Hi Florrie, I join them by hand as if they were hexagons or with a small ladder stitch 👍🏻

Hi Abbie, I'm wondering if a cardboard template the same size as the square and then ironing the edges over would give a more consistent size square? Wouldn't work on the go though....

As you say, it wouldn’t work on the go which is the reason for the design 🤗
