@@zee0055 not really, any big body will give them hard time but wont be able to stop them. Why waste Lebron being that big body when you have Dwight or DJ for those garbage minutes and just for bodies to throw at great bigs.
I enjoyed watching LeBron playing Point Center. Reminds me of how he played against the Raptors and Boston back when he was in Miami. He'd play guard defensively against the Raptors then he'd play the 4 against Boston. And I remember him really giving KG some serious problems at the paint. Really one of the best player to ever play in the NBA. It's kinda concerning though that at year 19 he had to play 43 minutes to put his team on his back to get the W. I remember Kobe getting injured because of the minutes he was playing when they were trying to get into the playoffs. He played 48 minutes per game several times and it was the reason his injuries had gone worse later in his career. Last season when Ad was injured, Bron had to do this as well. I hope to see Brodie playing efficiently with playmaking and cutting the turnovers so Bron wouldn't have to do this extra minutes in the regular season to win. Hopefully, we can see the entire roster healthy and playing together earlier than expected. Consistency is what they really need right now. Hopefully the coaching staffs can fix their problems defensively so we won't have to watch them again getting embarrassed and blown out by their opponents.
he usually plays around 33-35 mins, since this was a close game he played 3 more mins and then it went to OT. this isnt concerning at all, its just what happens when youre going into OT. trust me, the lakers staff knows how unimportant the regular season for this lakers squad is, they wont risk anything. also lebron came off a suspension, so he was fresh, if anything he rested 28mins more in those two games than he usually would have.
@@Max-me9ol I agree. He's well rested because of that suspension. I just really want to see the Lakers pull ahead in the 3rd and not let their opponent close the gap.
@Jean-Patrice Paluku but still defending center is a tough job its hard to battle them for rebound or for position to box out and coming to other end leading the offense
You can easily get burned that way as well so I wouldn't have LeBron playing Center on defense too much. Once teams figure out what passes LeBron likes to jump, what pick and rolls he likes to sit on, etcera, you can easily get guys behind him for the easy layup
Westbrook needs to score at least 20 points in every game(with whatever number of shots he's allowed to take) and make less turnovers. Rest of the offence can be managed by either Bron or AD(in case one of them is injured). We've decent shooters in Ellington, Melo and Monk and Vogel should give Howard more minutes as he's still good and lastly all of them need to concentrate on defence more.
I agree. Howard has been shooting well from the 3 lately and can still dominate his opponent underneath the basket. They should use him right instead of playing him during garbage time.
They need to not play Deandre. I don’t care if they aren’t healthy. Lebron or AD at center always . That will dramatically increase their defensive switchablity and give Westbrook more space to do his devastating drives. Have melo play like stretch 4
It kinda hit me while watching the game last night, that when ad comes back, he should play the 4 onn defense and bron at 5. bron is quicker on his feet so wont get burned on pick and rolls. and also he can switch on the opposing point guard, ad is too slow to guard the elite guards of this age. and bron been really hesitant and slow on contesting the shots from opposing wings lately. i think ads length can be a huge problem for the shooters. he blocks 3 pointers which is a very rare thing to do.

His IQ really shines when playing center. He can disrupt plays, is always in the right position, and is a decent rim protector at this age as well. I look forward to the lakers using this lineup more often
I have never watched basketball so deeply like all the plays the iq and skill I see it but not that deeply but with these analysis s everything looks so clear which is what makes basketball beautiful
Given AD's health and the way Westbrook affects their offensive plans, I think it'd be good to see LeBron play more center and PF on D (or even, a little bit, on offense). He won't have to move around as much if he's protecting the paint, and he won't be as likely to get injured there either. Historically speaking, a lot of the guys who have lasted a long time in the NBA, like Kareem, Dikembe Mutombo, Dirk, & Kobe, have played frequently of the post.
Playing Center on D is a lot of wear and tear on your body. Idk what stat you're reading that says you're less likely to get injured there. There's a lot of banging and tangling going on. That's part of the reason AD can't stay healthy. He's too thin to be playing the 5. I don't think that's what you want for LeBron at this age
@@ATLMike94 I understand that you bang around a lot on center. One thing I will say about AD is that I don't think his injuries are because he's too thin. Hakeem was a couple inches taller and weighed the exact same, as was Dirk, and David Robinson actually had a listed weight 20 lbs less than AD. I think it's more that AD is probably more naturally injury-prone, that he lands on his butt a lot when contesting at the rim or running for lobs (even when he's successful), and maybe something else, like his gait mechanics, that might be adding to the stress on his body. As far as the reason I suggested LeBron play center, what I mean is that I would like to see more LeBron post-ups. There seems to be a significant correlation between moving less and having a longer career - this vid: ruclips.net/video/T8Aj1Rq5fKc/видео.html as well as the fact that a bunch of the NBA Career Seasons Played leaders played primarily out of the post:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Basketball_Association_seasons_played_leaders. At the same time, though, I recognize that playing more in the post will be difficult with Westbrook on the floor, so at this point, I think it'd probably be a good idea to either only really play center on D (so Westbrook can concentrate his efforts on stopping penetration) or to just bench Russell altogether.
Playing bron on 4 or 5 should depend on the match up, this kind of scheme is too much for a year 19 lebron if they face up against legit big men. I called that a few days ago, LBJ should play 5, specially when Westbrook in on the floor. His presence on the lane will open for Westbrook drives and when defense double him under the rim a wing will be wide open for a 3.
This has been what Philippines is doing when they had Blatche in 2014 world cup.. As the smallest team in the tournament they have to be quick with a small line up that is why Blatche is playing point center to atleast create mismatch..

When others and I have calles him the greatest of all time, this is part of the reason we've been calling him the GOAT. He can do it all.
Happy Thanksgiving ppl
You to brother
Lebron played point guard and center at the same time? Nikola Jokic calls that "Thursday."
2:41 nice humongous bounce over there
Lakers will get into groove
2:42 SHUT UP, KAREN 😂
Of course, you can’t count out a champ and one of the best of all time playing like ol’Brady
4:11 you should've done the Bron celebration
LePebble????
That's right you're thinking buddy, LeBron is a PC lmaooooooooo
I called that a few days ago, LBJ should play 5, specially when Westbrook in on the floor. His presence on the lane will open for Westbrook drives and when defense double him under the rim a wing will be wide open for a 3.
bro people forget that this lakers team has not been fully healthy this season. At full health they should be making the finals
kiyoshi is crazy man
This has been what Philippines is doing when they had Blatche in 2014 world cup.. As the smallest team in the tournament they have to be quick with a small line up that is why Blatche is playing point center to atleast create mismatch..
Draymond been doing this but I dont see anyone talkin bout it
As a Pacers fan, no surprise. James killed Indiana his hole career
"communicate to all positions." aka {my teamates are dumb and I need to do everything}
Exactly, this is what lebron wants to say..🤣
43 minutes? Lebron is not going to be able to do this every game. Lakers are in trouble.
Flashbacks to 2013 kobe lol, old man carrying the team but injured himself
My thought is that he’s gonna load manage all season and try to make a playoff run from a 5-6 seed. They have Russ to run the offense when he’s out.
It went to OT. Shut up. LeBron even said he likes playing longer minutes
Lakers champions this year 2021 😎👍
Man really put his script into the description lmao
Every time dude every time 🤘
That is the reason why i sub to white kyrie..
About time, he could have done that way earlier in his career
I was wrong about lebron when he transferred to LA. Now he is ageing like fine wine
2:41 Stefan you dirty boi
