You’ve got this Julie. Had cancer twice and long sessions of chemo. Yes it is not very pleasant. But by being positive it will get you & Mike through it. Take care & see you out and about soon. 😎
As Mike says, check your cleats, but also check your through axles are still tight. My friends rear wheel came off during a ride! Anyhow, I enjoyed watching your video, will be watching out for the next one.
Haha, this was the last ride before Majorca. I didn't want to waste the video so uploaded it anyway 😁 Our next planned trip is the cycling Mecca of (FCC) Derbyshire 😂 ...🚴..🚴....
I've had the absolute terror of being unable to release my foot from the pedal due to a loose cleat screw, this was approaching a very busy roundabout, luckily it was clear and I went straight through, always check the screws now 😅
Thanks John👍 The extra amount of traffic now is very noticeable and of course Google maps and other apps are using quiet routes more and more so fewer quiet routes for us. BOO!
Excellent 87 mile ride Mike Julie and crew, When do you manage to put all the huge dish of fruit and cream Julie certainly must have been an energy boost. Yes the roads don't get any better mike i hate to ride 23mm wide tyres these days you would get stuck in the cracks like being on tram lines. Have a fantastic week
So far so good, they've taken a good battering over gravel and they feel solid in the corners and under braking on road. Other than that there's really not much to tell... Which is a good thing👍 Cheers for the comment
Hi , watching this video Julie’s saddle looks a little to high ? You can see the way her hips go from side to side . She is losing a bit of power too , and she well be more comfortable. I hope this helps ?? Kev
Thanks for the observation. Julie tends to pull on the up stroke too so she can look like she's rocking. I will check though... Cheers for the comment 👍
Hi , thank you for getting back to me, I see she also rides with her toes , I do too . We all have our ways of riding our bikes . I was just trying to help her out. Can thank you for your videos. I look forward to seeing them. I’ve been riding bikes for 55 years from the age of 11 and I have now retired and have a medical condition, but I still love riding my bike . Please keep the videos coming you both do fantastic work. Many thanks Kev

Looks like a great, sunny fun ride! Love watching you!
Thank you Joy, 👍🚴🏻♀️🚴🏻♀️we do enjoy ourselves. 😊👌🌞
Summer has finally arrived, hope it lasts. We used to say back in Estonia that "Summer is my favorite week of the year!" 😆
😂 yes Thomas, let's hope summer to lasts longer than a week... Thanks for watching
Yes, summer has arrived - it's cold, wet and windy
That's not on is it. So far so good for us. Thanks for watching👍
Great spin down through the forest to Lymington. Lovely part of the world.
Couldn't agree more, we're very lucky. Cheers for the comment 👍

Wow! Not had a problem with the thru axles so definitely noted. Thanks for the comment👍
Well done on the small fruit bowl .
Haha Chris! 😃 It was so good! 👍
As ever - great ride!
Thank you Mick👍
15:15 I recommend the Redshift stem
Thanks for commenting. A good solution for our rough pothole roads👍
That ride looked brilliant, lots of nice roads, scenery and weather! Julie mentioned Mallorca at the end, are you going again already?

Scary... But a great reminder. Thanks for the comment👍
That was a very nice long ride. Beautiful weather out there.
After watching the gravel rides, the amount of cars on the roads is quite jarring
Thanks John👍 The extra amount of traffic now is very noticeable and of course Google maps and other apps are using quiet routes more and more so fewer quiet routes for us. BOO!
Beautiful place to cycle ❤
That Cortina must have been going to Beaulieu
Yes it probably was. The vintage cars we see now are cars we remember 😅 Thanks for watching 👍

Cheers Terry... 23mm tyres just sounds awful, glad those days are in the past. Maybe we are spoilt with high volume and fast modern tyres...
Mike how are your elite wheels holding up over time??
So far so good, they've taken a good battering over gravel and they feel solid in the corners and under braking on road. Other than that there's really not much to tell... Which is a good thing👍 Cheers for the comment
@WheelersAtLarge many thanks for the reply!. Its hard to find real world long term tests on things sometimes!.
