I went in a different direction: I replaced the total gym cables/pulleys/handles with 12 ft of 1/2 inch strap and strap pulleys. I use gymnastic rings attached to the straps. It's really easy to adjust the strap length (only need to adjust one side) and takes just a few seconds to go from really short to really long. I use the rings so I can do false grip exercises like pullups, rows and muscleups. Also lets me practice turning out the rings for dips and shoulder presses. I can also do inverted muscleups (curl followed by press) on the machine. Adding the straps and rings totally changed the machine for the better.
The bar leg press takes a little practice and a little risk, but still feels good. It's not much tension though. I did like the face down knee extension and the face up leg extension with the ankle straps though. Again, probably have to be careful and make sure you have a quality ankle strap. But I think I remember you saying you had the dmoose ones.
Insane all the exercises you think of!

Thanks for the share, been kicking the idea around. Now I can re-purpose the chain from a swing set we have been storing,
Thanks Steve. Sounds like great use of the swing set for sure.
Awesome idea. It was very difficult for me to grab the straight bar.
I didn't even think about mentioning about that. This would make it easier for some of those more cumbersome exercises. Thanks for the comment.
What length chains?
Right on, almost ordered these👍
Hello I have seen both your videos you did on this topic what do you think is better the last set up or this one
I may have to get these chains, specifically for those cool new lower body moves. How was the lower body move w the bar? worthy or not?

Interesting but not for me…lol!
