WOOOOW! Excellent performance by the individual musicians and the whole orchestra. Perfect sound recording. Camera takes could not be better. My warmest compliments! Beautiful.
@Son Europa Yes, you are absolutely right. It was me, who was not enough clear. I was referring to the parts played by specific musicians, as the harpist, or the oboe, or the violin, and the orchestra lowers their volume. Is it more acceptable after this explanation? About the recording, there are countless professionals doing their jobs, most of them very good. However, I've found this recording exceptionally good. The camera director must know the musical piece like his own hand.... the cameras are focusing individual musicians a tenth of a second before they play their parts. Excellent.!
@Son Europa Some countries seem to have a better support for arts, such as Poland, and South Korea (to name just this two in this moment...) and their "production" can be seen on YT. Regards from Brazil.
This is the audio/video standard that all RUclips videos should have. What an utterly breathtaking experience! Kudos to all who put it together. It paid off.
My favorite piece of music, and as a teacher of music.... just blown away, this is my favorite version now. The soul in the playing here is far beyond their years.
An amazing performance by the youth of Poland. This is a profoundly difficult masterpiece done as well or better than longs time orchestras full of grey haired musicians. Olivia B., the concertmistress is perfect and a joy to hear and watch.. And kudos to the conductor who put this whole number together. This is one of those rare numbers that bring out goosebumps and tears simultaneously. Thank you so much for posting this beauty!!
The kids are wonderful. Many Blessings to them. The Producer and his camera crew need an award forsuch excellent work. Obviously someone was reading the score and directing the cameras. All deserve applause and awards. Well done.
Can someone in the orchestra please let me know if there are any other recordings of this incredible group of young talented people? Please let me know. Thank you in advance!
EVERYTHING about this is 100% top notch - an amazing group of kids, I am blown away at how good they are. Hope they are richly rewarded for bringing this level of beautiful music to everyone. Highest respect and kudos to them all!!! Superb!!
Small wonder that Poland is becoming more and more a developed, rich country; A nation capable of putting together symphonic orchestras made of such young and wonderful musicians is capable of much more!
You know that Poland birthed the greats like Copernicus, Chopin, Skłodowska-Curie, Pope John Paul II, countless Nobel price winners, artists, musicians, composers, mathematicians, chess players, physicists. engineers, writers, poets, doctors, lawyers. Niech żyje Polska!
The second classical piece I was introduced to back in the fifth grade, more than fifty years ago. I've never forgotten it, and it has long been a favorite. This performance is one of the best in my humble opinion. I love the verve and enthusiasm a youth orchestra brings to music, and this particular orchestra is well taught and lead. Thank you for an enjoyable walk through my memories.
I'm back again to hear this wonderfully played music masterpiece! I never tire of hearing this marvelous orchestra play Scheherazade. BRAVO from the US!!
Quels talents!
Hey New York, Philadelphia, and London philharmonic orchestras, you have met your match! You would be hard-pressed to out play these young musicians. You listen to the music and look at their faces and it's heard to believe they don't have 30 years of experience. This is real talent, hearts and souls went in to this performance and it makes my heart proud to see so many young ladies in the orchestra. Bless you girls, you ROCK.
The musicians in the orchestra are between 14 and 19 years old. The conductor is 29 ;-) They are wonderful. 🥰They are pupils of The Wojciech Kilar State Music Schools in Katowice, Poland. They are not students.
