Please look up the Corpus Christi abandoned court house! You must check it out before its demolished in a couple of years :( I've told you about it before and I'd love to see it! I pass by it every week but I don't even know how to get in:(
There was a asylum near my grandparent's house a LONG time ago. It was torn down and now there are houses in its place. At first it was an asylum but then it became a hospital during the polio epidemic. After polio died down, there was no reason to keep it up and running. I'm not sure what year they tore it down but there's really cool history behind it. Our whole family on my mom's side grew up in Kaukauna which is where the building was. My grandparents actually grew up near the hospital. It's just crazy to think that places like that existed. If you want to look it up type in 'Asylum in Kaukauna, Wisconsin'
Nooooo! Not the end of this video !! lol.You are a true man of your craft.Leave them wanting more. And we DO! Josh,,you are a truly wonderful artist and humanitarian.I love your eye for the points of interest that others might miss.I love your compassion for the people and places who's prime time have passed. You've already made an impact on this world and I have no doubt that you will continue to do great things.
Yes Candy! This man sees the world differently than most and my man Josh is the buckest bombest urbexer around yo! Word up Josh. My kids love you and I don't back out of the website when they catch me watching!
+Raquel Perez I live in a small town called Brunswick which is near Jekyll, but Jekyll and Savannah are not close at all. Now from Atlanta idk how long it would take to get to Jekyll, a few hours im certain. But we really dnt have that much to do here to be honest, coming from a big city to where I am, you'd be bored as hell. Are you interested in Savannah because it has some haunted history/abandoned buildings?
I know this is like four years later but I just watched another video (the Penn hill resort one) and he was pronouncing golf like “galf” and it was so irritating as he kept on saying it! 😂
JustMatt I wish Georgia had more abandoned stuff. TWD is shot almost (if not fully) entirely in Georgia so we miss out on a lot of really awesome places to shoot.
Hey Josh! Just wanted to tell you that I'm so happy that I found your channel about a month ago. Your content is amazing, so keep up the good work. Btw loved the Chernobyl series! Peace from Denmark!
+Exploring With Josh I know how you feel about about racing to see stuff before it disappears. There's a place in the UK, where I live called 'Pyestock NGTE'. It was near Farnborough. I'd say it's easily the most craved urbex location among people in England, a real bucket list place. Its only 65-70 miles from me and I always meant to go there but wanted someone to go with. I never made it. I'm fukin devastated. Its all gone now. ...such a shame. I regret not going there so fukin much.
I got another fan today. today at school I showed my other friend a video and my friend who is a fan (because of me) said she has to watch it. she loved it and now she knows why I always talk about the crew!
I think he was saying "Caf", short for cafeteria rather than café. It made me stop for a bit too until I remembered that we used to call it the exact same thing back in school.
You'd he surprised how many are around you I've been in plenty sense I was a kid found cool shit too lol I laugh when they don't steal the cool shit they find
+Samii Anair when I was growing on back roads in Maryland there was lots of them usually outside of towns and stuff where there weren't cops ether because it is kinda illegal lol.
u wer talking about how stuff gets demolished before you can see it and how it sucks but youve seen so many places youve gone places most people haven't i want to go to all those places but im still young their all gonna be torn down or demolished and long forgotten the one place i wish i could go if it was the last thing i could ever do i could only go 1 place id pick Nara DreamLand in Japan its beautiful and forgotten by most people its the one place i wanna go but apparently they wanna demolish it next year so i guess even if i one day travel the world not going their will be my one regret and id die knowing i never truly followed my dream
I subscribed yesterday, I really love your videos I find them so interesting and they make me wanna go exploring, keep doing what you do because your videos are great ❤️
My university is in a 19th century asylum, and it's creepy as hell even with lighting, air conditioning and nice(ish) paint. It has a basement with only one access door that's always kept locked, but through the window in the door you can see tally marks scratched into the walls. I'm so keen to go down there but also nope nope nope (⊙﹏⊙✿)
I think you were mistaken on the Xray table ,Im pretty sure that was an embalming table complete with a drain and running water to rinse all the blood down the drain !m Cheers , luv your vids!
Was this Norwich State Hospital? in CT? Edit: i saw the blueprint, it is Norwich! i live right next to this place. Had the privelage of exploring there before they started tearing building down in the 90's and early 2000's. It looks like you were in the much nicer, less run down part. I believe they tore the building in this video down last year. Every summer i walk to the reservoire of this place for fishing largemouth. I remember playing hide and seek with the roving security truck on the grounds trying to not get caught. There's underground tunnels that lead form building to building there, which i can tell you from experience are muddy, and so dark and long that the light from your flashlight just drowns out into black. Very creepy stuff. Glad you guys didnt get caught.
