Emergency lights hooked up to 12v:
• Old School Firetruck E...
St Paul FD bought #8 E1 ladders between 1986-1995,2015 & really got our $ s worth,great ladders for us👍
It was a very cool old firetruck, the engine is now in a semi and seeing lots of use every day!
First I to say I loved the video and that I was a firefighter in the 80's and 90's . I operated eones and I think they are great trucks. Our city operates a 1997 model as reserved engine and sometimes as First due .
Very cool!
Nothing like the sound of a Detroit.
This one was such a nice running engine, it's been swapped in to a semi truck now, works every day.
Old Fairfax County rig. That thing has seen some action.
That's pretty cool that you recognized it!
Yes yes!!! Old Fairfax County ladder truck. Born and raised there!!
Rode a 1990 in Fairfax. That thing handled well and got up in speed quickly. I think it was 7072?
Assigned to the Annadale station when I was there in 94-95.
This reminds me of Lancaster Ohio's 1983 Suthphen.
This was a cool old ladder truck, the engine is powering a semi now
Fairfax County, Va Truck 8. This rig was at the Annandale station when I was assigned there as Lt in 1994-95. She was a good rig.
That is really neat that you were able to connect the dots back to it. The Detroit engine is now in a semi and lives on!
That truck had some WORK in its day.
The engine is still going strong in a semi now!
@@frostydoesit nice! My first truck was at 11, it was the old 86 E-One. I think it was a 125’ but I may be mistaken it’s been so long. They replaced it with a Pierce around 05. Lol that cab was HOT. Great in the winter, hell in the summer. But those aluminum ladders were so fast, you had to REALLY he on your game when spotting! Great content!
That truck reminds me of a 1990 Seagrave rear ladder 100ft. Quint and it’s in the graveyard for fire trucks
It was tough to cut this one up, was in such nice shape
I love that 1991 E-One
It was a very well built rig, really like the styling it had.
@@frostydoesit same
Beautiful Rig!
It sure was!
So sad to see this video and find out this truck was parted out. If I had a place to keep it I would have loved to have bought this.
It is sad taking them apart sometimes, but it's changed hands several times and it never was used...just sat and sat and sat. Now the engine is at least being used in another truck and the owner of that truck is driving it all over the country making money....so it's not all sad (=
How much for the 3 bulb light on the front and the siren on the bumper?
Hi Quinn, those two items were the 1st things that sold, I still have the emergency lights from the top of the cab though
I’m guessing a HTB 748 or HT747 Allison Transmission
It is an Allison, I'll look at it tomorrow to see if you are right!
Mike how much you asking for the motor and trans and all the wiring?
Hi Mathew, the engine and trans we are asking 8k. Most of the wiring of the truck has been cut and scrapped.
E-one hurricane
Wonder how many fires this old girl put out in her day
@@frostydoesit Fairfax county rigs were beaten on, it definetly put out over 1000
Why would you part it out, you should restore it and make it look new
Sadly it's worth far more in parts than together.
@@frostydoesit that’s unfortunate
