one we deserve.
Best soundtrack of the Trilogy
Bravo Hans, Bravo.
Lorne Balfe and Tom Holkenberg, too.
Nolan + Zimmer = Legendary Masterpiece
I hope Zimmer is the composer of Nolan's new movie Dunkirk
Then yeah, we'll expect to hear this quality of music once Dunkirk comes out. =D
it was good but not this good
4:02 to 5:16 is epic as hell. Ominous, yet epic in beats. I like that.
Yeah. The most epic part of this soundtrack

couldn't agree more.
Absolutely agree with you. He is my favourite music composer. I can listen to his music all day long. Do try the main theme of movie 'Rush'
Disagree..
This sound is reality..we who are living in a delusional world!
10 years on and still a masterpiece
"Eight years... and he has to pick tonight."
I love the dark knight rises so much. It always stuck with me the most out of the trilogy or any batman movie for that matter