I have no idea why I would take a gun with me if I was to go urban exploring. It seems extreme and perhaps grossly unnecessary but I wouldn't go in without one.
At 10:07, that isn't a 'Satanic' star. It's a Pentagram, which is a Pagan symbol. Granted, the people who spray painted it on that door were probably trying to be 'cool' and 'dangerous', but as a Pagan, we need the truth about the Pentagram spread. For those that don't know, the Pentagram represents the elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit.
i'd love to visit an old opera house as well!! Because of you, i'm seriously thinking about doing some urbex myself. I really think that visiting these places, taking pictures/video is giving these places respect. Anyways, great job as always! Keep on keepin' on!
Hey Exploring With Josh, I don't know if you'll see this, but I wanted you to know I love your videos. Your enthusiasm is contagious, and you make these abandoned and "lost" places come alive with your commentary and history of what they once were. I think that's a very important addition to your videos and hope you'll continue to add that. I find it really disturbing that the people who worked (owned/managed) these locations would leave records behind that contained the personal information of either employees or patients/students. I'm certainly no legal specialist, but I would think it would be obvious that whoever was responsible for this could actually be cited. Its scary to think I might be a patient in a Dr's building, or an employee somewhere, and if the building is ever abandoned, my personal info could be up for grabs to whomever can get in the place! Thanks for your marvelous work!
New viewer - the Chernobyl stuff got me hooked. You do brilliant and I loved your team up with Dan Bell. This is one beauty of a place and you'd show respect :)
Josh, you should try some of the abandoned places in Ireland. I've been around eight of the places in Galway and it is fair to say that the views of the city and the growth inside the buildings that I have been in just makes you truly understand how much the human race effects nature but just how fast nature comes back to take over its territory. These buildings have paint peeling from walls, the glass windows having small cracks in them with the leaves of trees growing through those cracks. When in them you can see just how beautiful these places once were while in their prime. Many places will be gone by November as scheduled for putting up new apartment blocks. In my opinion it would be well worth your time to visit and see the history that will soon be forgotten. If needs be, I can send you some images of a couple of the places I'll be visiting over the next two months. Ireland does have its scary buildings but in reality I think you'd enjoy some of them. The better off the bunch would be in Leitrim and in Athlone. That is where you can get the best of the best as they have very little people bunched together as you would see in the cities. Please do check some places out over here. If you do read this, thank you for taking the time out of your day to recognise this comment.
There used to be this house that my girlfriend grew up in and the recent owners were drug addicts; they had a meth lab in the attic and everything. We both found the house and it was scheduled to be torn down because the amount of needles in it was so much that the entire house was basically contaminated. So we suited up and went in there, and the furniture was still there, there was nasty moldy ass coffee on the table and the remote control was just casually sitting next to it. These people destroyed this house, wallpaper was peeling and used needles were everywhere. In the sink, on the kitchen table, bags of them were in the refrigerator. We're talking like, 20 gram bags full of them. Under beds, in the shower, under rugs. A week later, we went up on a hill and watched it get torn down. That house was so beautiful and so big, so many great memories; that's where I picked her up for prom and that's where I'd go when my parents were fighting. And to see it get destroyed and torn down was very heartbreaking. In the 6 years I've been doing this, nothing hits home more than seeing something get destroyed knowing you were JUST there.
i love that you respect the history and the story of the locations you visit, makes it feel like a movie, and each location isn't just you walking in filming and leaving. its researched before hand, prepared for, known, respected, appreciated and each area is mentioned with accurate information, I love getting to learn what you are experiencing, love it. :)
That really look like it must have been a beautiful place back in the day. With the sun shinning through the windows unto the wood floors and brick walls it really brings one back to another era! Thanks for sharing the journey Josh, keep it up.
Here in Italy, near where I live, there's an abandoned subterranean american military base... There's a ton of stuff left there, even old cans of food... and so many papers with private military informations about people and missions... You would love that place!
+ty decker So that makes him speak incorrectly? He has many other videos and all of them contain misguided attempts at pronunciation, structuring sentences and random ideas about things he tries to explain.
that refrigerator at 9:30, i have the exact same one. they cost about $250.00 new. (mine still had the price inside the door. that refrigerator is a Frigidaire made by general motors corp. (look it up). cant be sure on the year but you are close.
Please check out the abandoned theater "Teatro Opera" in Mexico City. It's architecture is Art Deco and it would be fantastic to explore. It's history is breathtaking!
these buildings must have been beautiful once. I love the still shots. u all have a good eye. it would be nice to see them all together in a collection.
