Paul made my day! Did anyone notice his Win Rate? It is 22.45%, WTF??!! 😱 That just proves that you don't have to show off an 85% or 90% Win Rate, with nowhere near the PROFIT Paul makes. It just blows my mind! Paul has a win rate less than 30%, yet made a half one million dollars PROFIT in one month!! That is phenomenal! Bravo Paul!! I want to be like you when I grow up!! I guess that’s why he’s going to be very wealthy, he doesn’t spend money on things he doesn’t need. If he doesn’t need a lot of indicators, why pay for services you don’t need? 😂 Wealthy people maintain their wealth by being frugal. But, it doesn’t cost a lot for a decent mic….😂that’s less than $100.

I’ve been trading on and off since 2015. I finally picked it back up a month ago. I needed a break to clear my mind. Then I heard about getting funded and I really went for it. I haven’t taken the challenge yet, but this week I profited 30% on my 100k demo with 1% risk. Barely any draw down on my wins and 1k max losses. Idk how I’m seeing the charts so different and how I’m able to control my emotions but cheers to all the traders out there. I pray all of you become financially free ❤️🙏

30% on a 100k account is 30k. and you only need to make 5% to pass the demo. did you mean to say 3% profit? Because if you are up 30k on a 100k demo account, I think you are more than ready for a real account

I'm sorry for your experience with SMC traders, but I'd just like to say that SMC works well for me, and that its never the strategy that matters, its always the trader
@@callmebix SMC itself is completely fine, it's just basic price action with different terms. I myself trade in a very similar way. So the style works imo.
The issue I have is all the fake gurus claiming to "trade like the banks" or whatever marketing slogan. It's a style of trading I associate with grifters who can't actually trade. For instance, people like ICT blow accounts and fake withdrawals yet claim to know special secrets that separate them from the retail crowd. It's just all nonsense.

This result is quite amazing. Weldone Paul!
So I did a little analysis based on Paul's result and here is what I found out and it is most likely how he also was able to achieve this.
if you had a 300K account (like he does) and you took the total of 383 trades (like he did) and you had a win rate of 22% (like he had) to achieve the result of aprox 168% profit like he did, all you need do is risk 0.1% per trade targeting 20R trades.
Often times what gets we traders trading prop firm accounts is that we exhaust the loss thresholds of these accounts before our edge can play out in our favour.
Paul simply reduced his risk to the bearest minimum and took a shit ton of trades to enable his edge play out. from His average loss of 339.09 (aprox 0.11% risk per trade) it is obvous he was risking 0.1% per trade
Dude took a total of 383 trades and was risking about 0.1% per trade, had a 22% win rate and ended up with a 168% profit in one month. above everythinng else he applied a robust risk management strategy that gave him this resounding win.

I disagree. Telling by how he doesn’t say how much he risks. I think he is risking quite a bit by his FTMO trade history. Appears to be scaling into trades that move in his favor before getting a big move. Looks like he takes profits on some to pay himself and let the rest run. He had quite a bit good trading streaks and it paid off.
Well said Chuks and thank you for breaking it down for us. You are right as I have been able to grow my $100,000 demo account to $102,159 in one month. When I tried to take almost as many trades at the same 0.01 level with my live account it didn't fair as well so I adjusted the settings on my software for my live account trades. Also, I wouldn't dare trade currency pairs on an account with less than a $100,000 balance and even then I just trade the CHFJPY at 0.01 and not more than 0.03. Drawdown is the real enemy of a retailer's trade next to greed!

That means he lost 78% of trades, 383 X 78% = 298 trades lost. 298 trades X $300 = $89,400. On a 300k account, max drawdown he is able to take is 30k. I wonder how he was able to stay in the positive with that win rate percentage. Unless he had a great winning streak in the beginning?
Wow almost 10 years of trading experience. That is amazing work. I can't wait to be in that long. I'm 2 years into the forex market and just discovered funded trading! Im up 5% so far on the 100k ftmo challenge. This will be a life changer. All this time pays off in the markets and it's an amazing process of self growth and mindset improvment as well.

I comeback to this video for motivation and insite alot, I passed my 200k challenge but failed verification a few days ago, but I know what I did wrong and I'm not mad, I'm currently on a 100k account and plan on passing both phases soon

what an insightful video. I'm impressed by how Paul went from a dip hole to climb up the mountain. A lot of ppl would quit and probably never touch trading again after massive losses with savings and his spouse's IRA account. That stress is real.... But he didn't give up. That's very inspirational!

I Hope this helps to clear the misconception that these "SMC" traders are using to market to people to sign up for their courses that "Retail" Strategies don't work. Most strategies and models have to the potential of working if you have done your due diligence and can follow your trading plan day in day out.
Paul and other FTMO traders are living testaments to that.
SMC/ICT are the prop firms favorite strategies, because most lose. The reason there are so many SMC/ICT trading courses or 'mentors' out there is due to the simple fact that it doesn't work, if it did then they wouldn't teach.

It’s not about what strategy you use, me personally I trade SMC but at the end of the day it’s about perfecting your strategy. Backtesting 500 trades and forward testing 500 trades until your strategy is fully refined. There are traders that make millions off just a moving average. Master your trap, it’s not a get rich quick scheme

it is funny, that line he use to measure the up wave then drag it to show target is the "rule of thumb" of how people normally use ATR to set target. basically this target is 1ATR of whatever timeframe fit the upwave, really cool knowledge I learn

Great guy, such an amazing example. I can’t say that one day I’ll be record breaker on FTMO but i can promise I’ll scaling my ftmo account to $2M.
Wrong imo opinion..... Don´t go into challenges thinking/forcing yourself that it will change your life. It COULD, and CAN, but to eliminate the emotional pressure I suggest to just seeing it as ¨one trade¨. If you pay 600 usd for a 100k challenge, just think of it as a potential small $600 loss. I did 4 challenges, failed them all because i put all this pressure on myself because ¨it´s live changing¨. Then.... I just thought about it as a minor investment, my confidence exploded, and I passed 2 in a row without any problems.

However, to state he is primarily a fundamental trader and then to offer up the fundamental explanation he did has me questioning - maybe he just got his words confused a few times and had trouble putting it into an explanation. 41:00 I found to take profit at 100% (double top) or to take almost 75% of my profit at 1.272 level. More often than not, the price pulls back from 1.272 before heading higher to the next fib levels. I urge everyone to check 1.272 level that is not even set by tradingview by default and that's pity avoiding the most critical level

I wonder, though, if it tells you more than multiple timeframe analysis...if you're looking for trend direction, wouldn't that carry as much weight? Maybe not...I guess this is like reading the tape/Level 2 in stocks.
