For anyone that wants to take the window all the way out of the door, you MUST remove the beltline weather stripping at the top of the door. They are already removed in the video. "Beltline" because if you are standing next to the door they will be about belt high. You need to remove the fuzzy felt inner piece as well as the outer "windshield-wiper style" outer piece. You'll need to pry the clips out of the door. Try not to bend them up too much or they will be all wavy when you put them back in. You can buy replacements if you need them. I was trying not to disturb mine as I didn't want to mess them up, but after an hour of struggling to get the glass out I finally took both of them off and then the glass came right out. What a pain!
Thanks, I was looking at how to get the window stop for the back in once the window is installed, can't, so I see that you have it installed prior to putting the window in. Thanks very helpful.
the window stop on the glass can be installed after the window is in the door.. and normally is because it must be removed to remove/install the window.. there's an access hole about mid way. just raise/lower the glass once its installed on the regulator.. the stop on the rear track however should be installed before installing the rear track because its a pita to do otherwise, but can be done..
