All the codes I created are still there, but no files, When I click on a code it does open the section in the transcript that it is coded to. Any suggestions to restore the lost files? Question- assuming in your findings, your literature and knowledge confirms that what the teacher is describing is “differentiated instruction” which according to her, she uses as a responsive way to cater for the ESL students to match up with the other scholars. However, she described with many examples without using the term “differentiated instruction.” Maybe, she didn’t know that’s the name.
    In creating your theme, is it advisable to create you theme based on preferred phrase or words than to use differentiated instruction? This case, you create something unique, but whoever reads the excerpt and knows differentiated instruction knows what you are talking about.
    Or it’s okay to just use differentiated instruction?
    Sorry for the long text 🤐

    • @drphilipadu
      @drphilipadu  Год назад +1

      Yes, you can label it as 'Using differentiated instruction'. When representing the findings, you will have the chance to define it and quote the participants to support the them (see: ruclips.net/video/Gm3okfqvgNs/видео.html)

    I may need to re-listen to steps 1 and 2. These steps are a bit confusing for me

      Thank you!! Step 1 is more about reviewing the data and documenting (when needed) your initial thoughts and observations. Step 2 is about extracting relevant excerpts from the data and generating initial codes.

      @@adioumasene7313 I think you can use the free version but it is limited in terms of the number of interactions you will be allowed to have with the tool. You can try and see how it goes.
