My neighbour (an older lady) safes all the water she needs to clean vegetables etc in the kitchen sink- she puts a box in her sink and later she gives this water to her plants in the garden. Maybe you love that idea? 😉
When washing the vegetables there is always a small bucket next to me where the water from cleaning the vegetables comes in so that I pour my rooms and garden tubs plant a little strength and it is already effort but I feel very good I know that I do not have that world save nevertheless i have contributed something good for our earth afterwards

Will you start doing some canning soon, with your larger property? I know you freeze and dehydrate foods. I never peel my potatoes and carrots, has extra nutrition and fiber, just a good scrubbing! Saves time too. With the kraut dish I usually squeeze our most the moisture (use a nut bag or towel) then add to a dish. I make an Italian winter soup with kraut. Looked good! You can give your juicing pulp to the chickens!

And I love the trinity blend of vegetables (Mirepoix, I think-I'm not sure)🧅🥕🥬 that was put into the ground Turkey! 🦃A juicer is smart for making drinks, especially for breakfast and lunch!🧡💚 My potatoes always got peeled before cooking them, but to see that you can peel them afterwards, it seems to be easier that way(plus running water over them while peeling)-very cool!🥔 I am going to try making that Marble Breakfast Cake🍰! Yes, make sure it has a wide mouth easier to clean and use! Either way is good with the potatoes but as far as I know if they are cooked in their skin keeps more nutrition and flavor in there plus under the cold water you can peel it fast! Have a great weekend to you! 🤗💗

HI Noemi, I was wondering if you have a (Compost bin) in your kitchen? Their great for keeping food peelings, hair from your hair brush, used tissues, bones, crumbs, leftover food, lint from the vacume cleaner, any edible's. Everything that you collect can be put straight to the chicken outdoor roaming area (apart from bones) or scattered in your garden to help with good soil development or you can simply collect and put into your green compost council bin. Its a great incentive. I hope this inspires your love for home making:)
Yummmmmm stuffed cabbage rolls... even though there was sauerkraut juice everywhere it still looks delicious (I love sauerkraut stinky sewer smell and all!😄😄) Those tomato sauce jars would make nice spice jars for ones you use a lot of like salt and pepper ,chili powder etc

There is not a day that goes by in our household where Sauce splatters on the ceiling or chicken bones go flying around cuz I took my eyes off it while deboning it. I love how you show all the little accidents..thank you for including it all❤️😊. It makes me smile and it’s so relatable. There is not a day that goes by in our household where Sauce splatters on the ceiling or chicken bones go flying around cuz I took my eyes off it while deboning it.
Ps : following your footsteps I’ve been trying to clean and cut my veggies as soon as I bring them home. It’s amazing how’s much easier it makes my weekdays. Also I waste less 😊
