love this movie so much, the end still moves me... i wonder why Brady didn't got as much attention from other directors cos he proved to be a great actor too imho in this particular movie, i really love both characters...
Haha why is everyone hating on Brady? Keep in mind that he's about 7 years younger than Joseph and obviously a lot less experienced when it comes to interviews. Cut him some slack. His accent thing was a little weird though, I have to admit. But whatever. As long as they keep up the great acting I'm happy.
Brady is very articulate. He is making sure to get his response across very clearly. I understand him perfectly. Joseph is more short worded and relaxed with his speaking. (I do hear a bit of an accent in Brady) I wonder. Also, the point of an interview is to get the person speaking a lot! So when you write you, you'll have a lot to work off of.
I think you guys need to realise that these two barely know each other. They only shot one scene together in the movie, that was the first time they had ever actually met and had a conversation. They just look tired.
I don't think that Brady and Joseph DISLIKE each other... I think it may be down to the fact that at the time the film was being made, Brady was 16 and Joseph was 23. They may not get on just because there was a large age difference between them both, not much common ground perhaps?
I think that's why he was able to continue doing HS movies while simultaeneously playing characters that are doctors or assassins. Hescher is the only movie where he really looked his age or slightly older and it was becuse of the hard-lived look he had.
Can anyone explain wby this movie is classed as LGBTQ+? It is about child abuse. Maybe child abuse is seen as depending whether a child likes it or not. A child is unable to deal with adult intimacy, however "caring or loving" the abusers think they are.
i read it as simply as this. joseph looks a tad uncomfortable sitting next to brad, but i don't think it's for any reason other than the age difference. i think it's clear he doesn't take him as seriously judging by his facial expressions, it almost looks to me as if he finds it funny, since maybe he's been in show business longer? and brady clearly is attracted to joseph, which might also add to the tension, but joe doesn't look too much into that. i found the interview intriguing. ;]
Did anyone else notice how focused Brad was when Joe was speaking? Body language says a lot and by the way Brad was Licking his lips and repeatedly pulling his bangs out of his eyes it appears as if he had a little "thing" for Joe. But who could blame him? Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the sexiest thing in Hollywood right now. I was amused to see how serious he was throughout this whole interview. And despite the fact that he played a convincing gay in the movie, I haven't a doubt in my mind that he'
@CharmingSage i heard somewhere that he was seen with a guy so maybe no, hes not straught? i wish though. it would completely break my heart if he was gay (not that im against homosexuals, i jus happen to b a dtraight girl who too loves jgl)
I wanted to hear Joe talk about his character. This gave me the impression that Brady is a self-centered bastard. I think Joe doesn't like him too much, LOL.
Thumbs up to the interviewers for not only asking questions like 'Ooooh, what was it like to play a gay character????'
Brady Corbett voice is so soft, I love it

JGL played the more "cooler", more "Brandoesque" character. Brady was more nerdy and not as glamorous.

such articulate young men, best to them both.

You all are so mean to Brady. I think they are both talented and nice.
Brady has a strange, moving accent. At one point he was really British and then southern and then Irish and I don't even know.
I watched MS yesterday for the first time and i firmly believe JGL is such a great actor. He seems to me a better actor day by day
AMAZING ACTING IN A MOVIE THAT IS PURE ART.....
So Brady talks a lot, big deal. He is expressing himself. He's an amazing actor and actually sounds a little nervous. Big deal.
literally
they are both so amazing but I do agree there is a bit of tension between them you can tell by their body language and eye contact, they're so cute
I'm wondering if Brady Corbett was getting on Joseph Gordon-Levitt's nerves or if something else was annoying him.
Haha. He's not shirt, sweet and to the point like Joseph. You can tell he enjoyed his time in filming it. So he has a lo to share. You know.
joe looks really young for a 23 here.
Lol, 0:54 Joseph's just like 'But I'm not finished!' )=
joseph looks like he almost fell asleep while brady was talking.
just like "damdidamdam, damdidam dam... "
I like Brady as a young teen in "THIRTEEN" better. ;0
Amazing Amy my favorite movie!
OH SHIT THAT WAS HIM
I think that's why he was able to continue doing HS movies while simultaeneously playing characters that are doctors or assassins. Hescher is the only movie where he really looked his age or slightly older and it was becuse of the hard-lived look he had.
oh man, i think brady is just a little bit nervous...^^
he said he went through 'post-partum' depression?? :)) if it was a joke it was very funny

omg joseph is about to fall asleep lmao
he went through post partum depression hahaahah, hes funny.
I found this movie on the internet and found it extremely moving. It was also disturbing.
@JuPaschoal I suppose I can see that. Hopefully 7 more years of exposure to the industry humbled him.
That gay dude definitely hit on Gordan
Both are talented but Brady talks a lot without saying anything.

My goats
i wish joe got to talk more, he had to like fight to get a word in
if brady was my teacher, i would sleep a lot in his class
Post-partum depression? Pfft! Hahahahaha!
@DimebagsLeftToe Exactly, exactly, and you can see Joe feels the same, I love it.
@Sophique just listen there's some wise words actually
@soofunnny lol yeah I think so he is fucking awesome! the same happened to me in Math class.
Why is Brady staring at Joe so hard 😭
Why does Brady Corbett sound South African 😊
LOL Joe is all "OMG this guy is so obnoxious!" LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO
@notthatbasic i am too
@notthatbasic so am I to be honest
@soofunnny I bet he was wishing he would rofl
@I4gotmyMANTRA LMAO I noticed that too! He got on my nerves too, so you know I don't blame him...
@CharmingSage i heard somewhere that he was seen with a guy so maybe no, hes not straught? i wish though. it would completely break my heart if he was gay (not that im against homosexuals, i jus happen to b a dtraight girl who too loves jgl)
@CharmingSage I can see him being bi, but he definitely likes girls at least :-P
I think Joe doesnt seem to like Brady too much because he talks a lot of bullshit.
I wanted to hear Joe talk about his character. This gave me the impression that Brady is a self-centered bastard. I think Joe doesn't like him too much, LOL.
I just don't like Brady Corbet. idk, I just.... don't. :|
Joe is great though, definitely x]
OMG who is he to talk about shitty movies???
Um... post-partum depression? Really?
What!!!!!? He wasn't articulate AT ALL. He could barely string a sentence together.
