Most people don't have a clue what you farm folks go through. Only the strong can handle your job. You earn every penny that comes your way. America needs you.
I have to call this out. It's amazing how much Chet and Dougo have evolved throughout these videos! Rested to completely exhausted and dirty haha. Keep up the awesome work guys. Appreciate you Chet!
Mama’s car is sweet sounds cool. You are right Chet the “big Swede “ is a rock star. But if he don’t get the right sleep, he will get sick. All of you need to get sleep. Stay safe and careful see y’all on the next video
I understand those kind of hours you guys have been putting in. We all do what's necessary when you are under the gun, but Eric is a true worker and a true friend. Our next door neighbors are like that too. Their second oldest son can work 25 hours a day and still maintain a great attitude. I don't think a I'm bad worker but he puts us all to shame. He's only 25 right now and still shows no sign of slowing down. One thing I'm sure you will agree on though.... when everything is planted, you look on those fields with a LOT of pride. Stay safe and God bless!
🇺🇸 You fellas are young, back in the day...now that I think of it get your sleep! Trust me it sucks end worn out, broken and useless at 45! Between trucking and farming I spent more sleepless nights than I care to remember, I'm 62 now and I've just been "living the dream"🤮!!! All the money in the world is worthless if you don't have your health. 🙏👍🙏
Big sweed is the man a legend, the story goes one time during deer hunting God himself entered a swamp but so far in he lost one of his over shoes in the mud and snow and went home, later that day a shot rang out bewildered by the noise Dougo sent chet out to check it out but the swamp was to rough for him but out of the corner of his eye he saw some movement so he turned up the heat and opened the window sure enough it was the big sweed dragging a ten point buck with one hand and his gun and Gods over shoe in the other hand, needless to say the big sweed was quite the talk of the town that year, that's how the big sweed became a legend. Quite popular with the ladies too I've heard he was related to Paul Bunyan but that story seems a little far fetched to me but I guess you never know. Thanks again for the great video guys....
Parents should make there kids watch this video cause it makes us older people rip our hats to Chet, big swede and Brody. Most kids these days would rather play on video games all day and not go outside. When we grew up if we weren’t cutting hay or working cattle we where still outside playing. The big swede and Brody’s are amazing cause the farm isn’t there’s but they work like it is and they take pride in what they and the same with Chet even though he’s a part owner he still is out in the middle of everything and not barking orders to hired hands but is getting just as dirty and staying up just as long as the others. Keep up the amazing work
The Larson family is a hard working team. Chet is a brave and tough guy after a year of the loss of the love of his life. Thanks to the BS and Brodie keeping Chet mind busy and he has an awesome family....
Life of a farmer. Lots of unpredictability. Plan for the best, stay calm when the you know what hits the reciprocating blades and your day/night goes Topsy-turvy. Need some more Dougo footage. The Big Swede is definitely THE MAN.
Had a socket get stuck on a alternator bolt . It's been over a 1000 acres have pass under it, we're it's been stuck. Must be how I ended up with a drawer of new socket sets missing atleast 1 socket. Great vid 🇺🇲🌽☝️
Great job Guys! Toby must not be at the shop with that kitten running around. Please tell Ms. Dougo how beautiful she looked and I like her new vehicle! Bless you all at Larson Farms. Bless all the people suffering and in distress.
Thanks for another great video on the planting season. These back to back planting videos gives a person a good feel for what all of you are going through. Thanks for the drone footage. Really good shots from above on what is going on. Shouts farmer and America. Eric, thanks for the hours you put in to get the job done. Unbelievable how many hours you go straight. Very dedicated to getting the job done. Good man!!!!!!!! Same shout out to Brody and Chet and Dougo for the hours they put in to get the job done. Brody was a great addition this year to the staff. Chet you do a great job jumping from one thing to another one. Some have trouble with that. You just cruse from one to another. Pretty soon you all will have planting done and over. Good show all. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything. You all get some sleep and rest the eyes. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Chet Dougo Eric Broodie that was supper you all are real men all work and little sleep and a broken shock bracket I wish that was all I had during planting season I have tractors go down with 2 to 3 weeks to get them parts but I have back up and loanersyou guys got it going and close to getting done with all hours and all hands on deck.
One of the best videos from you guys! Great work! Those drone shots were really something. Great to see you all keeping a sense of humor in spite of the frustrating weather and the damage to the farm. Looking at the calendar, I hope that everything is in the ground by now. Take care!
