Man's got a good taste in fighting games, respect. Plus, compare him to Fallon, who regularly talks video games but laughed when JGL compared SF2 to chess. One of these two knows what he's talking about...

uh... yes... when you start getting into high-level play, SF is totally a chess game. You are always trying to out think your opponent and try and guess what is in his/her mind, what they are going to do and plan ahead for it... It's crazy when you hear what is going on in the mind of a "Pro"... crazy stuff.

Well you can't expect them to all react as SF gamers do and gasp, but i guess during the conversation he mentioned Mortal Kombat and other stuff that they must generally know what Street Fighter 2 is so he opened up interest into it if they didn't already know.
But saying SF is like saying; Donkey Kong, Pacman or SuperMario Bros, i'm sure there was 70% recognition when he said it on Fallon's show anyways. And mad props to JGL for being a SF fan, the man is a class act 100%.

Dude, you gotta get on that Third Strike it's fuckin' KILLER! I played three matches with a friend and now I'm playing it every day with hardcore vets who parry half my moves.
Much props to Levitt for recognizing that SF is a deep game. However other fighting games are from being just 'gimmick's especially Tekken. That game is hard af and highly strategic.
Bruh, Akuma is in Tekken 7. How bout we duke it out and see which game is the real gimmick yo!
