Nice vid 👍 So far I prefer rocksteady in ultra wide, or wide. When I learn to edit video that may change. I tried gyroflow once recently and it seemed to introduce jello type effect on the edges. I didn't scale down like you did though so maybe that was why?

I have found that GyroFlow offers far better stabilization than RockSteady in windy and gusty conditions that would have made the footage unusable for YT videos. In stable air, I use Rocksteady simply because it offers a wider field of view and one less step in the editing process. GyroFlow is insurance that enhances the probability that my videos will be usable, especially for shots that would be difficult to repeat. In addition, GyroFlow is extremely easy to use, like putting a load of clothes through the washing machine. It is a great value.
Appreciate your insights on this. I find the Avata 2 doesn’t like wind. Even though it got a high rating the slightest bit can make it freak out. Rocksteady definitely reduces workflow. All depends what you’re doing with the footage end of the day
I guess I am scratching my head. Why did you compare Gyro to Rocksteady flying a drone with a gimbal. Wouldn't a more notable test be, riding a bike down a trail in low light?
When I see other channels they talk about turning off rock steady and using gyro flow. I wanted to see if there was a difference between RockSteady and if it was superior.
I recorded my video with no stabilization but after I check my files I realized that the Avata 2 has slipped my video in two parts... Now when I stabilize my video I have to do this in two parts.. and then when I put both files together on da Vinci they have different frames scale ... Wich is terrible... What do I need to do to solve this issue ?

Where is the video being displayed?
RockSteady was my pick. Gyro flow introduces weird zooming effect which I don't like the look of.

Whats ur settings of camera , stabilization, expo gain?
I actually haven’t flown much indoor. If I was I prefer flying the Cinelog25 it much better and no low light interference from sensors.

Question, updated my Dji avata 2 on May 29 , but i did not see the 40/100fps choices., im using the 40/60 fps...need help, thanks.

4k/100fps only available in 16:9 not in 4:3. Today was my first flight with my new avata 2. A lot quiter than my avata 1

@@DimmyV Have you made sure you've updated your DJI Fly App first? Then check for the New firmware update in your App settings.

To be honest the Rocksteady footage looks better to me.

The Avata 2 always splits the clips otherwise files would be massive. Can you copy and paste the setting from first clip to second?
Ich finde Rocksteady auch angenehmer als Gyroflow. Obwohl ich gerne nachbearbeite eigentlich.

Note: it's not working good with ND filters, at least to my knowledge and what gyroflow team wrote..
Interesting insight what happened in gyroflow? I don’t see how an ND filter can affect this?
@@DimmyV sometimes it's ok I assume it depends on how many pixels it can track..
@@DimmyV My guess: stabilizers use the sharp pixels near the edge to best determine shake and rotation. ND filters blur most of those pixels.