I once seeded 640 acres , 1/4 sections -of land did in 4 days with a 22ft JD9300 seed drill THAT was '93 with no sleep, just so I could go Drag Racing !!!! ran 6,83 @ 223mph back in the day
Props to the Big Swede for not knowing when to quit! And props to the rest of the crew for working these crazy hours getting the crop in! Hopefully your all through the madness now and your all rested!
You have no idea how many times I did that in my old Pete. Its a bad feeling when your locked out. Luckily the little wing windows on those older Petes save ya. Take vice grips or pliers and turn the plastic latch (the whole nut and all) and you can open the wing window and reach in. 👍
Thanks and keep up the drone footage. Praying all farmers and the rest of us make through these trying times.. south central ohio. Gas 5.09 diesel 6.24
I've experienced that Subway sandwich many many times and I constantly go back to the same one there's only one thing you could say and there's only one song you can listen to while you're recovering from major heartburn which we all know we love and it's Johnny Cash the old time hit the Ring of fire what a song
I laughed when you said the new welding looked better than the "chicken poop" that was on there before. I recalled working at a farm implement factory and my uncle came in to tell his son that it looked like "turkeys" were let in. My cousin was welding and I was bolting the end plates together using an impact wrench. When my uncle left, my cousin flipped his welding helmet up and gave me a silly grin. . . . Those were the days alright. My cousin went on to become a co-partner after he graduated from the College of Engineering. For me it was a summer job helping me pay bills for another year of university. We would often hear the question, "Who let the turkeys in?" . . . even if the weld was perfect. 🤣
Momma's got some lead in her foot, she just mashes it to the floor, go mom!!!!! Flying down the country road's, and then she is in mexico, where the speed limit disappears. God bless ya, party on mom!!
Chet, the job you're doing is called logistics manager or logistics coordinator. Running supplies to the fields, receiving new supplies from the suppliers and coordinating with your mom, grandmother and your grandpa to help pick-up parts. And doing a GREAT job !!! Logistics wins battles even with Mother Nature Have a great evening and a better tomorrow!
What I find interesting is that you are still struggling with plant 22 in the US and here in South Africa we are about to start corn harvest 22,tested it yesterday, still a little wet but we'll probally be going in about 10 days
Excellent videography I grew up in the mid west lived in town but farmed during my summers, my career has me working in a high rise in downtown Los Angles, some days I’d like to move back and farm.
I remember working many hours trying to beat the rain ,We were making hay well alfalfa hay and many kinds grasses for cattle feed tons and tons and the work never stops even when it rains the cattle needs to eat, And very little time for sleep. God bless and stay safe guys.
Oh yes. First it's "Too damn dry to rake" followed by an increase in humidity due to the incoming storm. Then it's bailing by moonlight. followed the next day doing the mad dash of loading the hay and unloading it into a hot tin roof barn before the rain starts.
@@Krieghandt I agree 100 percent hard work never killed any one. I can remember start baling sudangrass at 2 pm and bale tell the due set in and change to baling alfalfa till med night and chang to baling bermuda grass tell 9 or 10 am and go back to baling alfalfa again it never stops.
LONG live the LOVE of and LOVE FOR NICOLE Larson......What a beautiful heartwarming blonde girl and I'm sure you are very fortunate to have had her in your life!I'm glad I met her here on youtube. its hard to believe its been over a year since she went to the kingdom of heave, Carry on and LIVE like tomorrow is the last day.
Most people don't have a clue what you farm folks go through. Only the strong can handle your job. You earn every penny that comes your way. America needs you.
I love the big Swede. Middle of the night, and he has a smile and a great attitude. What a guy.
The Big Sweede is a very rare worker and even rarer FREIND!
Someone half chubbs when he sees the big swede!
Gotta work till the work is done. Sometimes you just work till your dangley bits are plowing furrows of their own.
The Big Swede truly treats the farm as he is part of the family. Such a valuable employee.
he is part the fam you can tell
My favorite MN farm channel by far. Nothing ever goes smoothly, and they address the constant fixes. This stuff isn't easy. Well done Larson Farms!
I have to call this out. It's amazing how much Chet and Dougo have evolved throughout these videos! Rested to completely exhausted and dirty haha. Keep up the awesome work guys. Appreciate you Chet!

Mom will be getting rid of that Durango in a couple months. My wife's 2020 gave her nothing but headaches. Sold it and now she loves her BMW X3 M40!

Is mom whipping an SRT Durango now? Anyways I gotta love a lady that will do a roll by for the camera and lay on it!
I see the hog barn is gone. Hope we get an update on it soon too. And unfortunately, I know you got some additional storm damage.