There are a lot of abandoned buildings in Rhode Island. You should really check some out. On Narragansett beach there is a abandoned stone house and it has the most beautiful view. I think you would really like it!
Top tip for your Mask. Change the cartridges regularly as moisture in your breath can bread fungus spores inside them. This can be as bad as breathing in the crap inside these old buildings.
He is wearing the mask wrong most of the time. You can tell because of his breathing, itis not fit around his chin. If he had it on correctly his voice would be muffled, when exhaling you would hear the check valve releasing his breathe. You can hear it sometimes, it sounds like you are blowing up a ballon. Proper breathing is important, inhale through your nose, exhale via mouth. This is from the CDC (Center of Disease Control) How to Wear the Respirator Always read and follow the manufacturer's directions when using a respirator. The respirator must cover both the nose and mouth to keep you from breathing in mold and dust. If the respirator does not have a snug fit, it will not work properly. Correct fit of the respirator requires contact with smooth skin. It will not work properly for people with beards or facial hair. Even one-day beard growth has been shown to let air leak in. Always use both straps on the respirator to hold it in place to keep air from leaking around the respirator. How to Make Sure the Respirator Fits Do a user seal check, including both positive and negative pressure checks, to verify that you have correctly put on the respirator and adjusted it to fit properly. Negative pressure check Place both hands completely over the respirator and inhale sharply. Be careful not to disturb the position of the respirator. The respirator should pull into your face. If air leaks around your face or eyes, adjust the nosepiece and straps and repeat the positive pressure check. Positive pressure check Put your hands over the respirator and breathe out sharply. If your respirator has an exhalation valve be sure to cover the exhalation valve when you exhale. No air should leak out of the respirator if the respirator fits properly. If air leaks out, re-adjust the nosepiece and straps and repeat the negative pressure check.
You found an old Dept of Civil Defense stock room in there!!! You need to share video from that!!! Usually if they are that well stocked they usually have a staging area or a dedicated fallout shelter
I know that hospital. Some friends and I got in there in 2000 before they knocked a bunch of the buildings down. We saw the old theater that's bigger than the one you guys saw, plus crawling through the tunnels that where there as well. It was great.
Please look up the Corpus Christi abandoned court house! You must check it out before its demolished in a couple of years :( I've told you about it before and I'd love to see it! I pass by it every week but I don't even know how to get in:(

Your camera is crystal clear. What do you record on?
pornhub
+Brandon Junbelick I don't think you can record on that.
I think GoPro
+Kreiptonight HD No not a gopro. Gopro's don't perform that well in low-light, also they have a fish-eye lens.
+Max yah I agree defo not a Gopro and if it is I want a refund for mine because its no where near as good quality
THE CAFF
lol
Caff can be short for cafeteria, thats how i grew up saying it.
+Bechasnolife it said café which is pronounced caf a
I'd really bring those blueprints back and frame them. Far better to preserve it than let it be destroyed with the building.

Please check out the abandoned theater "Teatro Opera" in Mexico City. It's architecture is Art Deco and it would be fantastic to explore. It's history is breathtaking!

terrible day, major head ache, soar throat. Best part of day -exploring with Josh !
I love the historical background of this asylum. The papers about brain waves were cool
You should start a blog or a website with a gallery of all of the photos you've taken while exploring and the locations!!

Very true... I got really sick from using a mouth piece for 1-1.5 years...
This is from the CDC (Center of Disease Control) How to Wear the Respirator
Always read and follow the manufacturer's directions when using a respirator.
How to Make Sure the Respirator Fits
Do a user seal check, including both positive and negative pressure checks, to verify that you have correctly put on the respirator and adjusted it to fit properly. Negative pressure check
Place both hands completely over the respirator and inhale sharply. Be careful not to disturb the position of the respirator. The respirator should pull into your face. If air leaks around your face or eyes, adjust the nosepiece and straps and repeat the positive pressure check.
Positive pressure check
Put your hands over the respirator and breathe out sharply.
Great work guys. The BGM was not bad, but that definitively deserved some Silent Hill 2 tracks on the background!
a lot of torture in that asylum scary usually a storm cleans it as well
11:11 Looks like blood on the paper a little
Great Video👍🏻Many greetings from Germany
Lmao did any souls fan notice the "praise the sun" writing on the right side of the wall at 2:59 ?
Sanguine Dawn XD PRAISE THE SUN
I know that hospital. Some friends and I got in there in 2000 before they knocked a bunch of the buildings down. We saw the old theater that's bigger than the one you guys saw, plus crawling through the tunnels that where there as well. It was great.
I wanna see these guys take some of the hard drives/floppy discs out of computers they find and look through them. That would be awesome
