Yeah, this pirate gang's super well outfitted, an Interdictor ISD, a Nebulon B, a station, a bunch of Assault Transports, Stormtrooper Transports, and Assault Gunboats plus a ton of headhunters. Plus of course the station and the mansion.
It was such a treat that a lot of my favourite ships from the X-Wing / TIE-fighter series made a reappearance here. The artists for this game really did their homework.
I'm not sure why people complain about this level. I am a sucker for labyrinthian space ships, especially the industrial interiors like in this level and the one in the previous level. I also love the expansive base levels like the one in the first level, or the Imperial base in level one of the original Dark Forces. They're a lot cooler than the spaceport level in my opinion, which lacked detail I felt. I know I am two years late to the party, but I'm loving your play through.
god damn i even shot those cameras for the hell of it....was using bryar pistol so it didnt kill the second one. I was completely stuck so frustrating. if i used a diff gun i wouldnt have been stuck
Weird. I tried shooting the cameras with the blaster rifle and it doesn't seem to affect them in any way. I had to use explosive ammo to destroy them. Maybe it's a bug.
I can‘t get over the old school 3d graphics. Glad I entered the series with jedi Outcast on the Xbox. Now I have JO and JA on my imac. I got back into these after switching to keyboard controls which give way more direct access to force powers, versus the toggling offered on a regular gamepad. They’re great. But even those could use graphical and game play upgrades to be on par with the times. There is a new lightsaber based game in the works that hopefully will have similar if not better mechanics than the outcast/academy series of games. Looking forward to that.
I think I like dark forces 2 as opposed to this, mainly because of the live action cutscenes and I feel the environments are more uniquely detailed compared to this one for some reason; dark forces 1 is also a little better than this one, I think I like those games better overall because it's all kyle katarn, don't get me wrong, I love Mara Jade (I'm highly attracted to redheads), but the story and characters and designs are a little better than this game, never played Jedi outcast and have yet to watch the videos, lighteningboltforever, as a fellow star wars fan, I'll watch your uploads only.
Excellent video- i do like how they out the Z95s in there for eye candy and such.

This level is kinda medium for me, I hate when I get killed by those wind currents, also I like seeing the stars again :)
I noticed that your weapon and other game textures look more detailed than I remember, some type of mod? I was never able to find one that worked.
Great to see you again sir. Nice video
You should do F.E.A.R for your next walkthrough!
Awesome vid Bolt!

For new force powers, I would have chosen protection.
7:10 you can actually jump up there with force speed and force jump if u run in a certain direction
4:20:Those droids look like those little flying robots in the movie Batteries Not Included.
Was carbonite borrowed from Duke Nuk'em 3D?

He's even playing with a model overhaul mod so the graphics look a little better.
Love your videos:)
The level doesn't look too bland to me. It looks really colourful since it's on a ship!
1:33 almost looks like a LAAT Republic Gunship docked

Your Jedi Rank is in Level 10 much higher then mine. How did you reach that? I only advance by the level.
