Why do people that rich have a mortgage? Pay in full. You only have a mortgage if you don’t have the money. One of my friend who paid his house in full said he isn’t afraid of getting fired because he doesn’t have a mortgage. Just imagine not afraid of not getting a paid check short term?

I think a lot of people fail to realize is the mansions require a lot of work/up keep on these homes. A lot of times they can't pay off the home in full because rappers are given a loan from the record company, which they have to pay back. Once they purchase these homes they have to pay taxes and expenses which can be expensive. It's much more to it than paying mortgage. To much is given much is required

Or they get a Mike Tyson Mansion that’s a small hotel pools,landscaping that you have to hire a staff to maintain. Property taxes on private roads come out of the homeowners pockets replacing roads .
