Whenever there is any UN or UNSC voting, India will always pick the "abstain" option. India did nothing in WW1 or WW2 and in the Korean War (no ground troops, only medical aid). Expecting India to contribute to world peace is an impossibility. Indians have shown to the entire world that their self-interests are more important than global security/peace (WW1 or WW2).
India sent more army personnels to WW1 (for the british) than any nation on earth.
India is single handedly ensuring peace in indo pacific by doing counter piracy operations and securing trade vassals in the seas.
