In conclusion to this video, the reasons why there are some expesnisve boots & some really cheap boots is all due to quality. Like mike said, as the price of a boot drops so does the quality. 👍🏾
@@lils2968 if anything take this to account. Higher you pay in the chain. Quality is World Class. Comfort and material is superior for longer years (3-6 years). Cheaper models are also good but due to the lower quality. This can lead to discomfort or injuries possibly. Usually these boots don't last longer than a 1-2 year. An investment of 40-80 bucks down the drain. Always recommend higher ends. Simply save up and buy a pair; bad boys will last a good 3-6 years depending of how you take care of them. Money well spent then again as I said simply a recommendation.
@@Someonesbootycheeks I don't think what you are saying is true. Higher-end boots tend to be lighter in terms of weight, thus making them last shorter. I recently got Copa .1s, and they have lasted much less than any other .3 boot I have gotten. I don't know if that is just Adidas, but that is my experience with boots.
I switched to the high-end tier of Adidas Predators because the cheaper version of the shoes were burning hot when I played on turf in a hot day. The materials made a huge difference, as they stayed cooler. They may have some positive placebo effect. For sure I was able to start shooting harder and have less ankle injuries. Also less blisters and less sore feet. I've had the same high-end boots for 11 years now playing twice per week most of the time. Less expensive boots are good when you're finding your playing style, position, or still growing. Once you know your style, ex: speed, dribbler, or want to be a strong shooter, and your feet won't grow, then get shoes that will last you forever and they'll be well worth it as you age.
@@rozett6972 nowadays all nice cleats are light so I'd just look for small studs. Nike vapors or what CR7 uses or Naymar used to would match a speedster style
Ok so I'm 16 and I bought a brand new pair of asics (do asics make Rugby boots, football boots, or both) right when the covid lockdowns here in Australia started. I haven't play a single game just training for the last 4 months, and already the innersole is manky and the toe of the boot is peeling off from the sole. What boots can I find that don't do this. Also this happened with my last pair which were the cheap version of predator.
In my life I’ve had a lot of cheap football boots until I got older and I realized that I wanted the more expensive ones not because it would make me play better but because they looked better. And I’ve never worn a cheap football boot ever since Ps: good football boots make me feel better so automatically make me play better
that's so true, I don't know if it is placebo effect but when I play with my high end boots I just feel faster and overall better, it just motivates me

It all comes down to preference... best value for money is always a top end boot that's on sale maybe an old color way or previous model but for me personally I go with the Pro tier from Nike cause the quality is still good as it incorporates a lot of tech from the higher end elite tier and I get the latest color way.. I currently have a pair of vapor 13 pro in the new lights pack colorway and everyone on my team thinks it's the elite variant
@@bappycsedu4382 the same thing applies to the knock down version...always buy the previous versions....I've gotten 160 boots for 40 bucks just because they are considered old or last year version...who cares if it's last year's version
I would also recommend getting boots at retail or I can’t example it very well but when people buy boots and resell them at a lower price. I got my Superflys for $70. Full price was $200.
I like a good leather boot at around 100€. At the moment im playing in the Nike Premier 2s and modify them on my own in a Francesco Totti Style, with the big flap over tongue to make them feel like a pair of slippers. So in my opinion you have to make sure that you get what you like the most and that doesnt has to be the latest top end model. Just make sure that you like the fit and the feel.
I got the new superfly 7 pro that says engineered for speed for 90 Euros and they are amazing, I've been keeping my money for one month and i bought them, just keep your money and don't spend it on stupid things and one day you'll buy them😉
I always respect a player who doesn't care and performs amazing. Yet I think what people do wrong is not save up for the best pair and which is a saver for 4-6 years. By then you'll have enough to get a new pair. I don't really recommend lower ends since the durability is risky on the pitch and also material is cheaper as he stated. This usually lead to injuries or discomfort since the materials are cheaper. Just something to think about before paying your hard earn money; unless your a child go practice ask for cheaper models since your footies are still growing.
I know someone who wears X .3 models. One of the best on my Uni team. Top end boots really don't mean all that much of you're not an actual professional.
Can you make a video on when buying a heavily discounted older model makes more sense and how to identify those opportunities? For instance if the Copa 19+ is discounted to ~100€ while the 20+ is retailing at 200€+ then I suppose it’s a no brainer the 19+ is the way to go. Just like cars really I suppose, where buying the latest model makes no sense over a year (or more) old model for the best bargain.
With a child (14 years old) who plays on a high level soccer team, they are playing on both natural grass and artificial turf fields. She has been playing with the Nike Mercurial MG cleats since I wanted a pair of cleats that would work on both surfaces to help protect from injury. Is that a safe way to go, or should I just invest in 2 pair - an AG set and an FG set?
I have the mercurial vapor 13/vapor 12 from Nike and they are good, I have them in a indoor court version and they are nice, I really like them a lot. I think the boots choice will only depend on the price, but The only problem I got with those are blisters from time to time on the vapor 12,not any problems with the vapor 13 yet. I will buy a pair of vapor 13 academy next year too for sure
My family can afford the expensive boots but I tell them to get me the cheaper one. It doesn’t matter what your wearing all it matters is who is doing the magic inside the boots
I do the same thing I used to get the superfly 6 pro which was an amazing football boots and really just go all out on the goalkeeper gloves get a cheaper pair for training and an expensive pair for matches
If I were someone who is in a team that is serious I would aim for the pros and the elites from Nike because they are both really good but if u can get the elites but if u can’t get the pros because they offer high end tech at a low price
After about 8 years of struggling to find "the one" football boot, I finally have a pair of Nike Elite-tier boots. I think it goes for everything from sports equipment to musical instruments; if you want a much better performance and faster development, pay whatever it costs. P.S. I probably spent like 300€ over the years for more than 10 pairs and always felt that "something" could be better