Думаю, ну включу послушаю пять минут музыку, переслушанную десятки раз в новом исполнении, но нет. До слушал до конца. Невероятный оркестр из одного молодняка! Благодарю за этот перформанс.
I've listened to plenty of recordings of this piece in the past 50+ years by the top orchestras in the world and this performance was excellent! Right up there with some of the very best. Even Zubin Mehta and the LA Philharmonic which I heard live back in the 70's. Every member of the orchestra deserves a standing ovation.
@@oliviab.4967 Your violin artistry was superb! I regret that it is so hard to find information about the Karol Szymanowski Youth Symphony Orchestra. What is the age range of the members? Is there a place I can find out more about you and the other members of the youth orchestra?
I have listened to and loved Scheherazade for many years and many different versions. I have to say this is one of the best performances I have ever heard. Made even more surprising by the age of the musicians themselves. Just amazing! Videography could not have been done any better either. This is a performance any musician should be proud of, absolutely well done. I am giving you a standing ovation. Thank you for making my evening so enjoyable. My very best to all of you!
Wow. I was born in 1984 and was lucky enough to grab a CD from a remaster of a 1957 recording of Beecham's "Scheherazade" as a young teen. In retrospect, many years and even decades later, became my "standard" where I would compare all the performances I would listen by. I was lucky enough to be around 28 and go into a concert in Brussels featuring a wonderful rendition as well. Now, in the age of internet and RUclips, I can feel this orchestra is likely not the most experienced, lots of young people out here. You know what? They still provide a majestic overall performance. If every young person in their countries can attain this level of individual musicianship and then overall the ability to play together as an orchestra I am overwhelmed and overjoyed in happiness. I'm moved by their performance. Understand, finally, that I have no classical music training whatsoever - I'm just a fan and can feel the overall performance. Cheers everyone. Also: so many girls involved. It's so hard in these to know to properly speak about it - I'm just glad lots of girls are included and seemingly are in it earnestly - all I want is earnest people in it. Cheers.
As a 55 year old father of two fine children, I am moved to tears of hearing these fine youngsters performing excellent! My daughter is now studying opera at the University College of Opera in Stockholm! Be safe and take care of each other!
I've listened to countless 'Scheherazade' performances through the years, but for this kind of performance from such a young group is nothing short of PHENOMENAL!!! I am a retired, performing musician and vocalist and I simply can't get over how fantastic these young people sound and that includes the brilliance of the conductor. So many violinists rush through the amazing violin solos, but this young lady NAILS IT PERFECTLY!! Just listen from the @ mark to the @ mark. Un-freaking-believable! BRAVO!!! It takes countless hours of practice and dedication to achieve just a little something, and that builds up maturity in music and playing. I am fortunate enough be a member of a orchestra just like this. Called "Central Kentucky Symphony Youth Orchestra (CKYO)". 🙂
Great to see such young, skilled and talented Polish musicians playing this beautiful Romantic music by the great master Nikolai Rimsky-Kosakov. Impressive solo violinist!
This and the other Akademia youth orchestras feature musicians who are so focused and intent in their playing--no looseness, no indifferent playing--it's such a pleasure to hear (& watch) them--even when the compositions are not among my favorite. And they look so beautiful in their youth.
My favorite symphonic piece. Thanks to skilful cameramen and directors, I saw the score. During the storm before the shipwreck, I held my breath. Thanks to the conductor and young musicians for the live performance! I wish everyone a happy creative path!

