If you need bigger tap and die set would look at the Pittsburgh harbor freight one the metric goes up to m24 and 1 inch for sae

Before you use then, seperate sae and metric, then paint all sae one color and metric a different color. Easy sorting and picking out.

I always try and talk people out of purchasing sets that large, because the likelihood of making full use is very low to extremely low. Can you give 'us' an _update on the ones that you have used_ so far? How the treading looks now that you've used them?

Hello, I like the big kits. Just so when I run into that odd ball I have it. I did have to buy a die that wasn’t in the kit working on an older Porsche 911. There are many I haven’t used for sure but glad to have them for the day I do. It cuts a pretty good tread. I would definitely buy agin. It is so much more ergonomic and ease of use over the traditional ones. I should do an update. That is a good ideal. Thanks for watching and commenting.
OK, I’m a little confused. I see the one thread repair, and I’m not sure if there are more, or if you are just cleaning the rest of the head bolt holes. It’s probably too late now, but to clean the head bolt holes, I think you need to use a bottoming tap. That’s not what you have in the video. Then all the holes need to be cleaned immaculately. I checked to see if ARP had head studs, but no go on that engine. Make sure you have the right length bolts. I understand Cummins is not good at keeping parts updates for older engines clear and available. Good luck and take care.
So, after I pulled the treads out of a couple holes I drilled them all and heli coiled them. It was kinda a last resort but from machine shops and other people I talked with seems to be a ok solution to the issue I had pulling the treads out. Thanks
