I never would have thought something like this could ever be possible in Jak and Daxter
The future is now.
From debug menu discovery, to OpenGOAL Jak 1 AND Jak 2, to online multiplayer -- it's outrageously impressive what the Jak community and it's devs have done so far. Most popular retro game communities are much larger and have taken decades to get close to this level or beyond.

@whitestararmada103 It doesn't matter at this point in time because most of the people that worked on the Jak and Daxter series have left Naughty Dog by now. In fact, the series's creator and Naughty Dog co-founder Jason Rubin left his company after Jak 3. At this point, I don't trust Naughty Dog at all to make another Jak and Daxter game.

Idea:
Team vs. Team mode
Team 1 spawns at the Sentinel Power Cell in Sentinel Beach.
Team 2 spawns at the Island Cell in Forbidden Jungle
(Geyser Rock accessible using Portals only)
Power Cells: 100 points
Scout Flies: 10 points
Precursor Orbs: 1 point
Final Boss: 500 points for first team to clear with all members
Unlocks unlock for both teams at once (e.g., one team does Fisherman, 20 total cells collected for Fire Canyon, etc.)
Allows for strategies in terms of stealing areas, or even sniping the 7th scout flies. Do you even take the time to go to Geyser Rock? Do you wait at Fire Canyon? Do you retaliate such a wait by prioritising orbs as the other team? Etc.
Game ends when all collectibles are collected or a win is guaranteed due to not enough collectibles left to change the outcome.

@@jonahbrown5669 Yeah, but you can enter and exit the vehicles and fight other players on foot with everything from the Scatter Gun, Blaster, Vulcan, and Super Nova to Light Jak and Dark Jak! Maybe even the Titan Suit!

You know if OpenGOAL isn't sure still about porting Jak X Combat Racing to PC after how fast Jak 3 already got decompiled, they should have a reason now with this mod added in! if multiplayer got figured out for Jak 1 and 2 now for a single player game???!!! That game should be a piece of cake to add in online multiplayer into the game. This looks crazy fun.

Anyone knows what the issue with the spider cave is ? On multiplayer i get stuck at 185
Do you have to stay within the same zone as the host?
You have an option to toggle whether you all need to be in the same level when collecting power cells, so it’s possible to roam freely, just depends on which setting the lobby creator chose 👍
