This was one of my favorite levels too. I remember being so eager to explore that the first time I played I didn't listen to Mara & Abron Mar escaped. One of my favorite things to do was to steal everyone's weapon, that way when you do become a target to them all they can do is punch you.
You made my day by finding the Droid Ballet - I knew I had seen it in this level somewhere but could not for the life of me remember how, where, or if I'd just made it up in my head. Thanks!
Back in 1990s I never made it up to Katraasii, as the game wasn't mine. So I missed the whole this part of the game. One of the Video games magazine had some screenshots however, and the description of the level, which seemed to be quite the exploring and adventure.
The funny thing is there is another YT-1300 ship you can find in one of the hangars, being shot by stormtroopers before it takes off. One of these have got to be the Falcon.
Dude, it’s awesome that you didn’t stop making videos! I was super bummed when you said you were ending your channel but am now overjoyed that you are still making videos.
I just realized that Mara Jade's starship in this game shares a huge resemblance with the Mandalorian Kom'rk-class fighter (featured in the Clone Wars show). I wonder if the latter was inspired by the ship in this game.
This level was my favorite one of the game, it's the equivalent of the Baron's Head level in Dark Forces 2, for me at least; this must be a different version of the game because the stormtroopers always opened fire on me right away.
I always liked Baron's Hed (recently replayed the game and apparently it's Hed, not Head I found out), but I disliked the second level where you're at the bottom of the tower and it's so open and at-st's everywhere.
When I recently played this, I went into the trap area and cleared it out, but somehow I missed picking up the scope. I knew I originally had it for part of this level, and the next!
I loved this mission when I used to play this game. I'm so glad you decided to play this game! I'm loving your star wars let's plays! Can't wait for more stuff in the future!
This remaster mod actually makes Abron Mar's face LESS detailed. It removes some of the bits around his lips and nose, and also makes it look like his goggles are eyes.
0:06 **Gasp nerdfully** The Mil.... Mill... Mille.... I can't say. I am not worthy to say the name of if not the most iconic ships to ever roam between the stars of our loved fantasy :) What was it doing there? Any explanation as to why it was doing there?
Pretty cool level! Looks even better with the enhanced mod. Also, will you do a walkthrough of KOTOR? Just finished it last week, I’m on the second game and it’s REALLY good.
I realize I'm responding to this super late, but I have thought of doing KotOR on the channel. Maybe not a full-on LP/walkthrough, but definitely a live stream!
I like the stars ✨ in level 6 MotS than level 2 because in level 2 night sky 🌌, it looks like a piece of paper in the sky rather than stars ✨which it still has stars in the sky
Probably just the opening cut scenes of both levels are what your talking about, as far as the 'paper in the sky'. They both literally show white dots in the sky with a black background. But the rest of the two levels shows a more real and pretty night sky with nebulae. Except the nebulae in level 2 are a brownish reddish color, and in level 6, a more bluish purplish color. But yeah, I see what your saying.
The one thing I found particularly puzzling about this level is that after you find Abaron you're not given any indication as to what to do next. I spent quite a long time trying to figure it out. In the end I had to look it up. I'd say it's quite hard unless you know what you're looking for. Worse still is not knowing that you have to connect the somewhat hidden pipes at the very end of the level to be able to activate the switches. Anyways, the whole of Dark Forces II is a really fun game. The first game is more of a pain for a variety of reasons.
@LightningBoltForever: Can't those Thermal Detonators be placed down as a sort-of Proximity Mine? If so, you could've placed down a few of them before the friendly Stormtroopers turned hostile and attack you, which would've made them fall into a trap (hence the proximity mines)
I'm mega pissed I spent half an hour going in circles and even activated the flying cheat trying to find a hidden door, only for it to be exactly where I already looked earliera

One of the best levels in any game.
It really feels like a live space port and not just a place for you to shoot people in.

Did anyone else notice the Millennium Falcon fly over in the first few seconds of the video?

Great to see you back!
This level sure has a different feel to it by being mostly for exploration! And that droid ballet sure was a neat touch!

The repeater gun and the lightsaber are the two best weapons, even though the other weapons do have their uses.

Lirka yeah, if I could play that game again, I would just ignore the AT-ST walkers and play it like this guy did...
i really love this level too. but what i liked even more than barons head in dark forces 2 was the fuel station on sullust. such an awesome design!
@@asator0505 yeah, the fuel station is well designed, but it's too long for my tastes; by the way, it's on "Sulon", it's a moon of Sullust....
@@mikekelley2877 oh yeah, thats actually what i meant. i just confused it.

That is always a welcoem feature to me- just explore the world/level. Great so far!
The good news is that there are no secrets in the level to look for

ages ago i watched ur wolfenstien 3d playthrough even though you have changed so much ur content is so entertaining please keep it up

"It's a trap" "I love this job" (making a nice hole in the door...)
Kyle couldn't have done and quote that better...
Great job, really enjoy your vids.
my feelings are, as usual, i wish that i live at katrassi space port
Would you consider doing a Quake let's play next?

There are still also Stormtrooper Backpacks, they're just not as common as the Smuggler Backpack or Explorer Backpack.
The cough was nothing serious I hope ??.Very nice walkthrough .. Helps me alot .. Thank you !!.
Great to see you doing MOTS!
Your videos are very helpful❤️😉. This game is sometimes very difficult🤣.

Who in the actual hell, ever thought the tusken raiders were Weequays? ... You can clearly hear that they're not.
Missed you man, nice video!
Nice video! I love the LucasArts games but Outlaws is probably my all time favorite.
i'd vote for Duke Nukem in a "Star Wars" game!!!!! nothing's funnier than seeing Duke shrink a Stormtrooper and step on his ass

this game is awesome, playing this for the first time haha
🎶 Oooh, every party has a pooper, that is why we come to Weeqay! 🎶

I think the Sequencer Charges act as proximity mines. Thermal Detonators are simply thrown grenades afaik.
They're actually grave tuskens, not tusken raiders.
Imperial Remnant Stormtroopers just don't give a damn, probably just army troopers in spare stormtrooper armor.

Hey my gamer can you please share me the link to the mots enhanced mod that you use...
Where did you find this mod? Does it also work with Jedi knight?
Is this some sort of special edition? I have Grave Tuskens, healthpacks are big cubes and the graphics are a decade behind yours lol
I'm mega pissed I spent half an hour going in circles and even activated the flying cheat trying to find a hidden door, only for it to be exactly where I already looked earliera
Hot To Katraasii
2:38 i did the same thing
