It's sad that this video only had recent stories. One example of someone they didn't talk about was Abbott & Costello. By 1950 they both had a net worth of around $50 million dollars each. $50 million at that time would be $250 million today. So they were worth about 1/2 a billion dollars combined. Yet they both died broke.
Nah...you're high on your estimates. Read in a book that Bud's daughter asked him how much he made in total over the years (he was in tax troubles & she was helping him navigate thru it - early 1970's I think) and he said between $10 - 15 million. Even THAT was an astronomical amount at that time and nothing to sneeze at. So, would be about $50-75 mil in today's dollars. But yeah, they blew almost all of it.

Did she file for personal or for a business? Trump has never filed for personal bankruptcy, but he's filed for business bankruptcies six times. They are not the same. Chapter 7 bankruptcies liquidate the company's assets and pays creditors with the proceeds while Chapter 11 bankruptcies merely restructure a company's debts so that it can pay them. All six of Trump's bankruptcies were filed under Chapter 11, and six is an impressive amount, particularly when Trump owns around 525 businesses!
