Pete York (Spencer Davis Group, Helge Schneider) - drumtalk [episode 57]

Mr. Super Drumming and drummer for German jazz comedian Helge Schneider and Spencer Davis Group -- the great Pete York! I remember watching the late 80's German TV show "Super Drumming" on the telly and later on DVD. It was created by this fine gentleman here and is one of the reasons why I started to do this programme. So it was both an honour and a real pleasure to have Pete in my show. Enjoy some words of wisdom and of pure joy.

I remember being at a Helge show many years ago and not knowing about Pete (I didn't know that much of Helge's music back then). When he came on and did his thing I was blown away by his energy and charisma. Great drummer.
