Don't know why I ended up watching this video.. but the idea of using the Roku at a hotel never occurred to me. Currently away on 5 days of business and I took my Roku for the first time so can watch what I want to watch... why did I never think of this before?

The Humax FVP-5000T for £299 that is supposedly a What Hi-Fi Awards 2019 winner? This looks to have a poor interface/remote/severe lack of apps and that has all the freeview channels and most features i can get on my Smart TV.. - No thanks. The Roku Stick + on the other hand is great and gets used all the time

Wtf you talking about? Record numbers of people are not watching TV in favour of Netflix prime Disney plus and so on. Nobody wants to pay TV Licence and nobody wants to pay sky for adverts. I can assure you we are not a nation of telly addicts if anything most of us don't even watch TV at all. I am genuinely sick of watching advert after advert I'm sick of being bombarded with adverts every 10 minutes. I know I'm not alone. So no you are wrong.

WHY DO YOU EVEN NEED ONE?? IT ALL COMES BUILT IN WITH A SMART TV LOL. THE TV IS NOT THE MOST EXPENSIVE IT'S THE CHEAPEST LOL. IT LITERALLY COSTS YOU 0 EXTRA TO STREAM

my Mum bought a fire stick to plug into her newer LG tv, I tried to explain to her that all the apps were already built into the TV so it was unneeded, she really didn't get it, wonder how many other pensioners are the same?

Lots of different apps on firesticks that are not built into TV's.

My smart TV cost me over * 5000 so speak for yourself. Maybe you're Smart TV wasn't very expensive but believe me but believe me some of the better ones are anything but cheap.
