Khalil really got into the Thai style of Muay Thai. If he can land hard hooks and overhands he could really shock people. Avoid the calf kick and left hook and just go savage
The leg kick has always been a great weapon for Alex and Khalil will be prepared for that, with that being said Khalil cannot allow himself to be cornered and walked down as Anthony did to him, Alex gonna touch his body and then land his favourite left hook if Khalik ever did that mistake, Alex could be the aggressor and be a counter-sniper as well which made him very dangerous, I wonder how the fight’s gonna be like and that makes me so excited for this particular fight.

I sparred Rountree back in 2019 and he made me quite 10 seconds in right after he landed the first and only strike a leg kick. I even had pads on I don’t believe you’ve ever spared him I don’t think I’ve ever seen him get dropped in the gym by a non UFC fighter.
He said he weighs around 230. When he trains for a fight he naturally trims to around 215-220. He cuts between 5-10 pounds by that point so he's not experiencing a terrible weight cut like others. I'm sure that if he were to cut weight for a short notice fight tho, he'd feel like everyone else since he's not losing his weight from a 6-8 week camp.

Khalil is the only other light heavyweight who ACTUALLY was on a streak. Ankalaev had a no contest that should’ve been a DQ and a draw before that. Meanwhile Khalil is on a 5 fight win streak knocking out 4 of them and Ankalaev barely gets a finish and if so it’s against the guy with the worst chin on the roster😂 Khalil deserved it.

He showed up, beat 3 solid members of the division, and had previously beaten the (at the time) undefeated at Middleweight Champ Izzy. Twice. Sure he got fast tracked, but he obviously deserves to be in that position cause he got the win.