HOW? How can musicians this young be so good? I play in a community orchestra (don't quit the day job, ha ha), am grateful for the opportunity...and then I experience this caliber of musicianship. These young people are scary good.
That was beautifull. Such young, tallented, beautifull people. I can't say , I am a huge fan of classical music, but that was so beautifull, I would be looking now to attend such a concert, and see it live. These young people need to be appreaciated, and supported for their tallents and how much work them, in their spare time after school, and their parents have put into making it all happen for the benefits of the wider society
What an amazing, flawless performance from this school orchestra. This has to be one of the best recordings of Sheherazde. Some superb soloists; the concertmaster, the trumpet, the oboe, the clarinet and the one who rarely gets a mention - the bassoon.
Truly mesmerized. This Polish youth is so utterly talented. And Akademia as always assembling a masterpiece. Love how the conductor acknowledges every one at the end, so classy.
It was like a dream listening to this lovely performance. Every young person should see and listen to this video unfold the truth about how human collaboration is noble and endowed with the promise of creating profound beauty (through discipline and hard work!). Experiencing this performance made me glad to be alive.
These great performers are the Alchemists of exotism. The greatness of their performance is far superior, and an order of magnitude, and full of admiration and emotion, and comfortable to the ear and the mind , especially a solo violinist

Excelente interpretación por esos maravillosos músicos tan jóvenes !!!👏👏👏👏Extremadamente romántica !!! Adoro èsta pieza musical , es mi favorita !!!🙏🙏🙏
I came to this video knowing it would be good, but I've been impressed yet again with the talent of the performing musicians. They truly exceeded my expectations.
I have listened to several renditions of Korsakov's Scheherazade. But this rendition by this fantastic youth orchestra and a young conductor is surely outstanding! I have seen and listened to many orchestras and especially youth orchestras from Poland and their brilliance in playing some complicated symphonies and music by arguably some of the greatest Composers that ever lived is something that will live with me forever! This particular music of Korsakov was brilliantly performed and every Polish people should be proud about! It was evocative and so beautifully performed! I have also seen Faure's Requiem performed by the Young Krakow Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra and it was breathtaking to say the least! I have been to Poland several times particularly the great city of Krakow and I never miss to see a concert while I am there. It's unbelievable that there is such abundant talent especially with the youth. After all it is the land of Chopin! Yes Poland you are doing justice to Chopin!
This can be a marvelous moment for a parent with these beautiful and gifted children. A satisfaction after the terrible twos epoch and the negligent teenage years.
Over a million views, and well deserving of a million more and then some! I will continue to do my part in making sure that number continues to rise. This is just amazing to hear, and watch time after time. Thank you for this!

I second (third, fourth, etc) all the previous compliments to the conductor and whole orchestra, plus the videography, direction, and sound recording. You are all beyond excellent as musicians and artists! Bravo! I would just like to add: Nice touch to having the Scheherazade book on the podium! ^_^
This the first time I've heard this score mastered. All of you played on time even when the composure wrote it against the natural flow and expected sounds. The composure meant for it to be layers of beautiful music somehow harmonizing against yet with all of it. Just beautifully done played and most of all mastered. BRAVO. BRAVO. BRAVO. APPLAUSE. APPLAUSE. To you. Great work !!

Che bello vedere questi giovani che suonano così divinamente. Veramente superlativi. Lunga vita professionale a loro
Magnificent!! All so young, yet wonderful musicians. The Chicago (little Warsaw) or NYC Philharmonic could not do better
Experiencing this performance made me glad to be alive.
why only the young? arent we all young to the world?
These great performers are the Alchemists of exotism.
The greatness of their performance is far superior, and an order of magnitude,
and full of admiration and emotion, and comfortable to the ear and the mind , especially a solo violinist
Just hear those young musicians all in harmony. I’m very impressed, they are a joy to hear!
Riveting. The videographers, audio technicians, Conductor, and composer greatly enhanced the enjoyment of the individual personalities and skill of this wonderful group of talented musicians. Such beautiful young people. What a treat it would be to have been there.

@@AkademiaFilmuiTelewizji Dziekuje bardzo.
Boy oh boy oh boy .. my all-time favourite piece of classical music, performed to perfection!
These kids (young adults) are courageous, heroes. Their teacher must be so proud of them exhibiting such maturity.
💗💗💗
We have a new recording of Mozart's Requiem played by Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra. Maybe you'll like it ruclips.net/video/54h8TxJyNy0/видео.html
This can be a marvelous moment for a parent with these beautiful and gifted children. A satisfaction after the terrible twos epoch and the negligent teenage years.
Special congratulations to the Konzertmeister. She is very talented. I hope all those young people will be able to work in the musical field!
Over a million views, and well deserving of a million more and then some! I will continue to do my part in making sure that number continues to rise. This is just amazing to hear, and watch time after time. Thank you for this!
Life is made up of ups and downs, but at the end it's like this masterpiece that ends with sublime charm.
Thanks to all who made this performance part of my life.

Young Poles doing their thang and playing my favourite classical piece. Life is good.
Like fine wine 🍷 to the ears, and a feast for the Eyes ❤️️
Cheers from Srilanka
You are all someone’s wonderful children and have made many proud! Thank you for your hard work and determination!😘
Youth brings a lilting grace to this marvelous piece of music that is missing in some of the more dramatic and darkly colored renditions. A wonderful interpretation done by truly professional young people, led by a truly wonderful conductor. Many thanks to everyone!
I second (third, fourth, etc) all the previous compliments to the conductor and whole orchestra, plus the videography, direction, and sound recording. You are all beyond excellent as musicians and artists! Bravo! I would just like to add: Nice touch to having the Scheherazade book on the podium! ^_^
Beautifully executed by everyone. My respects to the soloists so much talent and soo many hours of practice and dedication from all of you I bet !
There are so many young people in your orchestra. Congratulations for raising so many young talented people.
Since I was a very young child, this has been one of my favorite pieces and my introduction to the classics. These musicians are to be congratulated on their superb performance. I was so deeply touched listening to this to the point of tears. It brought me back to the many cherished memories of the hours of listening to this music as well as the time spent playing violin in our high school orchestra. Thank you so much to all of you.
Finally, my favourite Scheherazade. Great performance, thank you!
